I know lots of people love this brush but I'm a little bit on the fence. I use this with liquid foundation
Leaves a lovely finish in the skin
Bristles are not scratchy
Sheds every time its washed
Takes 2 days to dry
Soaks up product if it is applied directly onto the brush
To stop the brush soaking up too much product I apply foundation with my fingers and then use the brush to buff it in and this gives a very nice finish. However, I do find this brush too large as it gets product into my eyebrows and hairline very easily and it takes 2 days to dry after being washed. I think this is a good brush to try if your looking for a type of stippling brush as it is inexpensive and does leave a nice finish. I will be getting more of this style of brush but will not repurchase this exact one.
great product. very soft
Almost 1200 reviews. 95% approval rating. Can't say much more than has already been said. I like this brush for setting powder and for applying liquid and mineral foundations.
I like this brush. It's cheap. And sturdy. The bristles rarely fall out. I have a Sephora blush brush (small head) that constantly sheds. It was in a set but costly. I use this brush to apply my concealer (I don't use foundation right now).
i am completely in LOVE with this brush. it's so silky and soft against my skin. i never really use it for powder though...i use it more for blushes and sometimes foundation. i love the elf line for having such high quality in their brushes for their prices. this brush is AMAZING for $3, i highly recommend this product.
This is the only brush I have that I need to own multiples of. For $3 each and likely, you can get it cheaper with a coupon, there's absolutely no brush like it. It buffs in foundation like a dream, liquid or powder, the bristles are just dense enough and they're just right for getting into any area that needs coverage. It's great for blending out blush, cream or powder, and getting down the neck. And the size if perfect. To keep it short and sweet, this brush is for everyone, the price is unbeatable, and it's a good quality.
Wow, I did not realize the crapload of good reviews on this. Well, I'm another one of those. This brush...my goodness. It's just amazing. It is by far THE SOFTEST BRUSH I've ever used. I mean that. It feels like silk! Of course I'll use it on my face! It's not scratchy and it's cheap and effective. ELF has made so many great products and I think this is obviously one of the best. Their brushes are reasonably cheap and amazing. This whole company really accomplished a lot and they are just... wow. I'm totally blown away by this brush. It also even looks professional! Okay, I'm done but this is amazing. Definitely 100% worth a try. I promise you'll love it. Goodness sakes...
I have got two of these. The first one, I could sense that the handle is coming off soon but not a biggie considering of the price and how long it's been my faithful (got it when it first launched). Got a backup last year and both have really dense 'hair'. Love that I could do stippling with my powder/liquid foundation and I use it for application of BB cream (crazy obsession of mine) as well. Great to be used with blusher and other powders/big areas you wanna apply. I guess I'll repurchase it for as long as ELF is producing it.
I've owned this brush for about a year now. I've used it for a bunch of different things, liquid foundation, pressed powder, bronzer, etc, and although I liked it with those (except liquid foundation, it didn't distribute the product evenly and I pretty much had to redo it with my fingers), but mostly used it with pressed powder, however I recently got a new buffing brush that I use for both liquid foundation and pressed powder, I didn't want this brush to go to waste though, so I decided to try it with something else. I've found it works great with blush, you dip the brush in the blush and then gently press onto your cheeks and then blend, it looks really natural.
This brush is super awesome! I use it daily with my Mac msfn & sometimes with my Careblend powder, its a must for buffing. I ordered this brush a few years back & was very impressed. Then I read reviews of ladies getting "bad" brushes, shedding very badly & the quality of the newer brushes not being as good. So I was leary as it was time for me to replace my brush & I wanted to replace it with the same Elf or the Mac kabuki, but for 3 bucks...hey. My friend Sarah picked me up one at her Target & I got a winner,I've had it a few wks & its been washed, used, cleaned a few times. So I'm a happy camper. At 3 dollars I've prob grab another one.
