IMO Cinnamon Buns is one of the best smelling Philosophy 3-in-1s... however, I quickly learned that liking the smell of Cinnamon Buns is not the same as wanting to smell like a Cinnamon Bun. I have the Birthday Cake 3-in-1 and never noticed a lingering smell of it on my skin after I got out of the shower; however, I find I am constantly smelling Cinnamon Buns on myself if I use it in the morning, especially if I wash my hair with it, which to me, is not very pleasant -- and definitely doesn't go with my usual perfume. I also found that using this every day made my skin somewhat itchy, but I don't have that problem if I only use it now and then. I do like it, and I plan to use it this winter, when smelling like a Cinnamon Bun might be more welcome. :-)

I love this scent. It smells exactly like you would expect. It is rich, and moisturizing- although I too would never consider using it on my hair, probably because it just seems odd to me, not because I think it wouldn't work. I for one really liked the fact that the scent didn't stick around on my skin- that wa yI can enjoy my morning shower, but not be tied to matching a perfume to this every day. I don't especially like the packaging- my cap breaks almost every time I buy a bottle of shower gel from philosophy, regardless of the scent.

This smells delicious! This is a great body wash--especially for cold winter mornings. It's a comforting scent to wake up to. It can double as shaving cream in a pinch. It's too heavy for me to use as a shampoo/conditioner, though.

Okay, I simply love the scent of this (I'm a sucker for anything that smells like cinnamon). The price is okay, something to splurge on every once and awhile. I can really see myself repurchasing, as it also makes a good hair wash. (NOTE: To the reviewers here who were annoyed that the scent doesn't linger on skin: The woman who owns philosophy and overlooks the making of each product, Cristina Carlino, says the scent is not supposed to linger on skin, it's simply for an enjoyable scent experience in the shower or bath).

I bought this wanting to love it so bad, but came away with three words: WASTE OF MONEY. Yeah, sure, it smells fantastic (that's what kept it from being a 1-lippie product for me) but it leaves NO fragrance behind on me, whatesoever. Why would I spend extra money on something that toutes itself as smelling like cinnamon buns, when it only smells that way in the bottle? I'm really pissed at myself over this purchase, because I think it is the biggest ripoff I've ever been sold.

Very yummy scent ... smells like cinnamony frosting and gives me a sweet tooth when I wash with it. Pretty moisturizing too ... wouldn't use it as shampoo though.

Smells really good but doesn't leave any scent on your skin. Horrible as a shampoo as well. What a waste of money. The packaging needs improvement - the squeeze top forces you to pour out tons more product than you need. Why is this product being rated so highly when the scent doesn't even linger on your skin?

I LOVE the philosophy three-in-ones. As far as performance goes, they get me clean, and I've had no problem using them on my hair, in fact, my favorite thing about them is how the smell lingers a bit in my hair. Cinnamon Buns smells awesome! My husband smelled my hair and said "Mmmm...cinnamon." It does smell more like the icing than the bun, but I'm totally down with the icing smell. Like another reviewer, I don't really love to EAT cinnamon rolls, but I love the smell, so this is like having a nice walking-by-cinnabon experience in the shower. I find that I can smell it the most when I'm shampooing with it, but maybe that's just because I shampoo first. The smell doesn't linger on my body, but that's fine, because few shower gels do, so I don't think it's a realistic expectation, and I like to wear perfume and this would clash with most of them. I really don't mind the price, considering that ounce-for-ounce it's the same as Victoria's Secret shower gel, and you can get free shipping from drugstore.com if you spend $25. My only complaint is that the hole in the cap is too big and if I don't squeeze out a big "glop" it gets sucked back into the bottle. Sometimes you just need a little bit to do your back! And a warning to those with sensitive skin, this DID irritate my skin a wee bit, not surprising considering that cinnamon is a known skin irritant. I just had an itchy back for a few minutes after getting out of the shower--the same itch that some cinnamony perfumes give me--but I'm sure it could be worse for those who are more easily irritated.

After lemming this for many months, I finally caved and ordered this for the free gwp on philosopy.com and am so glad i did! This smells so yummy-just like cinnamon frosting! This will definitely be on rotation with my other shower gels!

I got the entire set as a gift and while they do smell good I hate the fact that the smell is gone once you exit the shower. I prefer a scent that actually lasts even a tiny bit. I just didn't care for the non-existant smell once you close the cap. I personally don't think it's worth it. You can get the same stuff but better lingering scents from Bath and Body Works & Victorias Secret.
