This stuff is phenomenal. I never used to wear polish on my finger nails because it just wasn't worth it for me...it would chip within a day no matter how great the polish. This has restored my faith in painting my nails again! My polish lasts for days and I work in a restaurant so thats saying something. I'm so happy I found about about this, thanks again MUA!!!

This is one of the very few products that I keep buying for several years now. I can apply ANY nailpolish (cheap or expensive) with this on top and I know it's going to last at least 4 days, often longer. And I know it's going to give it a beautiful glassy shine, no matter what polish is underneath. For that, i love it. It does take a little longer than 60 sec. to dry but that's ok with me. It still dries very quickly. It's easy to find, not too expensive and there is a fair amount of it in the bottle. More than good enough for me.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, this does get goey in the bottle after a while, so try to use it up fairly quickly.
EDIT 26/02/10
Just wanted to say that I still love this and still am using this all the time. Def. my HG.

My favorite Nail Polish only because it actually dries really fast. I'm not a nail person because every time I paint my nails i get impatient and start working on something else and then end up ruining them so bad I have to start over again or I give up. BUT THIS ONE... It dries in 2 mins literally! Love it! Only thing I really really really hate about this? It chips easily! =( I'll still buy it again because it dries fast and that is what I look for in a nail polish anyways.

Purchased this as the SV I had was gloopy and thick, plus Boots had a buy one get one half price. Insta-dri is not as thick as SV but it didnt provide the shine and gloss of SV. It doesnt dry in 30 secs as the packaging suggests, but definately is good to touch under a minute. I was impressed at how quickly it was fully dried.

I wear a nail colour for 3-4 days and usually it will chip and especially with the old gloopy SV, it will start to peel off. But SH kept my nail polish chip free for the entire 4 days. Great value for money!

If it wasnt on promotion, the actual price was something like £8 or so, which makes it the same-ish price as SV. But with SH can be bought in store and SV has to be ordered online, so with the postage charges, it should be more expensive that SH.

UPDATE- taking away 1 lippie. Other than not making my nails shiny, it "mattifies" my existing glossy np.

This was the first fast drying top coat I purchased. Right off the bat, I was AMAZED at how fast my polish would dry. I could touch it within a minute, and it was dent proof within 10. I was very impressed. And for the quick drying, this product is great.
However, as a top coat.... I am not a fan. It made all of my nail polish chip within the first 24 hours. The longest i had a mani last chipless with this TC was a day and a half. To me, it is just not worth it to have to completely redo your nails every day.... so for that reason I will not repurchase.

as a TC over wet polish i HATE this product. it chips within hours regardless of the polish i use it with.

that said, i am giving it 4 lippies because i do like it for a very specialized purpose. SH insta-dri TC is PERFECTION over konad stamps and other types of nail art. it is much thinner than seche vite or poshe, so it doesn't drag the design and leave brush marks. it also dries very quickly, so it's nice on top of all of those other layers.

i will never, ever use it as a regular TC on my fingernails, but over nail art it is truly a winner.

At 45yo, I've been trying products for 30 years- from dirt cheap to ridiculously over-priced. I've been getting mani/pedi's every two weeks for at least the past 20 years, like clockwork. This fast drying topcoat is my HG for nails.

I take this with me to every mani/pedi, and always keep a back-up bottle on hand. The brand of my nail color always varies. This makes sure my nails dry quickly enough for me to be able to go straight to the grocery store from the salon and do my shopping. (though of course, being a little careful, as we all know not all coats of any polish completely dry for a few hours).

I'm very rough with my hands and feet (I live in a warm climate and go barefoot or wear sandals a lot). I do a quick refresh on my fingers and toes once or twice between salon appointments with this stuff, and it keeps me shiny and chip free.

As long as this product is available, I'll never buy another brand of top coat. Within a couple of minutes of applying my last coat of polish, I apply one coat of this. Two minutes later, I apply a second coat. I make sure to run the brush along the edge of my nail tips so some of it goes underneath my nails. Almost immediately, my nails are dry to the touch. You still need to wait a couple of hours for your nails to dry completely through all the layers, but this gives you a little more freedom right off the bat. Best of all, it seems to add depth to my nail color and makes my nails super smooth and shiny. If I use this top coat, I can go 5-6 days before redoing my nails. With other top coats I've used (mainly Revlon and other Sally Hansen top coats), my nail tips would start chipping within a couple of days.

I wasn't even planning to buy this, but I was in the drugstore, and a couple colours of this polish caught my eye and I just had to try it. I ended up getting the colour Quick Sand, which is the most gorgeous peachy nude with silver microglitter to try out the formula. I'm not usually a fan of glittery nails, but this was really subtle and a unique colour.

My first surprise was the brush, which coincidentally, I love. It's a really wide, but flat, round-tipped brush that fits my nails perfectly. The design does mean you get a ton of polish on the brush, but it's easy enough to wipe off and once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze to apply. One coat was opaque, but I added a second to smooth it out. While I don't think it dried in sixty seconds like it claims, it did dry really fast. Ten minutes after I'd painted my nails I was able to go to bed and woke up with sheet imprints.

While I really liked the application, the lasting power wasn't the best and I found I had chips within a day or two, and tip wear within three.

Overall, I like the polish and I probably won't hesitate to buy if another colour grabs my eye, but I won't go out of my way to buy them, since there are better lasting polishes out there.

Is it too dramatic to say that this product has changed my life? No! Stumbling upon this product has re-ignited my passion for polish in a big way. I love the look of painted nails, but was beginning to grow tired spending so much time getting my application right, only to wake up in the morning with sheet marks on my "dry" nails. This product does exactly what it claims. It dries my polish almost instantly and protects my nails by creating a rock-hard barrier of protection.

I am fairly new to the fast-drying TC game. I have not tried Seche Vite or Posh. However, since this product is so affordable (under $6 Canadian) and widely available, I see little reason to look elsewhere. My new HG! I have ordered 4 new polishes because of this top coat and fallen back in love with mannies!
