Very pretty, natural color. Long listening and I like the package! It is expensive however.
I wanted a new blusher for my makeup bag and saw that this blusher had been highly recommended.I have quite a light skin tone so when i use this is does stand out, however this blusher is long lasting and doesnt fade during the day.The pacakeing is very inconvinient and take up alot of uneeded space in my makeup bag. This product came up to strong for me and the packaging was unessecarry so i would have to rate this product low.
I'm NC 25 and this is my HG pink blush. it's a ballerina pink with gold sheen. I initially thought it would be too light on me or too cool but I was wrong, because it gave me such a beautiful, glowy pink flush, and the color is just perfect. I think the gold sheen gave it warmth to make it suitable for my Asian skintone. I can pair it with a variety of lip colors and it would show up pink or even a bit peachy on me. I do a couple of swipes though but it's not an issue because the color is sheer, buildable and impossible to overdo. Also, with 10g of product it's still gonna last me a while! I'm so glad Benefit is not discontinuing this.
Dandelion is expensive, as far as blushes go.. but it lasts a long time! The packaging is cute, but takes up a bit of room in my cosmetics bag. Dandelion is light, but gives my fair skin a nice glow. If I feel like I need a little more colour, I usually add another blush on top, such as Nars Orgasm, but Dandelion is great for when you feel like a fresh-faced look, but your skin needs a little more oomph! :) I will definitely repurchase!
My go to, fool proof, hands down favorite blush! I'm so pale that I look dead without blush, but it's also super hard to find a blush that doesn't look artificial or clowny. This blush is so sheer, I can put it on without a mirror if I have to. The price is ridiculous and the package is of course annoying, not to mention the useless "brush" that it comes with, but the color is so good that I'm willing to overlook those things and still give it 5 lippies.
I generally love Benefit products, but this one is just "ehh" to me. I have a neutral undertone and a medium skin tone (on a scale of 1-10, probably a 4), but this product does not show up on me. I don't understand how it is marketed as a blush, it has very little pigmentation. That being said, I do like the smell of it and wish I could've made this product work.
Now that I'm getting close to 50, any product with the word "brightening" in it gets my attention. I also thought the little box was darn cute. My husband saw me playing with this at Sephora and bought it for a b-day gift. I tried every which way but loose to make this product work for me, to no avail. First, the good: The box is cute...if you have a dressing table it's definitely display-worthy.
Now, the bad: Box is not user friendly or travel friendly. Brush is cute and looks like it would work, but no. I wear the lightest shade in every foundation, and it still took 4-5 applications to get this to show up on me. (The best method I found was to apply it with a cotton ball, then blend!) After reading reviews on MUA, I tried to use it as an overall "brightener" rather than blush...tried that, didn't see any effect. Next attempt: I tried to use it as powder on T-zone. Nope, didn't work for that either. Last attempt: Can this be used like bronzer, only more pink? No. It took several applications to show up and, when it did, made me look like I had a case of windburn.
I think my major issue with this is price. If it cost $14 or even $18 I'd probably keep it. But $28 is just too much, when I compare it to something like Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess where for $2 more, you get a quality brush, great product that works and substantial packaging that lasts.
Final verdict: This is a very nice, pale pink blush and if you are rolling in dough, you may think it's worth $28. For the rest of us, skip this, buy a Cover Girl blush and keep the change.
I love this blush! I am east indian so a blush is usually a daily thing I wear but I needed something that I could wear during the day. I was worried that it wouldn't show up on my face, but it does. I get just enough colour. I do not use the brush that came with the package. I like the texture, and I like how it comes onto my face.
I love Benefit so much so I might be a little biased. I love the packaging, though it can be bulky and not really travel friendly but I love the boxed blushes and how they sit inside my makeup drawer neat and tidy. The product can also be expensive but you get a lot of product (maybe last for 5 years even...yikes), coz I don't see myself finishing it soon. The blush itself is soft and smooth, easy to apply and blend. The smell is amazing. The color is somewhat matte ballerina pink that exudes "innocence" though may/maynot match all skin tones. Another issue for some people is pigmentation. It is actually very pigmented, I think it just depends on the brush that one is using. I myself use the Ecotools skunk brush that applies very lightly on the cheeks. A hint of pink on my cheeks is all I need especially when I go to work.
I love the product. The color looks amazing on anyone. But...man! Talk about messy packaging...I will be on a hunt for a new blush when I'm done...unfortunately/fortunately? It looks like a long time from now...
