I have such mixed feelings on this product! I purchased the foundation at Sephora along with a foundation brush after having a lesson with one of the consultants. It gave such great coverage for my freckles and dark spots (even when I put it on-not the consultant). However, I started breaking out almost immediately. I stopped using it until my skin cleared and tried it again. Same thing. If your skin isn't prone to break-outs, then it's an awesome full-coverage foundation. If your skin is sensitive, then buyer beware.

Great coverage even with a small amount. Even though the coverage was great it made me break out after I was finally clearing up . If my skin wouldn't react to this foundation it'd be the best foundation I've tried and I have tried so many. Hope the review helps!

I LOVE this foundation! I do believe it will be my new HG. I have oily skin, which is weird because the rest of my body is dry all the time, but my face will shine within 2 hours of being washed. My oily skin also causes many foundations to oxidize on my skin causing it to turn orangey. Not this one, this foundation suits me perfectly! The coverage is a medium to almost full, but it's so light on the skin and sets to a velvet finish. It keep the shine under control most of the day and looks beautiful even after 10 hours on. I was matched to shade 45 at Sephora and it's perfect for me.
I decided to buy this product during Sephora's FF sale. I've been wanting to try this since every other combo/oily girl seems to love it.
My first impression was that the packaging is very lightweight and portable. However, when I opened it, it was squirting all over the place. I guess that happened with the mixtures of air pressure, and tossing and turning during delivery. I was already disappointed. When I tried the product, I liked how the shade seemed to match me very well. It made me look luminous, almost. However, I noticed it can come off a bit dry and thick. I guess I should've expected that seeing this is supposed to be a mattifying foundation. I found that when I use a foundation brush, this applies very streaky. When applied with a buffing brush, it looks better but still appears a bit streaky. Using a beauty blender works the best to help it blend seamless into the skin. Still, I was not satisfied with this foundation. Why? Not only is it hard to blend, it does last very long on my combo/oily skin. It still leaves me looking greasy and gross, even when I set it with powder. My t-zone would cake up and my cheeks would streak. Despite blotting and facial sprays, there was no improvement. I just couldn't figure out how to make this work. Lastly, this broke me out. I haven't had pimples in so long but after trying out this foundation (I tried it everyday for a week), I started breaking out. So annoying.
I really had high hopes for the foundation and I was really hoping this could be "the one." I'm very disappointed. This is going back.
Defiantly a very high quality foundation. I have combo skin and this works great both in the summer when i'm oily and in the winter when my face is dry. Great coverage without clogging pores. Worth every penny!
I bought this foundation bc I have extremely oily skin, and I wanted
something to help control the oil on my nose, forehead and chin and keep me matte all day. Foundation I used before is Lancome Tiente Idole. I went to Sephora and first I got shade 55. The price is $34. The next day I put it on and it was too light so week later I exchanged it for #65. I've been wearing it for a couple days to work, I work a 9-5 job, so my foundation always melts off my face by noon. This foundation does not do a great job of controlling my oil. Im oily after 1 hr! I apply it with my Sonia Kashuk flat top brush or just use my hands sometimes. It could also be that I am using a bad powder, which is L'oreal Trueblend. I hate this powder but it's my only powder at the moment. I wore it by it self and it seemed better. Maybe if I use a better powder it will help. I'm almost considering returning this foundation. A foundation that I think is better than this one, is Clinique Acne Control. it covers beautifuly and helps with the oil control better and its only $24. I may just get that one instead.
Also the coverage is not the great. I only like to apply 1 layer of foundation on my face, other wise i feel like it will look cakey.... And I feel that with this one you have to apply more than 1 layer. I want a foundation that with 1 swipe it makes my skin look beautiful, even, clean and matte! This one just doesn't do it for me.
Really sucks bc I thought this foundation would be so good! Maybe my skin is just too oily. :(
This is a great foundation for oily skin though I do think Revlon colorstay has better lasting power on my very oily skin. (For reference, I get shine breakthrough in 30-60 mins after putting foundation on clean skin.) I wouldn't recommend using this with any moisturizer with any oil in it (jojoba, etc.) since it won't hold up for long.
The main reason why I prefer to wear this over Colorstay is because it feels much lighter and comfortable on the skin. I wear a shade 30 and am around NC25. I find that it doesn't aggravate my acne very much.

I have to say it works better than mac studio fix, it really makes your face matte all day, set it with select sheer powder, in my case its impossible to not to set with powder, but eh guys its a great foundation, i tried the estee lauder double wear sample, i found it with no difference with studio fix, this foundation feels so light love it, but the package can upgrade a bit better
I've just done my Insanity training with Shaun T. My makeup is untouched! A little bit shiny forehead but come on, sweat was pouring down my body... Oh, and I set it with powder (MAC blot powder), I dont know how it works on its own. love it!
I feel a bit stupid for purchasing this foundation as my skin is on the drier side, but I heard that the shade selection was excellent and that shade #15 (Alabaster, I believe) would be a really good match for my fair skin. I do like the matte look, so I gave it a shot. The color was fairly close, but the coverage was really thick and just too matte for me, personally. It would cling to dry patches and just look mask-like, which I don't like. For those with oilier skin types who want a VERY matte, fuller-coverage look, this would be perfect. I think it comes down to skin type and coverage preference, so really, it was my mistake.
