this mascara has a waxy formula that weighs my lashes down. I think it gives good length and volume, but if it makes my lashes point straight out then there's no use for wearing it. *note* I have thin straight asian lashes.

Love this mascara, and I love the shape of the brush, it helps get all your lashes. And I dont have to curl my lashes at all, which is awesome. Not clumpy and my lashes stay put. Best so far!

I'm always searching for the perfect mascara...from the cheapest to the most expensive and everything else in between. I have short sparse lashes. I bought this two hours ago and couldn't wait to try it. LOVE IT. It lives up to this name. I have to say, it really looks like false eyelashes. I can't wait to try it tomorrow with my lash primer plus. High 5 to Maybelline!

I think I have found my HG mascara. This product is absolutely amazing if you have straight lashes that have a hard time holding a curl. Almost every mascara I have ever tried has weighed down my lashes and made them straight again in less than 10 minutes. The falsies wp is even better at holding a curl- but the regular version works just fine as well. I highly recommend trying this mascara if you're looking for something new!The brush is also a bit tricky to work at first. It is really easy to apply too much to your lashes and leave them wet and clumpy. I have found it works best to turn the brush on its side and use only the little bristles to coat my lashes. I have to go over them a couple of times, but they never get clumpy and stay separated and lengthen a lot this way. I already have repurchased 2 times and will continue to do so!

Okay, so like most makeup junkies, when I see a new anything being pimped on tv & magazines, I wanna try it. My makeup stash is like an elephant graveyard for mascara, seriously. Shopping one day at my local friendly neighborhood Walmart (insert sarcasm), I picked up a package of the falsies in the blackest black they have, I can't quite remember the name of it off the top of my head. Anyhoo, I was so curious to try the product I refrained from even wearing mascara to my shopping excursion so I could try it on as soon as I got back to the car. I'm pretty pleasantly pleased with this product. No, it doesn't make you look like you painstakingly put false lashes on, but it does have an extra "oomph" that the other 1934799734823 million mascaras don't. I really like the brush with the curved spoon, and found it easy to hold and manipulate. It takes about a few coats to get a nice lash line, and I like how it is somewhat buildable. When you have the time, you can easily make your lashes touch the top of your eyelid nicely, without looking having a spider-lash vibe. Even when running short on time, a few quick coats makes my eyes look big and doe-eyed, which my boyfriend loves. I feel like this product can give you great length and volume much better than lash blast from covergirl. I also like how easy it is to coat the bottom lashes with this wand, and it seems to make them look a little more "showy" than usual. I really like the bright packaging, making it easy to locate in my makeup bag. In conclusion, I think that in a world of constant new up and coming drugstore mascaras, this one definitely stands out and is a homerun for Maybelline and the ladies who decide to add it to their mascara graveyard (:

I really don't like this, it doesn't hold my curls, which is very important to me cause of my asian lashes :P But it does give nice volume and length. my all time favourite is Define a lash by maybelline, it will hold a curl for hours.

This mascara is is great. It doesn't literally make your lashes look false, but it certainly does transform mine from just "blah" to "wow!". Lasts all day, though it does get a bit flaky. Avoid putting on too many coats, it tends to get clumpy. If applied correctly, lashes look amazing. Will buy again!

As a certified mascara junkie, I've tried and continue to try almost every mascara that comes out hoping to find my drug store holy grail. Up until now I've been a complete YSL faux cils snob. I looooooove that mascara; despite it's claim to provide the look of "faux cils" I still was not surprised to find that the name was an exaggeration at best. why? because I'm a freaking adult and I understand that gimmicks are used to sell cosmetics. On to maybelline's "the falsies." I think I'm in love. at $7.49 a pop, you don't get much better than this. It gave me incredible length, definition, and some volume. While not identical to YSL, I'm shocked to find that it's certainly on par with it. The one thing I love about both mascaras is that they provide a nice looking lash line QUICKLY. I don't have ten minutes every morning to make my lashes look perfect--primers, eye lash curlers, and combs are just not for me and my tight time frame. A few swipes of falsies on each eye and I'm good to go. Is this HG? we'll see how long the tube lasts. But unlike many of the reviewers on here, I have reasonable expectations from my mascara and just because maybelline tells me my lashes will look "false" after using their mascara doesn't mean I take them at literal face value. For what it is, it's a good mascara. For a "faux cils" look, stick with your actual falsies and glue.

I just bought this product yesterday, and I must say I was disappointed. It didn't not give the look I expected at all. It coated the lashes just fine, but it didn't make them look false...not think, and I don't think it even lengthened (I have long lashes already). Over all I wouldn't wast my bucks on this product again.

I did not like this at all. It is the clumpiest mascara I have ever used. After one coat, it looked all clumped together, and using my eyelash brush didnt even help. It does make it longer, but nothing special. I have used other mascaras that are better.
