I won this from a contest on youtube, it was packaged and new. At first i hated it, took forever to dry and didn't even volumize. It grew with me. It is defenitlely OVERHYPED. It isn't that great. There are better mascaras out there, ladies! I would not but this, It is retail $7-8 and honestly not that great. It is wet, doesnt volumize that much, and doesnt seperate. Do not buy.
I adore this mascara. I've never been picky about my mascara and never believed the hype (or literally bought into it), but I was intrigued by the idea of a mascara that didn't make my lashes stiff and came across this new gel mousse formula. I love it. It makes my lashes look HUGE! It's lightweight & doesn't take 12 makeup wipes to remove. A winner definitely.
Note: I purchased the regular formula. I have the H20 proof also but I do NOT like that. It's a much drier formula and makes my lashes clump.
This was impossible for me to get off! This is a big deal for me. Such a shame because i really liked the way it made my lashes look and the formula and wand made it easy to apply. It felt heavy on my lashes, but they weren't stiff. I gave it to a friend who likes this mascara. I hated it. If its not waterproof I should be able to take it off easily.
Nothing spectacular. The mascara colors and slightly lengthens my lashes, but there's no dramatic lengthening and/or voluminizing effect that I get with the other Volum' Express mascaras. It does live up to one claim: my lashes do remain limber and plush instead of brittle. So it's good for those whose are looking for a more natural look to their mascara. But if you want any significant lash impact, this mascara probably won't do it.
This is ok but only in conjunction with Maybelline falsies. Otherwise, I just think the formula is lacking in hold and thickness.
I have short sparse lashes, and these add volume without the weight which is great! I swear this on my top lashes and great lash on my lower ones. Its a bit wet at first, but once its dry it stays put. I dont recommend this if you have oily lids, I have pretty dry skin so I'm good.
Overall, i love that the brush is so soft and large, and that the actual mascara formula is light as a feather!
Maybelline, you never cease to amaze me with your mascaras and eyeliners!
I picked this up while I was in the states for a holiday. The packaging attracted me the most. I loved the colour! And also the fact that it said something about it being the first gel mascara so I thought it'd be cool to try it out. Coming back to Singapore, I finally tried it and sad to say, the packaging and gel formula don't help this product one bit. It smudges throughout the day and it doesnt hold up my lashes. My lashes feel heavy and clumpy after applying this. And the wand! It's just way too big to even comb through my lashes without getting black smudges on my eyelids. You can definitely give this mascara a miss ladies!
I saw so many Beauty Gurus raving about this mascara. So, I was strolling around the makeup in Wal-Mart. I stumbled upon this mascara. There was only one left. It was in the color brownish-black, which I usally do not prefer (I usually just use black) but since it was the only one left and looked lonely, I picked it up for around $6. I am truly disappointed in this mascara.
Although it doesn't mak your lashes hard like many mascaras, it makes mine STICK TOGETHER. Yes, stick. Does this only happen to me? It does not hold a curl, it does volumize, though. Lengthen? Nah.
The things I liked about this product was the packaging. It is such a pretty bright teal color with magenta detailing. This mascara does not get much use. Disappointing. :(
This product is good if you want thick wild lashes. Its great as a volumeizing mascara. It doesnt really comb your lashes well. the "gel" constancy makes it hard on my lashes. My lashes thin when using this repeatedly. I like that this product doesnt smude off it more flakes off when its time to wash your face. i prefer its one by one cousin. i use this when i want really wild, and long lashes.
i like this mascara because it adds volume and separates without being too over-dramatic. its perfect for everyday wear to work or school where you don't want to overdo your lashes. i am not a big fan of the brush though it kind of makes it harder to apply the mascara and its definitely not the best mascara out there especially if you want a more dramatic look
