This stuff is pretty good but its not as good as my H2O lip mender. MAC's lip conditioner does have a lot of really good ingredients, a unique smell and it does last on my lips. One thing that does bother me is that it doesn't really make my lips feel soft but I think this would be great under my lipglasses. This lip balm is A LOT better then vaseline in my opinion but I won't repurchase. Its not bad for $11.50 CAN though but eh...nothing special.
i love the dark smokey eye and natural lip look. and this color is PERFECT. i would have never picked it out on my own....looks like it would've been too brown for my tastes in the container, but the MAC makeup artist insisted i try it and it's AWESOME. not too brown AT ALL. it's very natural beige, and feels so good. not sticky. again, like everyone else, LOVE THE SCENT. :) please try it!!
The texture is very similar to Philosophy's and Kiehl's lipbalms. However, I can't tolerate the heavy waxy scent.
This is the best lip balm ever! I used to be a fan of burt's bees but it was more harmful to my lips than helpful. I tried this product as an escape and was pleasantly happy with the results. I haven't had chapped lips in over three months! It is great with lipstick or without. The packaging is a little bulky so it doesn't just fit in your pocket if you just want to get up and go. Gotta carry a purse for this one.
Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet!!
MAC lip conditioner in the pot is undoubtedly, my HG lip balm. It doesn't irritate my lips, lasts and moisturizes, I go into withdrawal without it - I have at least 2 at anyone time. One for my bedroom and one for travelling. As indispensible as my TBS hemp hand cream.
I love the packaging, simple and solid. There is a slight vanilla scent, I find soothing and pleasant after all these years.
I wear this as a base for lipgloss or lipstick but do not use it as a gloss or mix it to create new products like some of the more creative ladies on MUA.
I don't think I'll try the tinted versions simply because I have a ton of glosses already, and besides, I like that I can put the clear one on without a mirror - and this could be dangerous with petting pink...
I apply this lip balm at least 20 times a day, and it's not because it's that good. I find it dries out my lips something fierce, creating a really bad rebound effect. The funny this is that I can wear this overnight without any problems, but during the day it's just a mess. If I want to wear just a lip balm, this one is pretty poor since it's so drying. It is good however, for applying lipstick or gloss overtop, since it's not so gummy or moist that I would have to blot any excess off. So I'm on the fence about this, at the moment I would not buy it again, but it does have some redeeming qualities.
Have this one in the pot with no SPF. It's okay, but nothing special. Reminds me of thick vanilla-mint scented vaseline. For a few bucks more, I will buy the petting pink tinted lip conditioner because I like the smell and texture better.
Love the scent and texture. It sinks nicely into my lips, and have noticed that my lips aren't flakey anymore. I have the one int he pot, so I'll get the balm later.
This product works great and really moisturizes lips. Good for preparing lips for lip color. I use this under lipstick or lip gloss since my lips tend to get dry and flaky without it. The consistency is almost like thick vaseline.
Like the previous reviewer, I wasn't very impressed with this. It's not for very chapped lips; it's really more to prep your lips for lipstick. The consistency is too thin to do much for chapped lips. For chapped lips, I prefer Cococare Cocoa Butter Lip Balm, which is only 99 cents at Walgreens.
