I often have trouble with blending other eyeshadow colors, but not with this palette. I also like that the colors show up very naturally and it doesn't take a lot of effort to put them on. I usually just follow the color guideline and it looks perfect!
Good quality eyeshadows. Love the shades. I own walking on eggshells, and other wnw icon trios as well. Tried these eyeshadows based on the reviews here. So happy I own them. My favorites right now.
I. Love. This. Palette. Its absolutely perfect for the summer time. WnW makes great shadows- they are so creamy, smooth, and pigmented. They feel soft on my eyelid and glide on very nicely.
-The brow bone shade is great because it is not overly pigmented and just adds a nice shimmer that catches the light in the prettiest way.
-The crease color is the only one that doesn't "wow" me, but I don't hate it. Its just a dark brown with shimmer.
-The LID shade is my fav. It is sorta a dupe for "Sin" by Urban Decay, but with more golden undertones than pink. I like to wear it alone for days when I want to look natural.
This is an awesome palette girls. And for $3.99? You have to get it.
These shadows are amazing quality. The pigmentation is great, and they have just the right amount of shimmer. HOWEVER, on me (and I imagine anyone else with a neutral skintone), the lid shade often pulls too pink or orange, and it's not really the most flattering look. I docked a lippie for this simply because I think it won't work for everyone, and also because of the compact. The shadows sort of powder up inside the compact and when you open it there's this little puff, and that shouldn't happen with pressed shadows. That, and the color, made me dock one lippie. I did say I'd buy again, because I would, since I do quite like it.
The hype about this product is well deserved! Walking on Eggshells is a great neutral palette and fantastic quality for a cheap price! The browbone white shimmery shade is a bit powdery, but all of the shadows are very very pigmented.
For kicks, I swatched the shades next to a couple of my Naked palette shadows and found that a couple matched.
Browbone - Virgin
Crease - Smog
Eyelid - Sin/Toasted (Toasted is a bit darker pink)
LOVE THIS!!!!! It's a perfect neutral look with just the right amount of shimmer. You can create several great looks with this palate and it's perfect for work. Great quality, buttery texture and a little goes a long way.
I'm in love.
I lost count of how many quads and trios and singles and palettes I've bought over the years trying to convince myself that higher end eyeshadows like Mac, mufe, urban decay and etc werent worth the money. Usually cheap eyeshadows look okay in the pan and then look like they're from a kids toy in the eye so I didnt have my hopes one for this one. I was wrong!
First of all they are very smooth and pigmented, it's not like those eyeshadows that look all the same once they're in the eye, these one look exacly like they look in the pan, except I think the finishes are different. Which is a good thing, I like different finishes.
The first shadow is just perfect. It's the perfect highlighter color, and I think it resembles Mac's shroom in a way but it looks more vibrant. It can really open up the eyes.
The middle shadow is interesting because it looks scary for me, because I am super pale, but it goes on very nicely and once blended it looks natural. I also like that it doesn't have a lot on red undertones since those make my eyes look tired and make my undereye circles stand out.
The last shadow is my favorite. I thought I'd hate it because it looks pink and pink can lead to red undertones and that's a full disaster on me but it's perfect. It looks metalic, and almost wet looking which is so hard to find on cheap shadow! It's so pretty for summer and you can wear it alone!
Also I expected a lot of fall off under the eyes but I didn't really notice anything much.
I am so in love with it I think I might get backups and a couple of them to give to friends.
If you love neutrals, give it a try!
I really like the eyelid color. Sometimes I'll just wear that and a bit of eyeliner.
The brown (crease) isn't too pigmented but you can build it up. If you like using eyeshadow to contour your nose this is actually does a pretty good job (and it's surprisingly similar to the brown in one of my nose contour kits)
I really had to buy this after reading the avid reviews of other forum-ers!
After going through great pains to get my hands on this (why u no sell wet n wild in singapore! D: - costs me USD 7 off ebay ): ) I did a swipe and almost fainted!
EXACT DUPES FOR URBAN DECAY'S NAKED PALETTE. WHOA!
Shan't list the dupes since the girls have kindly done so already. I followed the instructions on applying the colours and they look natural. What's more, they package it so it's travel friendly. To somemore who travels and likes to pack light, this is becoming a HG.
This is really cheap (if you live in the US) and becoming one of my favourite DS brands (Revlon will forever be first). So pleaseeeeeee don't be duped by high-end brands MAC or UD and start exploring the awesomeness that is Wet n Wild!
