I got a sample of this from Sephora, and honestly, this sucks. I thought I had heard something good about it, but I guess not. It reminds me a lot of Great Lash....it is wet, paintlike, and clumps and minimizes any lashes you already have. I planned on using the sample all this week, but it is going in the trash. This stuff sucks, bottom line.

It's over priced and nothing special. Doesnt do any better than a dollar store brand. Does not curl, it clumps, it's not for meeeeee! will NEVER repurchase.

I used this mascara a few years back but didn't find it exceptional. However, when I gave it another try recently I was surprised to find how well it worked! It gives me extreme definition and length, not so much volume. No clumping, smudging, or whatsoever. It holds my curl pretty well. Two coats will deliver the perfect soft long lashes that I always wanted. It's also very easy to build up the look. Great mascara for a defined look!

I have very thick and long lashes. So the only thing I don't care much about is mascara, because whatever I use they still look good. I was given this mascara by Lancome for free and I just thought I should give it a try. Good job!
All of my friends noticed that I had longer, more defined lashes: they even thought I had false eyelashes on!

So, I would probably buy the product again for when I need to obtain a more dramatic look.

I can not believe all these bad reviews on this product. I have stick straight lashes. I first got it with a GWP and the bristles on the wand looked a bit scary. None the less, I tried it. Thank you sweet baby Jesus! This is my HG!!! I first curl my lashes with the Shu eye lash curler and slap this stuff on. I start at the base then wiggle out. I get natural thickness and great length. To add more length I just tap some on the ends of my lashes. My lashes stay curled and I look so youthful and flirty!!! When I finished my GWP I ran into Nordies and got myself my full sized mascara! @ $24 bucks a pop! I think i can afford that!!! Best time to get it is with a GWP and we all know Lancome has amazing sets! Hope this was helpful ladies!!!

Flakes off into eyes, cakes up, and dries out too fast!! Too expensive for the results.

After having bought an especially yucky and clumpy No 7 mascara (as "an experiment") I was so glad to get back to Definicils which is like a breath of fresh air. You just can't beat it. The packaging is classy and the mascara is superb. Doesn't clump, doesn't smudge or run, the brush is easy to use and separates the lashes. You don't get any curl, I'll admit,but I don't expect this and it's probably as much to do with my eyelashes as anything else!

This is a good quality mascara that gives a natural, soft look. It does not give any length or volume, but defines the lashes nicely.

I'm so torn on this mascara. I've used it for probably 25 years, but only because I can't find anything that works better for me - not because I love it. It does not smudge or flake, which is why I continue to buy it. At least not when it's new. I think they changed the formula somewhere along the line (maybe about 8 years ago) and it dries out much more quickly than it used to. Once that happens, it does flake. It's a bit heavy and weighs my lashes down making the curl come out. The brush is pretty good. The color is nice. Overall, it's a good mascara and I'll probably continue to use it.
