I am NW20 and I love to use this as a highlighter, just goes on really naturally and stays all day. Combined with Nars Laguna and MAC's Trace Gold, I get the perfect summery bronze look! This MSF is part of my daily routine now, I was afraid of the shimmer but I'm so glad I bought it! FYI, I apply with a small skunk brush...

The first pic is the most accurate of how this looks. It's a light tan/golden MSF with lots of shimmer, but not glitter. I use this to highlight my cheekbones when im wearing bronzer & its amazing. I sometimes use this as a brow highlight also. The pan is huge. I don't think i will ever run out. I don't think this would work on super pale skin.

I like this highlighter a lot but it isn't my favorite ( my fave is Nars Albatross) The color is a dark champagne color which i think is just a bit too dark for my NC30 complexion. I think this would look a little better on me when i'm tanner, and the color would show up a bit lighter. Either way it looks gorgous in the pan, just make sure not too apply to much because it's a little bit chunky, and can emphasize pores.

I wasn't WOWED in the way I should have been. This was RIS from a wonderful swapper, and I was really excited to try it, but was hugely let down. It made my pores look like the size of Texas, and just gave me a bit of an oily look. My skin is naturally oily, and it's a look I'd like to avoid! I could see it as being a collarbone/chest highlighter, but I wouldn't wear it enough to justify it, so I just decided to swap it. The finish was nice, it felt soft on my skin, but it just didn't work for me.

I really love this as a highlighter (NC35). Looks just perfect and gives me that natural glow. Have already bought a back up!

I love this product, it is a very light bronzer for me. The best way that I have found to use this is on days where I want to wear little make up, some skinfinish natural and this will make you look gorgeous. This is light and so I tend to spray my brush and then apply. This is not something that I use everyday but when I do I am always happy with the results.

I like using this to highlight the bridge of my nose, but when I use it on my cheekbones, I personally find it too glittery. I wish it went on more like a sheen glow instead of shimmery. I probably won't buy again...

do NOT invest in by candlelight (since it is LE) because Soft & Gentle is very similar in comparison. They have the same nice highlight shimmer in them. I couldn't really use this because it made my pores look huge and made me look like a disco ball but for people who love by candlelight, just get this since its in the permanent line of MAC.

This is the only MSF that I own that I use as a highlighter and I find it just OK. I do like it on my cheekbones, but sometimes it just comes off too glittery. Sometimes I put it over my blush for a nice glow and that seems to be pretty. I wasn't as WOWED by it that I should be. I should've returned it for someting else, maybe Perfect Topping?

Held off buying this hoping to find a cheaper dupe. I had noticed many women my age (49) had a dewy glow to their complexions. I put this on the top of cheekbones, nose, chin and forehead. I feel like it lifted my face. I put it on going to the grocery store with no foundation, and it really perked up my face. Wonderful stuff.
