I got a mini of this from a swap, and i LOVE it!
+It smells great
+Great packaging (It has a screw on top and is metal)
+Super moisturizing, I barely apply it all day, so lots of product for the price
-really expensive for lip balm
-can only get at Sephora
Overall though it's a great product, and if it's your birthday you can get some for free at Sephora!
I liked this, but didn't love it. I think it is expensive for the amount of product and the lasting power of it. The color is sheer & matches the color of my lips perfectly so it doesn't show up that much differently. I like the idea of it containing spf in it. It is moisturizing, but not moisturizing enough to help heal overly chapped lips. I'm considering buying the advanced lip therapy to see how much more moisturizing it is. However, due to the price of this, I wouldn't repurchase. There's better ones out there for half or even less the price of this.
I got this as my birthday freebie back in November (it came with the original Sugar lip treatment in mini tubes) and I've got to say, I'm impressed. It seems to work well with my body chemistry because it really does help with my chapped lips. The color is so pretty-just a nice, fresh wash of pinkish color that brightens up my face and is perfect in the spring and summer when I don't want to wear anything on my face. The only cons are the packaging-I don't particularly like unscrewing the top, and the fact that the product is so, so soft that if you throw it in your purse on a warm day, it will be melted and messy by the end of it. Still, chances are I will purchase this once my sample is done.
I received this as my Beauty Insider birthday gift from Sephora and I love the packaging and the scent, and it feels smooth on my lips. Can't say I'll buy it again though, the price is rather steep for a product you could get for maybe four dollars, like Softlips or something.
I don't get the hype about this stuff. It's just a very "meh" product for the price. It smells great, but goes on thin, like vaseline, so it has no staying power. I like my balms to stay there and do their protective job, especially if I need the spf. This one slides right off.
I don't know what is wrong with me for putting off trying this for so long, but it is a *perfect* tinted lip balm. I got it for free in Sephora's birthday gift (part of a mini duo with the classic Sugar Lip Treatment) and I'm obsessed. Love the smooth texture, love the pinky-red hue, love the SPF.
$22.50 for the full size at Sephora.
Too waxy and does absolutely nothing for the condition of my lips. Just sits there and does nothing. The tint is beautiful but will not repurchase especially for 22.50. I still have not found my HG lip treatment and this is DEFINITELY not it :( Every Fresh lip treatment has failed for me
I also received this lip balm as a beauty insider free birthday gift from Sephora. I really like the lemony scent, the feel of it on my lips, and the cute tube that it comes in. While I am enjoying it, I'm not a big fan of tinted lip balms and don't think I will purchase this when I run out. I recently fell in love with Revlon lip butters that are a lipstick, lip balm, and lip gloss all in one and I would much rather purchase those because they are actually a much better lip balm than this with a color payoff, not to mention a fraction of the cost of this lip balm.
I got this for my birthday as a Beauty Insider.
This balm is the best I've ever tried, tinted or otherwise. The slip it gives is amazing, without being too heavy or suffocating. The tint is a bit sheer for my tastes, but since it is marketed as a balm I do not have too many qualms with that. The base of the lip balm is .. adhered poorly, I guess - what I mean is, when I extend the balm too far, it wiggles. The shine this balm gives is beautiful. My lips do not look much different from my original lip color, but my lips are fairly pigmented to begin with. I may try the passion colour instead. Overall, this is an excellent balm even given the high price tag on the full size product. I would definitely repurchase.
I will totally eat the words I spoke about this before trying it. When I saw the price - 22.50 for a LIP BALM - I was appalled. But this is Sephora Beauty Insider's birthday gift so I happily accepted my 2 free mini versions. As I hang my head in shame, I declare they might be worth their outrageous price. My lips have NEVER felt softer even after 1 application. EVER. This lasts forever and the tint is a very subtle pink. The smell is pleasant, almost a hint of eucalyptus, and I like that the cap screws on instead of just pops on. I can't find anything wrong with this product and can't believe how soft my lips are. Ugh...the only downside is the price! But if this little tube lasts forever, buying the full size might be worth it as it'll be a twice a year purchase!
