Love this colour, nice pink nude colour looks good on my NC 35 skin. It's creamy and smooth when applied it is a creamsheen finish. I like this one better then mac's angel lipstick. This is my everyday lipstick would buy again.
Love this color! My fave used to be Angel and now it's Creme Cup because of the formula and it's not as drying as Angel. I wear it alone or with a lipgloss and it makes my lips look so amazing and full. I hope they never discontinue this or I'll have to buy the whole store. hehe
I love the color. It's a shade or two lighter than my natural lip color, so it looks natural but it seems to soften my face. I can see this being worn on its' own or with a variety of other looks.
This looks a little glossy once it goes on, but I thought it was drying after wearing it for a bit.
I really like it and it is the soft pink lippie color I've been looking for. I am NW20 black/brown hair, brown eyes, rosey brown pigmented lips. On me Creme Cup is a nice soft pink color...kind of a gentle petal pink to me. I love this in the winter when I wear a neutral cashmere eye or bronzey eye. There are no brown undertones like Modesty. Nor do there seem to be too heavily yellow undertones. It feels like a true soft pink color. It did not feel porn star, too Barbie or even too teeny bopper. It is the perfect solution for soft lip lovers who want something different than a nude, but still very soft. If you are one that prefers colors with more brown, orange tones in them, this may not be for you. Those colors look awful on me, so this is perfect.
I had a feeling this would make me look washed out, but I was wrong. I'm glad I picked this up. I'm a fair skinned brunette with brown eyes and because its not too much of a blue toned pink, I can pull this off as an every-day type color. I wouldn't call it so much of a MLBB (which is what I usually stick to), but its a nice alternative to that. I find it softens my look. I see myself reaching for this alot for the summer!
I'd probably re-purchase.
This gives that pale pink color on my medium skin. I am nc42 for reference. It's too light for my taste though. It's not as drying as matte finishes but I feel like this is too thick. It's pretty pigmented though. I wear this with partial to pink lipgloss to achieve a more dramatic pale pink color!
I absolutely love it. the best pale pink color, I will buy it again
I'm a nc35 and this looks really pretty on me! :D
Definitely works on alot of skin tones!
I prefer this over angel.
Pretty color but I the Cremesheen formula just doesn't work for me. I don't have dry lips, but for some reason all the Cremesheen lippies make my lips dry, emphasize the lines on my lips and feel icky. Guess I'll stick with the Lustre formula.
Creme Cup is my second favorite Mac pink lipstick, superceded only by the cult favorite made popular by Kim Kardashian - Mac Angel! The colors of these two muted pinks are so similar that you might wonder how to choose which color would work better for your undertones.
As far as I can tell, Creme Cup has a tinge of coral, or perhaps yellow to it, compared to the cotton candy blue pink hue of Angel. It looks a lot more like a "nude" lip on my NW10 icy cool undertones than Angel does. Angel is a clean pink with a hint of beige on me, which seems to go with everything. I reach for Creme Cup when I'm doing warmer eyeshadow looks (those involving eye colors like Mac Go, Sable, etc. - warm on *my* skin at least) vs purples, which pair best with Angel, and even better with Mac Snob lipstick. Creme Cup can make me look a bit more washed out for some reason, so I usually pair it with a muted pink lip pencil underneath to bring some life to the color.
Creme Cup is an easy to wear nude pink, with a nice formula by MAC's standards. It is still drying, and you will need balm under it. I don't notice the difference in formula between Angel (Frost) and Creme Cup (cremesheen) since neither are all that moisturizing. You do have to prep your lips by using balm and exfoliating off the flakies before applying this shade. I would not buy this lipstick again, simply because there are pinky nude lipsticks similar to this with more comfortable, less line-y looking formulas. It's not a slap-on-and-go kind of lipstick for me on those hurried mornings, but it is just lovely for fair skin, complementing smoky eyes and coral pink blushes. You should definitely at least try this color to see how it looks on you.
