This is one of my favorite eye liners out there. It is long lasting, and just as it was said before, a little goes a long way. The brush is pretty good that comes with it as well. Always clean your makeup brushes, you don't need to use dirty brushes, especially in contact with the eye. I used to be all about liquid eyeliner, but I can't stop using gel now. It sets way better and lasts a lot longer, without you having to worry about it getting messed up.
Pretty good eyeliner, very long lasting and smooth application. Good packaging too, comes in a little glass pot. However, I don't know it it was just me but the black came off as a little silver/gray? And also, if you are a contacts wearer, BEWARE!! Do not use this on your tightline/waterline. It transferred onto my contacts and ruined them GRR!! :( But there was something I loved about this and it was the brush. Really high quality and also really good for applying eyeshadow on your lower lash lines. I would repurchase this, maybe in a different color though.

Smooth eyeliner, a little goes a long way, decent brush that comes with it - nice size and handy to place in a small pocket. Glass container doesn't contain a lot of product, but enough to last for ages. Eyeliner is waterproof but transfers to below my lower lash line after 2 hours!
I bought this in Charcoal, hoping that it would be a cheaper version of Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner in Granite, which is very pricy, considering the pot always dries out before I use it up. Alas, this Maybelline product was essentially a waste of the $8 I spent on it. When I first got it, it smudged and gave me raccoon eyes. Then it dried out within a couple of weeks, much faster than the BB gel eyeliner does, even though I kept it upside down with the lid on tightly. I think I'm going to give up on gel eyeliners.

I liked how it was really dark but smudges easily and ends up everywhere, did not last long. Another thing is that it is really hard to find it in black.
Pros:
-Its cheap.
-I don't use the brush it comes with because I prefer angled eyeliner brushes, but it is good!
-Staying power is impressive. 24H is a lie, but it does last until early evening with slight fading.
-Minimal "racoon eyes" effect (I haven't noticed any but my mom has)
Cons:
-I have this in brown, and its sparkly. And the glitter is visible once applied. Don't like that!
-Consistency is really thin and sheer, but you can get an opaque finish if you constantly dip your brush into the product. I prefer the consistency of Mac Fluidline, which is much thicker and more opaque.
Overall, I do like this product! I will continue buying it since its the cheapest gel liner I've used and liked. It does the job and lasts ages :)
I really love this! I like it a lot more than MAC's blacktrack fluidline and any liquid liners I have used in the past. I use a different brush with this, one I got in a Jemma Kidd palette that is very thin and flat - perfect for creating little brush strokes that I almost push (gently of course) into my lashline for a nice thin line to define my eyes. I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance underneath this, not sure if it really helps or not but give that a go if its not working for you without a base. Lasting power is absolutely wonderful, most eyeliners (EL doublewear, Lancome Artliner included) last very little time on my lids they usually start to flake off, but this one sticks around till I remove it with jojoba oil and a cotton pad at the end of the day. SO IMPRESSED! Especially for the price, LOVE!
Everyone seems to have had great luck with this particular gel liner, but unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. Just to let you know, I have extremely oily eyelids. I don't leave the house with eye makeup on without using my eye primer (I switch between Urban Decay and ELF, which IMO work about the same), even if I'm just wearing eyeliner for the day.
True, this eyeliner lasts longer on my eyelids than most. I love the consistency of the product. It's very creamy; the pot I got was fresh and ready to use. The brush is crap, but I prefer my own anyway.I got the brown eyeliner.
After about 5 hours of wear, the eyeliner creases like hell, even if I'm not particularly hot and sweaty that day. It might not crease on the balls of your eyes, but for me, it creased horribly in the inner corners of my eyes.
I thought this would be my HG gel liner--it would've been perfect because it's so cheap compared to other gel liners. For people like me with super oily lids, I recommend using the Revlon colorstay. The pigmentation isn't as defined, but it doesn't budge at all.

It's definately not as creamy as the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner but the lasting power is way better! It's weird because mine is very very waterproof, and my friend's is very un-waterproof. I wonder why... I would totally repurchase this in brown maybe.
I think some products must just not work for some people. So many reviewers loved this eyeliner and say how great it is. I love the price, the brush it comes with, and smaller size. However, as much as I wish it worked for me, it didn't. It ran like crazy and stung my eyes. It applied pretty well, and didn't feel dry at all to my like some people found. But it did not stay put.
Historically I've had a tricky time with mascara too and even with primer my eyeshadow starts creasing at the end of the day. I can't used eyeshadow as a liner (apply wet eyeshadow to the top lashes, it works find dry under my eyes) and elf cream eyeliner also ran and stung my eyes. So if you have those tendencies with cosmetics, I'd skip this.
I do use MAC fluidline, Clinque cream liners, and Stilia smudge pots without any problems (I haven't tried Bobbi Brown yet). I also can use most pencil liners and the mascara that changed my life was L'Oreal voluminous. If you have my struggles I highly recommend those products.
