I've used Hypnose and Flexticils. This mascara is good at lengthening and curling. It doesnt clump nor give volume, but it does give the illusion that you are wearing fake lashes. I prefer this over Hypnose because i found hypnose to be a bit too clumpy for my liking. I would compare this L'extreme to be very similar to Flexticils

i get a sample of the L-extrem Mascara from Macy's, the characteristic of this mascara is make your lash longer, and it works perfectly at this point. this mascara will not give volume on your lash, so you should buy other Lancome mascara that can volume up your lash.I perfer waterproof mascara, it can stay longer.

I got a sample of this from Sephora, and I'm not that crazy about it. It did make my lashes look longer, and there was no clumping, but it did flake off onto my cheeks. I'll stick to my trusty Full N Soft.

I am impressed with the quality of this mascara. I normally wear either Estee or Red Earth and received this as a GWP. Although I have fairly good lashes, I was amazed with the 'false lash' look this mascara delivers. Lots of length, curl, and absolutely no clumping. What really surprises me is the lack of good reviews here on this mascara. If it were just for the reviews, here I would have never purchased. Glad I did though.

I saw so many magasine ads for this mascara that i thought i had to give it a go. I love it so much and hopefully it means that i have found my HG mascara:D It was really good at lengthening and defining my lashes, and gives it some volume too. Even though my lashes were really long and wowww (i have normal length lashes) it still looked very natural and did not smudge all day. I got the same effect from a few coats of this mascara as a few coats of Estee Lauder Lash LX plus Chanel Inimitable, so i'm very pleased with it. Oh and the packaging is very pretty too.

I received a sample of L'Extreme in my Sephora Cirque bag. I thought I was really going to like this mascara when I first put it on my lashes; it seperated, kept the curl and added some volume and length. However, the staying power stinks because after a few hours my lashes looked like I had nothing on them. I really don't understand how that could happen because I've never had that issue with any other mascaras. I prefer Hypnose.

This is a very good lenghting mascara. I like the natrual look, but as with all Lancôme mascaras you can always add more volume if you want, with the brush. Lancômes mascaras is really awesome, I just want to try more!

I first have to say that I was not a Lancome's mascara fan. I used and absolutly hated Hypnose and Fatale. But I'm such a sucker for new products that I had to try L'Extrême after seeing the great packaging. I'm sure glad I did! I have long and full lashes already so I was just looking for definition, not volume. It's great for that. It didn't clump on me at all. The only thing is that this mascara is really liquid so you have to be carefull when aplying it. I use it in combination with cils booster xl when I go out for a fake lashes look.

Oh my GOD! I can't believe I didn't try this mascara before. I discovered L'Extreme in a free gift and tried it on this morning,wow! I know this supposed to be a lengthening mascara, but I could swear it thickens my lashes
too!I have been using Hypnose, but I think I have been buying the wrong mascara
for my lashes. By the way, I have small almond shape eyes with very short brown
thick lashes and brown eyes,don't know if it is the black color of this mascara,but it makes my eyes look amber! I going right now to buy the regular
size!
