I use this with my clarisonic, after oil-cleansing. I don't' really trust it to take off my heavy physical sunscreen. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean, and it lasts for absolutely ages. Great value for money. Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, I am looking for something slightly more moisturising during winter though. I'll go back to this when the weather isn't so harsh.

I got this product from a giveaway I won and I must say that I love it. I use it after I use a exfoliating face wash, or when I'm breaking out. It really calms my skin and reliefs the redness that I have. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and there really is no smell to it but it relaxes me. Overall a good product and I'm almost done with my bottle and will re-purchase as soon I'm done with it.

have purchased over 150 ounces of this product over time. i have acne prone, combination skin and use this every night with my Clarisonic. i use this first (2 pumps) to "melt" the majority of my face and eye makeup, then use another few pumps with my clarisonic. removes everything well. the thing that stands out the most for me about purity is the fact that it is so gentle on my skin, yet eliminates all products that i use on my face (i wear primer, foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, highlight, eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick). what's really cool about it is that this has no "acne" type ingredients (i.e. salicylic acid, BP) but my skin is clear of breakouts, most likely i feel because of the awesome job this cleanser (with my clarisonic) effectively removes all of my makeup. will continue to repurchase most likely forever, and it is kinda pricey, i usually get it off of QVC, 32 ounces at a time.

I bought the sample size of this at Sephora and I was really excited to try it because everyone was raving over it, but I was disapointed because it wasn't amazing. It's gentle and got rid of most of my makeup, but left my skin feeling sort of dry. The scent is also something you either love or hate. It smells like your traditional soap. I personally don't mind. Overall, this product was a 3/5

PROS
Leaves my skin soft
Takes off ALL my makeup

CONS
Left a subtle dry effect on my skin (and my friends when she tried it)
Kind of smells like soap, so it probably could be better but then again the whole idea is “purity”

I bought a larger version because it does such an amazing job at taking off my makeup, and I’m not afraid there is still foundation on my face after this.
I have to go in with an acne treatment after though since this wont take care of acne, then again, it doesn't promise to.

I would recommend this to anyone who wears foundation or other makeup daily.

I love the smell of this. It is a very gentle yet effective cleanser. Its claim is that it cleanses and tones in one step. I still like to use toner regardless. Altho it is effective i find it a little difficult to rinse off. But i would buy it again just for the smell alone.

Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily, Dark, Neutral Hair: Brown, Relaxed, Medium Eyes: Brown

I used Purity for a while and found that it worked great - but was not enough on it's own to combat my oily skin and blackheads. I was still having to use tons of other blemish and oil fighting products and considering how much this stuff costs I couldn't justify using it and switched to something with more oil fighting chops.

After I developed adult acne I had to switch to an intense BP regime which was seriously drying out my skin. It was dull and felt awful. I decided to go back to the Purity Made Simple because it was so gentle and never produced the 'tight' feeling. The acne treatments are still working and since I've switched to Purity my skin feels much softer and more luminous.

Overall - if you have oily but not blemish prone skin this cleanser is not going to be strong enough. But if your skin is dry and/or sensitive this stuff works great. I personally love the smell it is soft and vaguely herbal. This stuff if perfect with my Clarisonic because it doesn't foam much, so it doesn't end up in my eyes and mouth, and since the thick creamy cleanser maintains it's texture during use it helps the Clarisonic glide smoothly on my skin, no tugging.

My skin has been going through some sensitivity issues and is happy with just about nothing anymore, I put this aside when that problem started and was using Caudalie Gentle Cleanser. Due to the Caudalie's sub-par cleansing and lack of foaming action, I picked up the PMS again and was extremely pleased with the contrast. It cleans my skin effectively and gently and does not set my fussy skin off. It is a little pricey, but you need so little that it lasts forever. Would definitely repurchase.

I have very, very sensitive skin, eczema, acne, etc. This product is nice because it doesn't irritate my skin. The smell is great. I just feel it doesn't get my skin as clean as other cleansers. I use this with my Clarisonic MIA 2, however I prefer using the Neutrogena exfoliating acne control face scrub. I have since passed this on to my SO, he really likes it.

I understand this cleanser works for many, but it does not work for me. I have dry skin, and this dries it out some more. Although it is recommended for all skin type, I think it is more suitable for normal, combo, or oily skin. Immediately after my shower, my skin feels tight and it also starts flaking. I got this from my bestfriend, although I love her, I don't love this gift in particular.
