I had heard a lot of buzz about Coral Reef, so when I saw it in KMart (every other store I checked was out of it), I snapped it up. I'm not an orange or coral person, and I was a little leary. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this coral looks great on me, especially now that I have a little bit of tan. I do agree with the review who said that because it's opaque, you can't just swipe and go, but have to blend it. With that said, it is still a quality lip gloss in a gorgeous flattering color. So glad I bought it.
I love coral colors. I saw this at a local Walgreens and bought it with no hesitation. Too bad my lips are super pigmented, so the color doesn't show up too well, but I just use a nude lipstick under. The consistency is wonderful and doesn't feel like a drug store brand at all!
I am a big fan on the Super Lustrous Lipglosses. I saw this new color on a display at Walgreens & thought it might be pretty. Its just not right on me; makes me look like a clown. Its just too bright & a bit sheer. It is probably better for people that arent fair skinned.
This is probably one of my favorite lipglosses. It's creamy, well pigmented, so shiney, and isn't sticky. This particular color is AMAZING. It last just at long as other lipglosses but maybe a llittle bit longer. Even when the shine is gone your lips are still pigmented. I wear just by itself! The color that you see outside of the packaging is very true to what it looks like on. The only thing is i wish it had a brush tip instead but For 5.99...well you just can't beat that!
-not shimmery at all
-love the packaging (comes with doe-foot applicator)
-very flattering coral color
-easy to use and wear
-not too sticky, but just enough so it won't slide right off
-it's a bit expensive for drugstore but definitely worth it!
I'm afraid to say I do not like this product very much. I was very excited when I saw it in the shop and as it was a new colour thought I'd give it a go. It's very hard to get the colour on your lips in the right balance, to stop it looking like you've got huge orange streaks across your lips, you have to do a good job of blending it out and can't just swipe over your lips and go. Once blended out the colour is ok, but I'm not overly impressed and it would be too much fuss maintaining it throughout the day. Won't be buying this again!
So glad i finally got this! The color is very pigmented for a lip gloss. Its a peachy orange color that is semi opaque if you do about 2 coats and is a sheer orange color w/ just one coat. But the color is sooo cute perfect for spring/summer. Also this is my first time trying a Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss, and they are not sticky at all, thank god! cuz i hate sticky lip glosses! this gloss also last quite a while & is pretty moisturizing too! Even when it somewhat wears off, your lips still feel hydrated & the orange color kinda gives a semi stain too so again when it starts to wear off your lips they still look slightly orange. All in all very good gloss right here and the color you see in the tube is the color you get on your lips. :)
Another winner! I'm much more of a pink lipstick/lipgloss girl and I'll admit most coral/orangish lip colors slightly frighten me. But i think this is a good baby step to trying out the trend for summer. And i actually liked it on my cool skin tone a lot more than i thought i would!
This was the last one in Walmart and since it's limited edition (I think so anyway), I just needed to grab it before it was sold out.
It really looks good if you apply this over Maybelline Colorsentational lipstick in Coral Crush.
Great Color!!! Out of all the colors in the collection. I like Coral Reef and Peach Petal the best for my skin tone. This color is creamy and i think i will buy back up =)
