Great scent! It's very clean, like freshly laundered sheets or something haha. Kind of with powdery undertones. I use it at night before going to bed sometimes. It's also my mom's FAVORITE fragrance!
Lovely soft smell to this product. It smells better in the bath/ with water than just sniffing the jar. It lingers on the skin too (but better with the other grace skin products for real long lasting power). Very de-stressing soak for bathtime.
I like the scent of Amazing Grace ok- it's like a slightly more appealing version of BBW cotton blossom in that it's a soft floral that reminds me of doing the laundry. But for some reason, I never feel as clean after I use this as I do with some of my other shower gels. And I would never use it on my hair. Also, if any of you have the travel size 2 oz. container, make sure to pack it inside a plastic bag because the bottle leaks. :(
Amazing Grace is a beautiful, soft, lightly floral scent that is wearable for all ages, but smells pre-adolescent. As a body wash, the scent is subtle, but long-lasting; I can still smell it on my skin at the end of the day.
I have dry skin and find I need to use a heavier lotion when I use this, rather than a moisturizing soap. I do not use it as a shampoo because my hair is dry, as well.
I did go out and buy the Amazing Grace lotion and fragrance just because I can't get enough of this scent.
I was lucky enough to be given a sample of this in a recent purchase. I could not honestly be any more beside myself with this fragrance if I tried. It brings to mind soft fabric softener and quiet afternoons spent cuddling with loved ones - fresh, clean and pretty beyond words.
I do not have a bottle of my own yet but it is definitely on my list. continued >>
I got this as a sample in a Sephora order. I would never use it as a shampoo...as a shower gel it's okay, but it smells exactly like Pert Plus to me, and that's not really a good thing. It's an okay product, but not worth the price.
I received this as a free sample with my Sephora order and was soooo excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, I did not find much to like. This product does not lather well as a shampoo, and I was forced to wash again with actual shampoo. As a body wash, it's nothing special. Worst of all, IT SMELLS LIKE A GRANDMA.
I really don't understand what the hype over Philosophy's Amazing Grace is about. I've tried this shower gel, and I just can't get into it because bottom line, I think the scent is unpleasant. All my nose can detect is tartness. I definitely would not purchase this, or any other amazing grace product again.
This is ok. I wouldn't buy the full size. It smells ok, light and unoffensive though a bit on the musky side. My problem is why pay so much for a product you can only smell in the shower? It would only be worth it if you work in a hospital or some other place where you can't where scented products. Does rinse clean and make my skin a bit softer, but I still have to use lotion afterwards. Nothing special, as others have said.
My only complaint is that I wish this came in a pump. I just love this body wash. It makes me feel fresh and clean. The smell last longer if you layer it with the lotion and perfume. When I use this as a shampoo I let my hair dry naturally if want the smell to stay in longer. The price is a bit high for a body wash but I keep on buying it! :) I just love the smell. I don't like heavy smells and this is perfect for me.
