I love this moisturizer! I have sebhorreic dermatitis and suffer with flair-ups of red, irritated skin on my face. This moisturizer does what it says calming my skin and taking away redness. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and the redness on my face has diminished drastically and leaves my face feeling very soft and non-greasy.
I will definitely buy this again!
Alright, so I'm a huge fan of Dr Leslie Baumann's work. Sunscreens should do more than just protect you from the sun. This one does several tasks of having SPF, moisture, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties without being greasy. It's good enough protection for my work days, not irritating for my skin using Tazorac .05% gel. I'm only on the 2nd day of use and my skin feels a lot softer, comfortable and less red. I'm beginning to realize I need some moisture during the day for my combination skin or else my face just feels tight and irritated. It is kind of dry where I live. I can live with a little shine later in the day for that kind of comfort after getting dried out from the gel version of Tazorac, which I recently switched to. Now, if I could find an all in one high spf, water resistant sunscreen to wear for days with more exposure I'd be set. I'm really shocked that the organic filters in this don't irritate my skin. I love this product! Oddly enough I love the smell.
This product works great when your skin is dry from the harsh winter weather. It didn't make my oily acne prone skin feel oily or make me break out. Left my skin smooth and glowing all day.
I have been using this product almost everyday for a little more than a week and so far I'm very pleased. I have pretty good skin overall, but I do have some slightly red areas on my cheeks and chin. I noticed significant improvement within 2 days, and now I don't even need foundation to cover the red...just a little powder. It goes on very smooth, absorbs well, and it has not made my skin oily at all. I am using this along with Aveeno Positively Radiant Pads, which I have been using for about 2 months now and also very pleased with.
bought this product because sometimes after i breakout my face is slightly red. compared to other drugstore moisturizer with spf this product is not on the cheap side.after my first use my face felt itchy. because it is not cheap i tried it for another week, after that my face became more red and i developed more acne.

Very simple pump bottle packaging, which in my opinion is not very practical for this specific product. Lists the product name, ingredients, directions, and comes in an off-white plastic colour. Aesthetically, it's quite bland, but it does the job well enough. My biggest gripe is that you have to scrape the sides as you get to the bottom, and there's at least a quarter of the product still left on the sides!
Consistency and Smell:
This lotion has a thicker, greasier, yet still creamy and light feel to it. It definitely felt heavy on my skin, and never completely soaked in. It also left a noticeable white cast to my skin and left it feeling kind of sticky and gross most of the time. I can't really distinguish what the scent of this product was, but I do remember not being very fond of it. While it wasn't very strong, it didn't go unnoticed.
Bang for your Buck:
At close to $20.00 a bottle, it's definitely a pricier drug store option. While not much needs to be used, it is still quite a bit of money being spent for a product that really creates a lot of issues.
As with the majority of products designed for sensitive skin, this product is terribly thick and greasy. I did not notice any decrease in redness on my face, which can become irritated when it becomes too dry, and it did break me out. For a brand that claims to be great for sensitive skin, I'd think they'd switch to physical sunblock ingredients as many are sensitive to chemical one. Not a good choice for my skin, and would not recommend. I think it actually caused some irritation as well.

I LOVE this product. At last I have found a moisturizer that doesn't leave me with white bumps every where or have a greasy shine! It moisturizes really well (without giving an oily look) and the redness actually has gone away on my cheeks. If you have super red cheeks from rosacea or other heath issues, I wouldn't expect this to be a miracle since it's not designed to be a cure. Also-- It feels really nice, it has a thicker consistency than a lot of facial lotions. My only gripe about this stuff is the price (about 15 bucks, so at the top of drug store price if you don't count in the anti-aging lines) and it smells a bit like sunscreen mixed with the normal aveeno scent. Other than that, it is my new HG definitely worth the price in my opinion.
I needed a moisturizer with a sunscreen since I'm always running late in the morning. I heard good things about Aveeno so I decided to give it a shot. I read the back of the moisturizers and decided on this one. Why? It's suppose to calm your skin and reduce redness. It actually didn't reduce the redness and once applied it left my skin greasy. I did finish it up cause I did pay like $14 for it. I would have to say it did last me a while. I'd say about 5 months but I did have difficulty in the end getting product out with the pump. I just turned it over and opened the bottle and dumped in my hand.
This is an essential staple in my beauty routine. Especially during winter.
I have combination skin that is extremely sensitive, breaks out spontaneously and gets painfully dry. This lovely oat colored cream eased my problems. This moisturizer will give your skin all the LOVING it needs.
I have very pale skin with redness on my nose and chin. I also get flaky in these areas too. So far this product has reduced my redness and flakiness without causing me to break out. The SPF is a bit low, but this product is definitely working for me!
