I was hesitant to buy this balm since it's so expensive but I went ahead and bought the Rose Party Favors set (from Sephora) for $28 which was a great deal. I now know why this lip balm is so expensive...it's ahhhh-mazing! The packaging is so cute and practical. The lid twists off so that it won't come undone in your purse, etc. And the case is very heavy to protect the balm which is very soft. It feels amazing on my lips!

Giving it 4 stars only because the color is a little dark for me. I just stick to one coat for a sheer rose look.

Okay, so this is actually a very nice lipbalm. It smells really nice and fresh and it has very durable, nice looking packaging. It's quite moisturizing and it leaves a very nice sheer red tint to my lips. I also very much appreciate the SPF 15. Most lip balms with SPF 15 in it tend to really make the lips white and make you look dead :/ But because of the tint, it certainly doesn't. It's very easy to apply and the wording doesn't come off THAT easily. My tarte lip balm, the wording came off super easily.
However, I did mark down a lippie because of the PRICE. It's $22.50 for just a LIPBALM. And it's not like there is a TON of product in here. There's about as much as any other lip balm. You're mainly paying for the packaging seeing as how it's hard and durable. Not just plastic. I wouldn't be repurchasing for the fact that I just can't afford paying $22.50 for a new lip balm everytime! It's a nice product no doubt, but I'll just look for something similar that I can just get at the drugstore.

This is my favorite of the fresh sugar lip treatments and ive tried all of them to date-regular, passion, honey, plum+this. I like this best of the sugars cuz its very natural looking - not mlbb but mlbr r=rosier- a pretty rosy flush. i know its expensive and i know other brands like burts bees etc have similar colors im sure but i am just a sucker for the lemon sugaryness of it and it feels so good on my lips. Only complaint is that sometimes if its in a pocket thats too close to my body it seems to soften up+almost melt (just from body heat I guess but no other lipsticks I keep in my pocket do this...) so I have to keep it in an outer pocket in my work scrubs jacket to avoid a soft squishy mess. I will repurchase until or unless I find its equal for a lower price....

I wouldn't mind paying a high amount for a lip treatment if it works great and looks great. Unfortunately in both cases, Rose Lip Treatment failed...

The color is pretty, a sweet natural sheer red. it is super sheer so it really is a tinted lip balm, and even after layering like crazy it didn't give me a natural rosy look...my lips are naturally pale so this really only gave a tiny hint of color. don't expect any miracle! the color's cute, but certainly not fantastic. I've been using the deluxe sample that came in the Fresh 500pt gift from Sephora and from the get go, the color did not wow me.

I would've given better rating if the product itself worked great, but that falls short as well. The texture is soft but in a very waxy way, i find. After application, the balm mainly just sits on top of my lip rather than sinking in to really protect and moisturize. It comes off as easily as most other lipbalms which means frequent reapplication. While it is nonsticky and mostly comfortable, i find my lips continue to peel and break just as before i started using this balm. for $22 for a lipbalm, i should be expecting miracle here!

compared to my Japanese Mogitate lipbalms (which were cheaper even with the exchange rate), this falls short by far. I think it lasts only a smidgen longer than the Mogitate, feels thicker, doesn't really seem to do anything to treat my lips other than put a waxy (though soft) layer around it (and make me feel like i have SOMETHING ON which i hate in lipbalms), and has a colored tint. For that matter the Mogitate lipbalms smells super good while this thing gave me this mild synthetic/fake rose kinda smell. not a fan.

if i wanted a lipbalm that works, i go to my mogitate. if i want a good lip color, i go to any of my beloved moisturizing lipsticks. if i wanted a sheer wash of color, i can go for one of my sheerer lipsticks or layer the mogitate under another lipstick. there's absolutely nothing that special about this $22 lip balm that other cheaper products are not doing.

i was pretty tempted to buy a full size one to try after reading all the hype, but now i'm REALLY glad i didn't waste any of my money on it.

I love 99% of this product. The color is perfect for me, the texture is creamy but not at all sticky, the packaging is pretty great, it moisturizes brilliantly. The only drawback is that I have to reapply this almost hourly. It just doesn't stay on me. I have used the untinted Fresh Lip Treatment before and have not had this problem. I don't understand, unless I haven't noticed that I've turned in to a chronic lip licker. It's a pity but I'll just have to keep whipping it out of my bag at regular intervals. Sigh. It's only worth this constant reapplying because everything else about it is great; otherwise I wouldn't bother.

I adore this lip balm! It is amazing and leaves my lips so pillowy soft. I love the Rose color as well, since it gives my lips a nice healthy glow without being too red or overbearing. The taste is still lemony like the original version, but just with a nice hint of color. It lasts for ages on my lips too, which is another benefit. My other love about this balm is that the packaging is a substantial metal, and the cap screws on so no worries about losing it or having it open in your purse. Just be careful not to let it get too hot or else it will definitely melt due to the soft, creamy texture!

I gave it all 5 in all the rating. Of course not a good thing for price. Yeah...the price, the only drawback :( This lip treatment is so soft and moisturizing. Honestly the best I've ever used. I have uneven lip color but this shade covers it pretty good. Also soften my whole look. On the days when I'm wearing light makeup I put this on and I look so naturally glowing and healthy. I can't get my eyes off the mirror *_* Best of all, it has SPF 15. So I definitely will repurchase it again and again. AH! love the smell of it too <3 continued >>

I am addicted to this stuff, the only drawback is the price! Its a little ridiculous but then again I have (and likely will) repurchase. I love tinted lip balms and this gives just the right amount of tint. it actually moisturizes my lips for a long time after I apply it (can't say the same for many other lip balms) and love that it has SPF.

UPDATE: Came to my senses lol....I knw it's way to expensive for a lip balm. Won't repurchase......I've been using rosebud salve and it's very moisturizing, doesn't have the pretty rosey color but I just put on something else for a little color and I'm good! (only took it down one lippy because it is good stuff unfortunately it's just way to expensive)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! Smells delicious, feels AMAZING on my lips. Moisturizes and makes my lips so soft. I always find myself coming back to this lip balm (I've repurchased 3-4 times already). I've tried so many others and nothing makes my lips feel like this stuff does. I took off a lippie because I really wish this stuff wasn't so expensive! $22.50 for a lip balm is just a tad too much IMO. Anyways, they have 5 different colors (including clear) I've only tried the Rose tinted one and I love how it makes my lips look so healthy and it's a very natural hint of rosy color.......I may try the honey tinted one next! There's probably less expensive lip moisturizers that are just as good, but I haven't found one yet....so till then this is my HG!!!
