One of my night-time sexy perfumes, or for days when I feel like dressing up a little. It's a warm, heavy scent that lingers. Don't pile it on, because you wouldn't be doing yourself any favours! One of the better Lancome perfumes. I would buy this again, but it would be limited to a small bottle.
I generally dislike Lancome's fragrances yet this one is a rare exception... I can tolerate its smell on others but wouldn't purchase it for myself. Very powdery and a little old-ladyish, even in the bottle's design. I'd imagine a librarian wearing this fragrance.
Wow...I used to wear this many moons ago..I actually still have a bottle of it with the fragranced body lotion and decided it was time to crack it open and wear...
Actually...I guess my tastes have changed a bit...because now I am not so in love with it..at all...
It isn't offensive really..but for me, it isn't really that fabulous anymore either..I don't get the apricot/lilac notes at all...I only get the oriental notes..which are a bit on the heavy side. Don't get me wrong..heavy perfumes aren't all terrible...I actually still wear Magie Noire and THAT is a love/hate fragrance...
Tresor is a good fragrance..a tried and true fragrance...but I guess I have just outgrown it...but I am glad so many people still enjoy it.I, myself, have moved on.
Tresor is lovely , sweet, apricote'ly. Wintertime scent for me, most synthetic perfumes make me nauseus. It's said, that this scent is for 'older' ladies, but I totally disagree. Men love it too. I guess that those usual popular 'sunny' floral perfumes (like Miracle, Poeme,J'Adore, Happy etc.) are not enough sophisticated for my taste and bodychemistry.
Tresor is the most soft beautiful perfume Ive ever tried, its my favorite and lasts a long time, but not over powering.I'd say 1 of the best out there.Definately will buy it forever.
I have not worn this in a while, but when I have ... I got a heap of compliments. It smells sooo good and sweet - just the way I like my perfumes.
Anyway, it is not overpowering and the scent is lasting.
Would repurchase again.
I have a real soft spot for Tresor, I was on holiday in Paris when it first came out and encountered it in the fragrance hall of Printemps. It will always remind me of that beautiful city. So my review is probably a bit biased. Also I am a sucker for anything with rose in it. I think of Tresor as a very light, feminine, sweetly seductive scent. It doesn't last too long on me sadly and I think it smells a little dated now. But it's head and shoulders above loads of the fruity florals that are about at the moment. Long may it continue.
I like Tresor, it's a fun fragrance.
In the summer I like to wear the lotion only. It smells really good, and it is much lighter than the EDP or EDT.
Well, I am reviewing this again, but for the EDT version instead (Tresor "Light"). Now this is more like it! Tresor EDP smelled gorgeous, but it turned very sweet on me, and I think it may have been the roses. I was told by a lady who worked at a Lancome counter, that the EDT does not contain the top notes of the EDP. That's all my body chemistry needed, because it smells delicious on me now! It starts out peachy and soft with some white floral mixed in there somewhere, and after two hours, it smells like a warm, soft, and non-foody vanilla. So beautiful! I'm so excited about this, because Tresor is such a feminine, sensual, and classy scent, that I was a bit disappointed that the EDP didn't work too well on me. So, for those like me who thought the EDT was just the less concentrated version of the EDP, you're wrong! :) The bottle is so pretty too, and it retails at $45 for the 1.7oz. Not sure about the 3.4 oz.
EDITED 12/23/04: Okay, it seems like the EDP smells good on me now too! Maybe I had a chemistry change? Either way, I did notice that the original EDP ends up drying down to the exact same scent as the EDT. The only difference is that they begin/open a bit differently, with the EDP having more rosy-ness. If I get a gift card to a department store for Christmas, I'll be buying Tresor. My sig. scent has become Pleasures by Estee Lauder, but Tresor seems like it would be a beautiful evening scent, especially with its great sillage and lasting power.

this fragrance took a rather peculiar turn on me- once i sprayed this stuff on, it smelled for hours quite strongly of alcohol- as if i was a closet alcoholic trying to hide what i had been doing the night before. based solely on that, i would not repurchase.
