wouldnt recommend this, expensive for what it is, but does last ages. didnt match my skin tone, would recommend high beam as a highlighter instead!
I bought this product because I needed a liquid highlighter that would work well on my fair cool pink skin and this has been excellent. The color is a pinked gold that doesn't add any real color, just shimmery warmth. I sometimes mix a little of this with my liquid foundation and I get a wonderful glow-y dewiness from it. I also use it as a highlighter and it does a fine job with that-not overly shimmery as has been my problem with highlighters in the past. Overall, good product-no complaints!

I am on the pale side, but as I mentioned in my review of High Beam, far prefer this product. This one is more of a pinky gold to me, and blends in more, and looks like I am glowing. High Beam just makes me look like I'm wearing white shimmer.

I have yellowish pale to medium skin and this didn't show up on my AT ALL. I use it to stretch out my liquid foundations in order to make it work for SOMETHING. Luckily I got this free (I won a Benefit giveaway with this and other products).
This product will give you a shimmery look, to sort of counteract the matte, cakeface look of just wearing foundation. gives you a healthy glimmer. even when i don't wear any makeup, i put this on my cheekbones.

Can you imagine a time when makeup horses lived without liquid highlighters? I know I can't. They are basically the magic touch that I cannot regain my youth without. I'm only 22 and this still takes years off of me. I either spread a light coating over my entire face prior to foundation, or if I'm in a hurry I dab it everywhere the light is sure to catch me. To the naked eye it's just a fleshy liquid, but once you rub it in, an ethereal pink glow materializes and appears as if it's always been there. I buy it because I really do believe it's the best product in its category.
I gave it four lippies because I just have an aesthetic love for this product. It is definitely not the thing I own that always makes me look pretty or even a product that lives up to my own expectations, but I just love it anyway. What can I say? I think we all have that luxurious product that just having it near us while we put on makeup makes us feel good. Well this is that product for me. Its my little talisman. A small fanciful bottle of pearlescent color that always seems so magical. I love it. Its not necessarily dramatic but if you go to sephora and fondle the cute little bottle obsessively, and feel the need for a dash of "moonlight" on your cheeks every now and again (however subtle), I assure you that merely having it on you dresser makes you feel so good that its worth every penny. At least for me...
I really like this product and it gives me that dewy look. But two things I didn't like were the nail polish applicator and it made my skin kind of greasy. Regardless I will probably buy this again.
This product is a nice color, creating lovely highlights in a very natural color. However, I don't think it works well for very pale skin types. I found it to work more as a bronzer than a highlighter. I also really dislike the fingernail polish type brush dispenser. It is gloopy, and doesn't offer any control, so it is pointless. That being said, I think that Moon Beam has a very lovely texture and sits nicely on the skin, really seeming to become part of it. If I had a darker skin tone, I am sure I would adore this and use it constantly.
I love this product - one of the best in Benefit's lineup, which provided me with a good entry into the world of highlighters. Moon Beam is a product with a color which is a little difficult to describe - it's base is a muted and desaturated banana yellow. To this shade, a vibrant pink luminescence is added, producing a peach colored liquid which adds a beautiful, although not entirely natural, "punch" to the skin. On my warm olive medium skintone, the yellow tinge blends right into the color of my skin, and the pink/peach luminescence stays for hours. Granted, this is a little difficult to blend properly (for which a lippy is being detracted) and can look garish and "disco-ball-ish" if too much is applied. I like to add a swipe of face powder on top - this turns the luminescence down a notch and provides for a much more natural look. I like the fact that this product plays well with others - topping with powder blush works wonderfully, and cream blush on top works even better.
