Best foundation for me. I've gone thru a number of liquid foundations and after using Mac select for years I decided I needed something more covering. I apply with a sponge and set with kryolan transculent powder, never had a caking issue (liquids need a setting powder or they will cake and slip). I have oily skin but I've had no issues and no acne issues either. Def needs a pump thou, and I wish it came in a plastic bottle as you can't get the last bit out. Is pricy but it lasted a year for me using a pump so worked out well priced in the end.

i definetly love this product i always repurchase this foundation. it gives me a full matte coverage which i love! it is a great foundation you just have to be careful when you apply it as it can look heavy if not blended right but i use it with fix plus and makes me look very flawless it wears for a long time! and they have a great selection of colors. the only thing i dont like is the packaging and price cause without a pump it gets messy! u can always buy one to give the packaging thumb up but again it messes with price which i think is a bit expensive as it is!!!!
Not a bad foundation. Decent price, good coverage. Does tend to make my oily skin oxidise a bit. The only thing I would say is that I wish this foundation came with a pump.
I really wanted to love this foundation. As as a matter of fact, I did, for the first month of using it. It gave me excellent coverage, matched my skin tone perfectly, and lasted hours. My main gripe is that is gave me cystic acne along my jawline that took over 6 months to get rid of. I never break out, EVER, and when I started using this I started getting horrible blemishes. I ended up having to see a dermatologist to fix the acne problem which was caused by the makeup. I love all MAC products, but unfortunately they have a lot of poor ingredients in this foundation that causes many people who don't normally break out, to have skin issues. I suggest trying before buying in case it causes the same issue for you.

I was extremely disappointed with my skin after this! The foundation gave a lovely finish & great coverage, but my skin totally disagreed with the formula! I would develop a slight rash on my face after a couple of hours. I will keep it though for when my sisters get a spray tan & they can use it to darken their makeup to match their new colour. Unfortunately the sales assistant stuffed up my colouring I'm sure. I was matched at NW25 but it's too dark for me. I bought Studio Tech in NW20 (another MAC foundation I can't use) and that is a little too light so I'm sure I'm a NW22! I now only refer my MAC shade to compare with others so I can't get a fairly good idea of what colour to pick when buying a new foundation, which has definitely come in handy! I always used to buy foundations to match my face colour, not my body! I have a cool undertone & would always buy yellow based foundations, resulting in a green sickly looking face in photos. So I do thank you MAC, for correcting my colouring issues! continued >>
this was the most expensive foundation ive ever paid for at £22 and i must say it wasnt really worth it.. i was desperate to find a foundation which matched my skintone by a professional not just some staff at a highstreet store who doesnt know anything. so i have this in NC25 which matches perfect.. but its the first ever foundation to suddenly made my skin soooo dry! my nose and around it just under my eyes would get drier the more i wore this so i had to really start moisterizing more to avoid it being dry, and i did pay alot of money for this so i couldnt stop using it now! and throughout the day nearer to the end i would look at my skin and it would be all cracked because of the dry skin it had caused.. mac staff they never had this problem from someone else before but i definitely will not be buying this product again..!
I bought this to put in my professional makeup kit because everyone was telling me how it was the best. It's not the best. People just say that because it's MAC. I've since replaced my Studio Fix's with Revlon ColorStays because they work much better than Studio Fix. Just because it's MAC doesn't mean it's great. This feels nice at the start and when you first use it you're like OH WOW, but as time goes on you realise it doesn't have good staying power and doesn't look nice over the course of the day. Massive disappointment.

I got this thinking it would do wonders on my skin... It did not.
As I react to strong scents in makeup, deodorants this baby made me nauseus..
I guess its okay for people with normal skin, but my oliy face made it fall of:-(
I reeeeally was hoping it would work!
The biggest downer was the lady that sold it to me... When she was trying out shades for me she insisted that NC20 was right for me... When I got home my whole face was yellow and they did not want to take the purchased product back!

I have not purchased this foundation, but have tried my cousins foundation in nc40 . The finish is wonderful. However the biggest problem was how quick and how dark it oxidised. It went from being a perfect yellow shade to a orangey shade. And on top of that the smell was rather off putting

This foundation must be applied with a light hand - otherwise you will get cake face. I have NC42 skin tone and I found that the foundation oxidized slightly, leaving a faint orange hue on my skin. It has a very thick consistency and is quite heavy, hence you only need one pump. The smell is terrible but only lasts for about 5 minutes. After about 4 hours I need to blot my T-zone, but the foundation has staying power.
I won't be repurchasing this foundation due to the orange hue, it doesn't leave a natural appearance.
