sort of a no-brainer choice for me: this stuff is cheap, doesn't flake or clump, looks natural, and can be built up for more oomph. i buy this in dark brown (i'm pale--nc15--with brown hair and blue eyes), and it makes my lashes visible, lasts all day, and, well, it's 7 bucks. i grab a new tube every two months or so, since it does seem to get a little wimpier with time (?). incidentally, i'm a fan of the straight brush, since i can *roll* the brush as i move it from base to tips of lashes (which for some reason makes the product look even more natural).
HG HG! LOVE this mascara. I have fairly sparse eyelashes and this mascara makes them look so thick and full. I wear it in brown/black and even with one coat, I can tell a difference. It has never clumped. I will DEFINITELY continue to buy this mascara.
LOVE this mascara! I've been trying different mascaras (Including L'Oreal Voluminous -- CRAP!), but keep coming back to this one! It builds nicely without clumping or giving me crazy stiff lashes. It definitely gives me dramatic lashes. I just LOVE this stuff!!
I love this mascara! It makes my lashes full and soft, and doesn't clump, flake, or smudge. It's good for a natural look, but with more coats it can create a more dramatic look.
This is not a great mascara, but it is a good one. If you are looking for lots of drama, lots of length and volume, look elsewhere. But this does deliver nice definition and color, and it does not clump. I put on like 5 coats of the stuff and it still didn't clump, and stayed relatively soft. It didn't turn my lashes into crispy spikes! I would use this for a nice daytime look, more of a natural look. Priced well, too.
I've used this in the past and really really liked the fullness and softness it provided, but for some reason tried other mascaras. I think I may have found my HG (with curved brush though - just couldn't find it), although I do want try the waterproof version, before I make it "final"....... update this is no longer in the "running" for my HG mascara, I now find that it smears a little and irritates my eyes. May try again at a later time.
Get the waterproof Full & Soft. I have both of them, & there is a HUGE difference! I'm not really a waterproof mascara person because I like for it to wash off easily, but Full & Soft waterproof is amazing. This regular Full & Soft is crap though. It went on really thick, wet, flaky, & I had to wipe it off the last two times I applied it. I used a lash curler & a lash comb, but the mascara just sucked no matter how much I worked at it. I then applied the waterproof formula & it was beautiful. Full & Soft Waterproof all the way! continued >>
I just bought this today and I've been wearing it for about 4 hours or so with no signs of flaking or smudging. However, it did sort of kill my curl from my Shu curler. I have minimal stick straight lashes that are very thin (asian) and although this did give me fullness/softness (love the softness!), it was not worth losing the curl for. If you have naturally curly lashes, this is the mascara for you. Otherwise, steer clear of this!
L'oreal Volumnious (waterproof version) is much better, but that kinda leaves my lashes stiff and crunchy-looking (bleh), and after about two weeks it goes bad and flakes...not very attractive. *continues search for HG*
I don't think I'm applying it correctly because when my mom using this mascara it looks amazing. It's her HG mascara. But I hate it. It's really clumpy when I apply it. It deffinatly doesn't make my lashes soft. If I touch my lashes I can feel the globs of mascara. Ick.
pretty good mascara, but at this price range, i like L'Oreal Voluminous mascara much more. i can see how this can work really well for others though as i have short & thin lashes and need something extreme, which would make others look too over the top.
