I don't like this product at all. I've tried to like it but it irritates my skin every time I go back to trying it. I now use it to clean my brushes.

This made me have the worst acne I've had in my whole life. Even 2 months after not using this anymore I still had the same acne and the only way I got rid of it was getting differin. Acne sufferers BEWARE!

I've used this for about five years now and find it doesn't stress my skin out, overly dry it, or have any strange smells. It's not strong enough for waterproof eye makeup, but for the rest of your face makeup, it can take it all off without needing a makeup remover first. I buy it from the Philosophy website in the 40 oz size so I can go half a year without needing to replenish. My HG cleanser.

It seems I'm always getting samples of this product....with my Clarisonic, in GWP bags from Nordstrom, from Sephora advisors....I usually throw them into my travel bag and never end up using them, but I gave the large sample that came with my Clarisonic a try. I do like the way that this removes my makeup so thoroughly, but I don't feel like it's cleansing enough for my combo/oily skin, as I'd wake up in the morning with very oily skin. It's a nice, mild, soothing cleanser, but it's not the one for me.

I've been using this for a few months now (I just switched due to some breakouts) and I really do like it. I was using cetaphil before which is always a good go to cleasner. What I love about this cleanser is that it removes makeup sooooo well! When I use it at night I don't even have to use an eye make up remover to take off my waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It's gentle and does its's job! I have bought this now 3 times.

I have been using this cleanser on my dry/combination, very SENSITVE skin, for over 6 years and have regularly tried using alternatives, both more expensive and much less expensive--and this is the ONLY cleanser that does NOT break me out and leaves my skin so soft and happy. Recently purchased a clarisonic Mia and use this with that and my skin simply jumps for joy--I use this every morning in the shower and have no problem with the natural scent or the fact that it doesn't lather--it does its job in cleaning everything off my face....this is worth every penny and I normally order this in the value size on QVC and it's a great value :) This and hope in a jar and Pure Grace are my ultimate faves i can NEVER do without :)

Let me start off by describing my skin. I generally have clear skin. I rarely have pimples, except right before I have my period but even then it's only one or two and those pimples are easily popped. My skin is a little dry and has a tendency to flake if I don't exfoliate. I use my clarisonic mia every night with the sensitive brush head. I picked up Purity on a whim around three weeks ago. At first, I really loved it (except for the scent, which I could deal with) because it didn't make my skin dry, tight or flaky after use. About two weeks ago I noticed that my skin started to break out all over. There wasn't a specific spot that was targeted, my entire face was! These pimples are painful and under the surface, which make them impossible to pop and deal with. I've stopped using the cleanser and I haven't noticed any more pimples coming up, but I'm still stuck with the pimples that had already formed. Ouch!

What I love about this cleanser is that it dosent make my skin dry and tight when I rinse it off.
Pros:
- It has alight, pleasant non irritating scent
-does a great job at removing the remnants of my makeup with my clairsonic after I use a makeup remover towelette.
- Its a cleanser, it cleases. It removes impurities without adverse reaction (for me at least)
- Makes my skin soft and not tight feeling when I rinse it off.
Cons:
- Price
- No pump unless you get the big big size

With a name like Purity Made Simple, I assumed this would be non-irritating. Boy, was I wrong. There's nothing pure about this cleanser. I mean, look at the hefty ingredient list! It was my mistake for giving into all of the hype and avoiding the ridiculous ingredients.

Purity Made Simple really irritated my eyes. I even had someone at work ask if I had a case of pink eye emerging. My eyes were bloodshot and itchy.

Oh, and this made me break out. It caused a total of three cystic zits for me -- one on my forehead, temple, AND CHEEK! Which is horrible because the cheeks are where I avoid breaking out most, as they are extremely prone to hyperpigmentation. This should take quite a while to heal, especially since my crappy skin takes forever to heal the cystic ones. :( NEVER again will I let this touch my face.

The ONLY plus about this cleanser is the cute packaging. That's about it.
