I was at my local target and this and thougth I would give it a try after seeing a few reviews on it. I am glad I did casue I love it. It glides on so easy. I didnt have to stop and start with pulling and dragging it across my lid. I got it in a gray color and it looks great. The other great thing about this is that its cheap I think I paid like $3.00 for it. I would most diff. buy again.....
I actually like this pencil!! I'm currently on my second one. I use 02 hazel. It's cheap and gets the job done. My only problem is that b/c i'm asian and i have black hair. My hair is highlighted ash brown so it suits my hair color but sometimes i still find that it looks unnatural especially when i get sloppy and don't fill in the sparse spots. I do like the little brush on the cap so I don't have to put my hand down to grab my brow brush especially in the mornings when i'm running late. So overall, I recommend this product b/c it is a good pencil for the price you pay.
I just got two of these. I got dark brown and black. I didn't know there was one in the middle. I picked these up at target for about $3 each. I usually use the avon ultra luxury brow pencils but I need to sharpen them so much that they don't last very long and I won't have another order coming in for two weeks so I wanted to try something new. I love the little brow brush that comes on the cap, Great for getting them in shape. I have my brows waxed when I can, usually every two-four weeks. And I pluck between. However I just don't think I can finish a look without filling in my brows. These keep a nice point and are very affordable. Will repurchase.
I was surprized that nobody mentioned Brown-Black color. I bouught it today again and it clearly says Brown-Black, not just Brown or Black. It's awesome cool, charcoal, very dark brown, exactly what I need for my brows. Many pencils are way too warm for me or just plain black which looks unnatural and hilarious on me.
It's very easy to apply, looks natural and is cheap. I wouldn't be surprized if some other HE company used identical ingredients and charged 4 times more.
I love the brush attached to a cap, great for blending the pencil in.
I agree with pinksnowbunny's review.. I try to find other things, but always use this one. It is the perfect color and consistency for my brows (which can be hard for blondes,) and I have been using it for several years now, and in the words of Borat, with great success!
HG!!! i have been using this for years and have tried other brow products but always end up coming back to this. i love the little brush that is attached to the cap its perfect for blending out any harsh lines. it can be used on its own but i like to use a clear brow gel to set it.
This eyebrown pencil works great for me and blends in well, I've used it time and time again. I use it to darken my brows, they aren't as full as I would like them and this eyebrow pencil does the job.
It's not my favorite brow pencil but it certainly is a quality product. I'm Asian with black hair and I found the dark brown pencil to be the best option offered by Rimmel. I purchased the black as well and found it just too dark. The dark brown isn't perfect though, I would have liked it better if it were less warm, but it's a decent match for my brows. The consistency is smooth and hard but it deposits color pretty easily. Actually, it's as if there is no middle ground. When using light strokes it applies so light that it's barely detectable and the slightest, tiniest, practically negligible addition of pressure in attempt to achieve some kind of color payoff results in too much color payoff - this is a pencil that can be conducive to heavy-handedness. Which is why that brush that's on the cap comes in very handy. It will soften your application if needed, and you probably will need it. This lasts throughout the whole day. This is a really great and cheap alternative to other brow pencils and powders on the market. About $3-$4 for .05 oz and it retains its point/shape for a while so it's an even better value. If I had a better color match I would probably use this over my hg pencil.
I have used this product (in dark brown) for a few years now, and I think that it serves as well as some of the Anastasia brow products. The price and quality are both great. I use it to fill in sparse areas in my eyebrows (for a natural look use quick, soft strokes) and sometimes to line my lower eyelids. One of the must-haves for my makeup bag.
