First of all, I detest most drugstore mascaras as I find they stink like chemicals and I don't like putting something that smells like that near my eyes. Secondly, I am a slave to Diorshow for about 3 years now. That being said, I thought this was the best mascara I've ever bought in a drugstore. It has a nice big brush like my aforementioned favorite and IT DOESN'T SMELL! The only cons were that it doesn't last very long - it will need to be touched up - and the only color I thought worked well was Carbon Black (yes, even though I swear by brown mascara) which is a little more difficult to take off. A great product, the end.

**EDIT** I recently purchased another carbon black (probably my 3rd or 4th) and it seems like Neutrogena changed the formula! I don't think the problem is that it was on the shelf too long.. I bought it at a CVS where they are always out of stock in Neutrogena products. :( it smells different, and the packaging (not the actual mascara) was slightly different too. It also didn't seem as dark, so I needed several coats instead of 1.

I really wanted to love this product because I love the nourishing factor in mascara, but the only other mascara I know of with it is Maybelline Great Lash, and I hhhaaattee that mascara brush. This brush was fabulously big and did give me nice lashes- for a couple hours! At the end of every day I would look in the mirror and sigh because I didn't look like it did that morning when I had heavily piled on seven layers of the stuff.
Other than that I do think it nourished my lashes and I loved that it washed off very easily without leaving residue. If only it stayed on!!

I have really light/blonde eye lashes, and I hate to touch up or reapply during the day. I bought the brown/black two weeks ago and so far I really like it. I have had no problem w/flaking and I find it wears really well w/minimal running (little to no raccoon eyes). I liked it so much I bought two more tubes this week because they were on sale. I do prefer a more natural look, and this will defiantly replace the Maybelline Full and Soft Mascara for every daywear, I have been using. Even if it does dry out quickly the sale price still is cheaper than the DP store brands. UPDATE: I had to take a lippie off because L'Oreal • Bare Naturale Mascara is so much better (see my review). However this would be my 2nd fave masacara.

While I like how dark the carbon black is, unfortunately this product doesn't deliver on anything else. It comes in an average mascara tube, has a nice full brush, and isn't stinky [I hate stinky mascara! Stinky anything, for that matter, lol]. I applied about 3 coats, and while there was minimal clumping the stuff dried pretty quickly, so maybe that's why it didn't clump. My lashes just looked darker, not fuller. It didn't last very long, either; it started to wear off after only two hours, and that's with me just staying home and folding laundry, not running around at work or anything. Also, it smears pretty bad if it gets the slightest bit wet, so when I'd dab at my eyes after I yawned [my eyes tear a lot when I yawn], I wound up with smeary raccoon eyes. There was some flaking, too, and remember, this was after only TWO hours. I gave it an overall rating of 3, just cuz I've used MUCH worse, and it was actually really gentle - no itching or burning, no stinky smell to it, and it qiped off easily with a baby wipe - and I know that it'll be great for other people. I think it was $7.49US at Target, on sale? I don't remember, but it wasn't too too much. It's average, in every way, really. On to the next...

Not much different than weightless volume. My mom asked me if I was wearing any makeup after I put on three coats of this! *sigh*, no more neutrogena mascara for me, they must all be for those seeking the very natural look. If that's what you're looking for, stick with this brand.

I love it, makes my eyelashes long and curled. I do not need eyelash curler anymore.

I've tried countless mascaras.
I swear every brand from Nordstrom's to Sephora to rite aid!
I tend to switch alot when they stop working as well or I want something better, I'm always looking!
I went off to look for a mascara with volume, because i have length. One that wasn't spidery, heavy and stiff.

I loved this stuff!

PROS:
-it hardly flaked for me at least (and I put like three coats!)
-it was light, and my lashes are soft
-one coat does a good job
-thick and natural looking, perfect for every day wear
-dried fairly quick which is nice, b/c my mascaras always smear on my upper lid.
-PRICE!

CONS:
-wheres the waterproof? I live in the northwest, rain gets in my eyes! And it would be nice for summer.
-may not be as fake looking as some would like
(but you could build it up or put another mascara over it)

Try it!
1 lippie off for not being in waterproof

This mascara is GREAT!!!! i am so in love with it. I have tired every kind out there i feel like and this is the only kind that doesn't make my eyes water like crazy. It def gives you long full lashes. as many of the other reviews said it does dry quickly, but i really like that about it. i'm always in a hurry putting my makeup on and usually do it while in traffic in the mornings, so the drying factor is great for me. I will continue to buy this over and over! very happy :)

This mascara is just okay. I purchased it because I really liked the sound of a mascara with sweet almond oil and olive oil. I don't like really thick/heavy mascara, so I was hoping this product would go on really smooth and have a glossy look to it.

The packaging is nice and simple, the wand is a good size, and the carbon black is a great black color. Howeveer, it seemed to dry really quickly as I was applying it, which I don't like. I like to be able to comb through my lashes and separate them with the brush, but as I did this, the product began to dry and flake off.

I also noticed throughout the day that little bits of black would flake off and fall underneath my eye.

I'll use up the bottle that I purchased, but probably will try something else next time. Still haven't found my HG mascara!

The best mascara I've tried, EVER. Believe me. I've tried everything. Cheap, expensive, you name it. This is by far the best. This makes my lashes look fake (in a good way) after I've curled them. No clumping, no flaking. It really does seem to be moisturizing. I think "Healthy Volume" is a great name for this because that's exactly what it does. It lengthens too. I just can't rave enough. I'm almost tempted to go stock up on this since most stuff I love seems to get discontinued...
