I been looking for eyeliner for quite a while but didn't want to pay the price. So I read all the reviews here and decided to search for this eyeliner. To my surprice (and please don't be jealous) I walked in to a 99 cent store and there it was for 0.99 cents a full rack of L'oreal eyeliner. The only thing is that they didn't have the full variety of colors but however for .99 cents, who cares!! They only had it in brown. So guess how many I bought? I bought $20.00 worth of eyeliners not only for me but for friends and family. I love this one - it goes on smooth, its rich in color, it has that texture of a liquid eyeliner but it is such much better. Plus it doesn't smudge. Love it. I also bought the Le Kohl Pencil also by L'Oreal, which is also very good - I love the one in Smoke.
I love this pencil. I hate using liquid eyeliner, so this was an awesome alternative. It goes on smoothly and you do not need to rub and tug on your eyes. The color is very opaque as well.
Love this pencil. It one step up from the intense. Its not 100% waterproof but it comes close. This blows all the UD 24/7 and MAC powerpoint pencils out there. Its so easy to glide on and such a pigmented dramatic effect without layering dark gel liner from a pot or wetting black shadow cake liners to death. It sets within a second. I got the black and its a matte black-- no shine or shimmer. Its not sticky or irritating to the eyes. Loves it!
This product is a dupe for Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencils formula-wise. I used only the UD pencils for almost a year before using this product, so I am very familiar with the formula. It is a creamy, soft pencil that glides over the lid without any skips or bumps or pulling, which is perfect for older lids that tend to be crepey. I am 37, so my skin isn't exactly perfectly elastic any more, and this pencil is just as forgiving as the UD. As for staying power, this product has it. My most grueling test was when I wore it all day (as in 12 hours) in 90+ degree temps in the coastal Southeast, which included a 5 hour stay at the beach and plenty of sunscreen application, sweating, and getting wet. It faded a *teeny* bit at the corners, but that's it. No smudging or racoon eyes, either. If you like the UD 24/7 pencils, but don't like glitter or are looking for something without glitter, this is for you. It is an exact dupe, minus the glitter, simply put. One caveat: a good sharpener is a necessity with this product, as it is too soft for a "normal" e/l sharpener. I went ahead and bought the UD grindhouse sharpener, as other sharpeners did nothing but eat away at the product. Will definitely repurchase, as this is an excellent drugstore find. Well done, L'Oreal!
I was so pleasantly surprised by this eyeliner! I have tried many low and high end eyeliners, and I can truly say that this is my favorite. It glides on so smoothly, and actually shows up on my oily lids! Perfection in a pencil. My favorite color out of the bunch is Plum. It is a very dark purple that just makes my eyes pop! I get so many compliments when I wear this color! LOVE it! Highly recommend this eyeliner, in every color!!
I heard about this eyeliner from the Marie Claire Miracle Beauty Products That Will Change Your Life list. This piqued my interest because I like pencil eyeliner for a soft, blended line and the staying power of liquid eyeliner. I have oily/combination skin and I struggle with eyeliner smearing and migrating into the lower eye area. This eyeliner glides on smoothly and blends well with a fingertip. It does not travel or smudge and it lasts all day without breaking up into little flakes or becoming chalky. For a every-day, daytime look I use the gray instead of the black which is actually more of a soft black than gray. In my opinion, this product lasts longer and is smoother than MAC Powerpoint eyeliners which I was a huge fan of before I discovered L'Oreal Liquid Pencil. I will miss the Powerpoint plum color, but I wear black and brown more often. Thanks Marie Claire!
This eyeliner is alway sold out, for good reason. I finally managed to find one in black, and it's WAY darker and blacker than UD 24/7 Zero. If you doubt it, take a look at the pics posted: the first one is this EL, the second is UD Zero (yes, believe it), and the third one is an Avon EL just for kicks. Too bad this is not wateproof because the lasting power is not extreme. Still, I prefer this one way more than UD Zero. Swatch 'em both next to each other & you'll see how much blacker this one is. continued >>
I have problem eyes: hooded asian monolids. Which means that pretty much all eyeliners transfer and smudge on me. This did after 4-5 hrs, which for me makes this one of the best pencil liners out there.
I have this in brown and in color, hue, pigment, it looks exactly like the Milani Liquif pencil in brown. This smudged and transferred slower than the Milani but I still got racoon eyes all the same.
BTW, I only line my upper lash because of my problem eyes. continued >>
I bought this last week, and actually I wasn't expecting much from it, but WOW did it blow me away.
I am currently using Revlon Colorstay Pencil and it's the best pencil I've used so far, but it still smudges because I laugh A LOT and the eyeliner on my upper eyelids always gets on the lower corner of my eyes after a few hours.
But this pencil is different,
1. this DOES NOT smudge! I love the control of a pencil, but all pencils smudge somewhat, So this is exactly what it is, a liquid pencil!!!
2. You don't need a waterproof one for this, I tried hard to smudge it with water and not much came off.
3. I bought the black one and the color is BLACK! just the black I needed, not light at all.
4. AGAIN It DOES NOT smudge!!!
However, you do need to wait a little bit after applying to let it dry.
I'm so glad that I discovered this, and it will replace my Revlon colorstay eyeliner for sure!
LOVEEEE! WOWWWWW, this is actually the ONLY eyeliner that i have tried that hasn't smudged on my eyes.. and my eyes are usually watery, and other liners usually smears into my innercorners, the outer corners, and even under my eyes, THIS STAYS PUT! Its SUPER black but it looks great, and its soooooo smoth to apply! The price was quite expensive.. $13.99 at my local candian drugstore (SDM) BUT WORTH THE PRICE.
