BOOO! I ended up returning this product, because it was way too moisturizing to my face. I have very oily skin and if you do too than this product is not for you! The cute packaging is the only thing i liked about it. I would not buy this again. It was expensive too.
Recently just picked this up after finishing my Smashbox HD liquid foundation (which I love). I had high expectations for this product. I do not hate it, but I'm not thoroughly impressed either. I have not seen an improvement in my skin, both with texture and brightening. It is a runny formula, which makes sense as it is a lighter coverage foundation. The sheer coverage is nice, although my skin demands for more, as I have scarring.
My skin does tend to get oily, so I find a finishing powder necessary. My Smashbox Hydrating powder was too dense, but the Hello Flawless powder doesnt seem to cooperate well, although it does cut oil. All in all, if you do not have problematic skin this would make for a fabulous foundation.
I really wanted Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow to work for me, but it didn't. Many of times did I stop by my local Benefit counter asking all the girls to colour match me, and every time I was told that I was a different shade. First of all I was told "I'm so money, Honey' was the shade for me, i picked up a sample bottle to make sure, as a Benefit gal has sold me foundation that was to dark, and I wasn't able to exchange it either. Bummer. I didn't want that to happen again. I excitedly went home and tried Honey on the next morning. Needless to say, it was FAR to orange. I went back again and was given the shade Champagne, ended up being too yellow! Tried again and was given Petal, which was also too yellow! Went back again and thought I might give Ivory a try, but the MUA didn't recommend it and was so unhelpful, didn't even swatch it on me and tried to sell me other products. It is very disappointing that they have such a limited shade range, because I absolutely loved the formula and the coverage. I tried to make it work by covering as much of the yellow with powder. On the days I did wear it, it lasted the whole day, with a primer. I really liked the coverage and it was buildable. All in all I loved the way this made my face look (aside from the yellow) and feel, if Benefit released more shades I would most certainly purchase, I guess i'll just have to wait and see. For now my hunt for a foundation continues!
I bought this when I needed to find a summer foundation. I'm an NC40-42 and I wear this in Beige. Now, I've tried this both with and without a primer and without one, this product take forever to blend. It doesn't dry to a matte finish, it is very dewy. With a primer, the product provides better coverage and is very nice and light for summer. It doesn't provide full coverage, only light to medium. I would use it only for summer though because I prefer fuller coverage foundations.
I am so in love with this foundation. I read amazing reviews and swapped for it BN. I got Cheers to Me Champagne after a Benefit rep at Sephora told me that it would be good middle range shade. It feel so light and doesn't get cakey. It lasts all day and is easily washed off. I love how smooth it makes my skin, especially paired with Benefit the POREfessional. Pretty amazing product, just wish it wasn't so expensive, because I'm going to need a new bottle eventually! :)
I really like this product! At first I wasn't sure because of my combination skin (liquid foundation) that it would work, but I tried it on, and you barely feel like you're wearing anything, but look great.
I am a huge foundation/tm collector with a very oily complexion. I think this is something I would use towards the winter season only because now that it is summer it just MELTS right off my face instantly!! Even using a setting powder and a primer. I have a yellow undertone so it really works for me color wise, although like other reviewers I saw it does tend to change its color as the day goes by and it looks sort of orange? Either way for oily skinned people, buy plenty of blotting sheets if you intend to use this in summer. I still love my laura mercer TM over this though so I don't think I will be repurchasing.
I like the way this feels on my skin, but the lightest shade is far too yellow. Also, pricey for amount of product.
I have this foundation in 'believe in me' ivory, the pink toned shade. I would recommend you get matched by a MUA, particularly if you are fair skinned as there are two different ivory shades. This is the perfect partner of Hello Flawless Powder and it really is worth investing in both if you want to achieve a truly flawless look (the powder is amazing).
Beautiful, natural finish. Dewy looking but not shiny.
Blends into skin exceptionally well.
Can be built up to medium coverage without looking cakey.
Moisturising and feels good on the skin.
Doesn't clog pores.
Skin looks just as good 8 hours later.
Works well in conjunction with the Hello Flawless Powder, which increases the foundations longevity and gives extra coverage.
Nice pump on bottle, even amount of product dispensed.
Packaging is nothing special (for the price anyway).
I don't buy into the 'oxygen wow' claim.
Not good for days when I need full coverage.
Skin information: I have combination skin. Dry cheeks and shiny t-zone also sensitive skin.
After applying the foundation i noticed that it had a more liquid consistency than what im use to. Applying to the skin with my fingers, i noticed that it was very natural. The application is light to medium depedning on how many layers you want to put on. It does not look cakey at ALL. The more layers i put on, the better coverage it is and it doesnt look cakey. Im so surprised with this. It looks exactly like my skin except more more even. Im in the colour ivory (the shades have a yellow undertones to it - which is fine with me since i am asain ahah) I was tossing between ivory or petal, but the petal shade was indeed too orangy and looks like i had a very bad tan. So i got ivory and its a good match, it blends really well onto the skin since its very runny and liquid. If this helps, i use to use Revlons colorstay and im in the color buff.
It is very moisturising and i still did notice that my forehead and nose got shiny, but not greasy. Just set it with a powder and it should be ok.
So far, im very happy with it.
