This is a really good daily moisturizer - and I generally can't use *anything* as even the lightest moisturizers leave me shiny, but if you use this *in* the shower when your face is still moist, and use a TINY drop, it'll sink nicely into your face and not leave you looking like an oil slick later in the day; I do use mineral powder over it, so that helps. But I use this in the day and the nighttime one (a little thicker) at night, and feel like my overall skin tone (which generally has a lot of redness) has evened out. Very very nice.

I keep hearing great things about Aveeno products but this was a disappointment. After application it leaves a slight stinging feeling in my skin that fades after a minute or two. I was surprised by that since the name is "ultra-calming" and it is meant to soothe irritated or sensitive skin. If I'm buying moisturizer at the drug store, I'll go back to Oil of Olay

For some reason, I love the design of the pump on this bottle. Very sleek and easily lockable. And kind of expensive unless you find it on sale.

As for the effectiveness, I am overjoyed to say it hasn't yet reacted horribly with my skin or made me very oily. I have an oily base with a dry surface and anything that cures the dry surface would either make me very oily in a couple of hours or make me break out in whiteheads. It seems to make my face slightly less oily and less dry and flaky. Yay.

I was afraid of feeling waxy like the aveeno body lotion, but there was nothing to worry about. The texture is creamy while being airy and easily melts on your skin. Not as easily spreadable like other waterier lotions. And sometimes I think I'm putting too much on one area. Sinks in fairly easily and doesn't leave you feeling more greasy.

Will update if there is an improvement in the redness of my face.

I have sensitive skin that turns red with the slightest irritations. This moisturizer has reduced the irritability of my skin and has reduced my use of hydrocortisone or eczema cream. The SPF component doesn't cause irritation to my skin like some other daytime moisturizers.
It absorbs well into my skin if I spend time massaging my face and is moisturizing enough even in winter time. The fragrance isn't too strong either. Although it is pricer than some of the other drugstore moisturizers, I've had good results with this moisturizer.

I really love this moisturizer. The fragrance is light and doesn't bother me. This lotion moisturizes my skin very well, and I think it has actually decreased the redness of my skin. It absorbs quickly, and is oil free.

That being said, this lotion makes my face so shiny! It's oil free. When I use this, even with makeup, my face gets greasy-looking within two hours (this is just sitting around, not physical activity). I hate having a shiny face, so I probably would either try a mattifying primer before this lotion, or try another of Aveeno's face lotions before I repurchase this one.

it's okay. it wasnt great. i was going to go and get the positivel radiant, until i just looked at the reviews....off to find another moisturizer. it didnt last that long either. my clean and clear morning burst moisturizer lasted me like 2 years...andi used a lot. this one lasted a few months, and was more expensive.

I got this after using up my purpose redness relief daily moisturizer spf30, reading on magazines on how good it is. One disappointment it gave me is that it has fragrance, though only a little, but my skin doesn't feel much comfortable after using it. I noticed that my skin is less irritated and red when I was using purpose than using this. It's autumn now and I don't get enough moisture as I wanted to get (purpose has a thicker texture), maybe I'll use this in the summer. Now I'm going to try Eucerin, hopefully it has a thicker texture.

I adore this moisturizer! My skin looked less irritated after the first use, and I love that it has SPF. It smells good, too. The only con is that it sometimes makes my face look a little greasy, but it moisturizes so well that I can overlook it.

This is a good moisturizer for the price. My skin is pretty sensitive, and many products tend to make it itch. This is very gentle. I don't think it reduces redness, however.

This is by far the worst moisturizer, that I have ever used. I bought this thinking that it would help out with my rosacea, but I was definitly wrong. It did nothing for my redness and it left an extremely greasy feeling on my face that would not go away. Not only did it irritate my skin more, but it also caused me to break out, also expensive. Would not repurchase!
