I got this as a sample at sephora. I got it in ivory it is the lightest color. It is yellow based but fine. I love it and use it as concealer or foundation. I would buy it if it went on sale or if I got more allowence. Next time I get my report card and get good grades or win something in my cross country meet I will buy this.
After only two uses, I think I may have found my HG foundation. I have very fair skin with yellow undertones, finding a suitable foundation can be quite a task. Few brands even carry a shade light enough, and even fewer have ones with yellow tones. I love the finish on this, it's very natural looking and does not look like makeup, it looks like good skin. Although the SA at Ulta said this was a full coverage foundation, I would put this more at light to medium. I have not tried it with a primer yet, but wear seems about average, I'd say it's fair to expect about 10-12 hours of wear. This is either lightly fragranced, or fragrance free because I didn't really pick up on a scent. One pump seems to be the perfect amount, if not just a tad much for one application. At $34 a bottle it's a few bucks less than UD Naked, and MUFE HD. I simply love how this looks on.
* EDIT *
If the SA says to you these are all yellow toned, that's incorrect, they are either yellow toned (very warm) or neutral. Petal and Champagne and Beige are yellow toned. Honey on the other hand is pink toned.
For all you yellow-toned girls out there - this is the foundation for you! All in the range are of a yellow base to rival most Japanese or Korean brands, I am just loving it.
I got matched to Beige, which makes me look super yellow and super tanned, just gorgeous (and sorta glamorous)!
Not a day when I'd planned to buy a fdtn, but was sold once I saw how amazing it looked. I am giving it a 4 for price as it cost AU$55 and while that is better than most high end fdtns out at the moment e.g. Shiseido $70, it is still not majorly cheap. A little does go a long way though, and half a pump will do your whole face.
Packaging gets a 5 (which is rare) because it is one of those pumps which pushes product to the top. I have also tried unscrewing the pump (some have to be pried off) which means that when the pump stops working i.e. won't pick up anymore product, I'll be able to pour the remainder out into a pot! Another good thing about this pump - it is completely controllable i.e. you can pump just a drop, a full pump, half a pump, whatever you want! Not one of those pumps which can only do a full pump and nothing else. Yewww!
Most of the reviews on MUA say this is no good for oily skins and I am normal (in winter) so it is working for me. Minor emphasis on pores on the chin and upper lip (over sunscreen), but its definitely worth it given how amazing the rest of the face looks! And this is just a pet peeve of mine, and only noticeable close up.
I have yet to see how it performs in hot humid summer so I'll do an update in a few months. It may oxidise but we'll see!
On my skin, which is normal, at the worst I get an oily T but generally dehydrated, this looks exactly how I want it - natural satin finish without obvious sheen. You could add a highlighter if you wanted to look like a model.
So far I am very happy with this, because colour match for me is paramount (most other gripes can be solved with the addition of other products). The finish is fab and so far it is reasonably long wearing! Similar to EL DWL but in the right colour :) Definitely goes on light, but will build without caking.

I purchased the "How To Look Your Best At Everything" kit in medium so that I could try this foundation as well as some of the other product.
I'm hit and miss with this. Some days I really like it, others not so much. Sometimes it lets oil though quickly, sometimes not. It is a nice light formula that feels comfortable on the skin. I find it works best with the Porefessional primer applied first. It does not "Wow" me so I won't be buying again.
This is the first liquid foundation i've ever bought and at first it was great. It was light, dewey and had a matte finish. I thought that this was the one for me...until i started wearing it outdoors in the ridiculous summer heat we have here in Taiwan.
Not only did it start melting off my face, my skin started to react to the foundation and it became really itchy.
I think that this would be a better foundation for winter seeing that it worked perfectly fine when i was indoors, in the AC.
And I love the fact that it comes with a pump that's fairly easy to use
I'm oily combo when it comes to my skin. This gave me llight to medium coverage. I used it with PoreFessional primer, and it looked cakey. It clogged my pores up, and I could still see my huge pores with this on. It felt nice and light weight, but didn't make my skin look flawless. My oil broke through at 4 hours. This would probably be better for normal to dry skin. Did not last in the Vegas heat. This may be better on me in Winter on days off and when my skin doesn't need too much coverage. Nice foundation, but didn't work for my oily skin. I don't know why I so need to stop straying from Revlon Colorstay and Laura Mercier Oil-Free foundations!
Clogged pores and breakout after one use, tried for a couple more days and it was confirmed to be this product. Thank goodness it was a free sample from Sephora. In the trash it went. Not good for my fair, sensitive skin type.
I hate it. It has no staying power, no coverage, streaks, rubs off, and the color range is weird. I'm not a big Benefit fan to begin with and this reminds me why! I definitely don't recommend this for an oily skin.
The lightest shade was too light for me, and the next one up was too dark! Too big of a jump between shades means that there is no shade that matches my skin color.
I got samples of both colors, though, and tried them both. Although I like the coverage and effect of this foundation as soon as it is put on- it has no staying power. In 2 hours it looked like I had no foundation on - it had all run off
I'm not wowed at all by this foundation.
I've been using Hello Flawless Custom Powder in Beige All the World's My Stage and I am a repeat customer of that product (on my 3rd product now) because it is incredible. I'll write another review on that. So anyway, when Benefit came up with the liquid foundation version of Hello Flawless I was excited to try it out.
So I got myself the same shade as my powder version, just in the liquid version it is called Beige I'm All the Rage. Sadly to me, the liquid version of Hello Flawless is not as impressive as the powder version. Rather, it is a disappointment.
First the colour was way too pink and too dark for my skin.
Second, it does not "melt" or "sink" into your skin, unlike Bobbi Brown's Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation (I'm on my 2nd tube!) and Makeup Forever HD Foundation, this HFOW foundation somehow it looks as if it just "sits" on your skin and you can see your pores which looked even more visible after wearing this!
Actually the MUA recommended even a shade darker which would have been even worse! I can't imagine it.
I regret buying this foundation.
