Eh. After all the good reviews and such I expected much higher quality. Despite what I have read and heard, the shimmer is a little on the chunky side. It's not a terrible product and I use it a lot just because I paid so much for it and want to use it up. It will probably last forever though, there is so much product I haven't even made a dent. The color is nice besides, not bronzey at all and I have light skin so that's good. I believe that if you need a highlighter that is not glittery, you need to get a cream highlighter that is more finely milled than this. Overall, this is a decent product but not worth the price at all. Do some more research and get something cheaper that performs equally or better.

I have been searching for some time now for THE perfect highlighter. I recently bought NARS Albatross after some research and sampling it at Sephora. However, after using it for a couple weeks on and off, I realized it still wasn't doing exactly what I needed from a highlighting product. I still like it and intend on using it, but I am definitely overjoyed that I stumbled across MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish. FINALLY I found a highlighter that blends with my skintone without looking obvious, whereas Albatross seemed to give off too much of a yellowy-white cast.

I have found that this product blends so very seamlessly with my skin that I risk overapplying it if I'm not in proper lighting! That's not a complaint, though.. this is something I've been looking for in a highlighter ever since I knew what highlighters were. It's not glittery, overly shiny, overy powdery or obvious looking on my skin tone (NC-20).

I am really very pleased and impressed with this stuff, but then again it's really hard not to be when it comes to MAC products. Definitely my new highlighting HG!

Ehhh...this is a bit too overhyped IMO. Don't get me wrong, it's quite a nice product, but nothing special at all. On my NC40 skin this looks almost identical to Benefit's High Beam liquid highlighter. It's basically the powder form of that - silvery yet slightly pink toned & shimmery. This does not look like a champagne or golden colour on me. It really isn't anything unique, you could find much cheaper dupes of this. The texture is okay; applies/blends pretty easily. It gives me a glow, albeit a rather obvious glow. It doesn't look that natural, unless you apply it with a duo fibre brush. Overall it's okay, but I wouldn't repurchase.

LOVE! This product is so great! The product itself is gorgeous. It sort of doubles as a highlight and an all over face powder for me. I use an extremely light hand and apply it all over for a nice dewy glow. Then I add a little extra to highlight a few key areas. Definitely be careful of going overboard with it though cause it can look quite glittery if done wrong. Although this is a little pricey, it is a very good product. Will definitely rebuy if and when my bank account allows me to.

Ths was my first MSF and I love it, just the right amount of color, shimmer, and warmth for my NW15 skin. I wear it with my brown/bronze looks!

I bought this on a trip to NYC looked very pretty on display, but i didnt find it all the great when applied on my NC15 skin , it didnt Highlight anything for me. I ended up swapping it and buying a D/s dupe which i actually rather , more Pigmented IMO. The dupe is Prestige skin loving minerals in pure shimmer

This is my everyday highlighter. Applies on very easily and the highlight is beautiful, but not super shimmery. Noticeable but not too harsh :D I typically apply it with a blush brush or a angled contour brush. Most of my friends who used it when we go out also are in love!

I loveeee this mineralize skinfinish. I use it as a highlighter on the top of my cheekbones above my blush, on my forehead, above my cupids bow, and a touch on my chin.
I'm very pale it gives my skin just a pop of color and dewyness without making me look too bronzed or orangey.
I use it with a light hand and it barely shows up (but in a good way).

I agree with some of the other reviewers about this product being to glittery and shimmery. it just isn't fine enough particles to look nice on my skin. I'm sure this would look good on skin that is extremely smooth and normal/dry. but in my case (large pores and oily skin) it doesn't work!

Great highlighter all around. I went to MAC looking for a bronzer and saw this. This comes in a deeper, bronzier color too but I ended up buying soft and gentle bc this shade can be a lot more versatile.
It adds a very nice glow to the face while brightening up the entire complextion. It can work as a multitasker as well: use it as a highlighter, all over finish powder or even as eyeshadow.
Overall, a great purchase. It's a bit pricey but you get a lot of this product plus a little goes a long way.
ps. MUST USE A LIGHT HAND OTHERWISE U END UP LOOKING REALLY SHINY - not in an oily way but like u have too much highligher on.
