Wow, this was crappy. Left an ugly white cast to my lips, didn't do anything to help heal any existing chapping and did even less to prevent any more.
I was totally taken in by the cute packaging. Shame on me!
Great lip balm....I love the fact that its all natural ingredients...no petroleum or other chemicals.
And yes, the cool tingly feeling is delightful!
This is the best lip balm I've ever used, and I've used a LOT. It keeps my lips so soft. I absolutely love the tingly feeling from the peppermint oil, although my boyfriend hates it...he has sensitive skin and to him it feels more like a burning sensation, so unfortunately I have to either stop using this balm or stop kissing him. :) So be warned - the peppermint tingle is strong, and may not be the best choice for people who are sensitive to that kind of thing. Otherwise, this is a fantastic lip balm.
I especially love the tingly feeling of Burt's Bees, especially in winter. Great for moisturizing chapped lips. Definatly should purchase and keep on your purse or cosmetic bag. great for applying before putting on lip sticks or glass for that extra moisture.
I'd buy it again because I like the minty tingle and the moisturizing...at the time. My lips did seem drier after I stopped wearing it.
Its really, really minty smells like i just poped a altoid in my mouth . when you lick it the flavor is just the sam. this is was I regularly use now. not sticky at all. its a powerfully minty balm, gotta love it.
Love this stuff! love the peppermint in it, love the consistency! it's something i always reach for...way better than those wax-flavored Chapstick brand ones!
I don't like this lipbalm at all. I makes my lips seem drier and more chapped. The thing I hate about it most is the dry texture/consitency which makes it difficult to apply. It is not smoothe at all and it is not very moisturzing and it makes my lips feel waxy and dry. I thought it may have been the particular balm I bought, but I have tried a second one with the same problem. The Honey one is the same too. I also have the tin which is a little better as far as smoothe consistency, but my lips still seem dry.
