Wow! I'm 42. Got a sample from my friend. WOW! It cleared up my skin! Faded my dark spots! No lines. My face looks plumper when i wake up. It's an amazing product! Balances out your skin so it's not oily and it's not dry. VERY expensive!!! VERY VERY! But worth it! It's a very light watery serum which i like. I don't like grease on my face. Sinks right into the skin and leaves it so soft and smooth! I'm also using the Eye Serum as well with this. Another amazing product! WOW!!!! BUY IT! Or get a sample to try... you'll be as hooked as i am.
UPDATE 2 YEARS LATER. I'm 44. I look younger than I did two years ago. LOL. True story. This is a fantastic product. I use it in the morning and at night too. Makes the product finish faster but twice the results on my face. A winner!
Okay, so I purchased this product after using a sample of it for about 3 weeks. I didn't really expect this product to do anything for me, why I don't know but I just didn't. After hearing so many rave reviews, I thought that I would try a sample first rather than buy it to be disappointed. Seeing as how I have always had a problem with dry skin, especially in the winter, I never thought that I would find a product that would really help it. Although the rep at the counter didn't indicate anything about this product being hydrating, I was expecting some other result. Instead, I woke up to extra moisturized skin day after day after day. I had a small wrinkle next to my mouth that has vanished by about 70% since using this serum. My skin has never been more hydrated and my skin tone has evened out. I broke down and purchased the biggest bottle that they had and was able to get a free gift with purchase which included another sample of the night repair. There was no way that I was going to pass up a deal like that. Yes, it's pricey but it is worth every penny. Sometimes you get EXACTLY what you pay for and this one is a winner in my book!
Actually, I didn't "buy" this product the first time around--I got it as a free gift with a purchase. The EL people were smart to do this, because I don't spend much on skin care ( I honestly don't believe something is better just because it costs more), yet at this point, I would purchase this serum. First, a bottle lasts forever. I only use this about every other night, and only on specific parts of my face, and my tiny trial bottle has lasted over a year! It seems to soothe the areas of my face where I have some kind of irritation/excema/rosacea. And I put it under my eyes, where I'm starting to get some fine lines. While I don't believe this stuff can stop wrinkles in their tracks or anything, I do think it adds to the effectiveness of my skincare regimen. Fortunately, I have another tiny bottle of this tucked away, so I don't have to decide anytime soon whether I would actually shell out for this. But for now, I'm saying yes.
Edit: I used 2 sample bottles of this, and I do think it did *something* for my skin. But the results really weren't noticeable enough for me to purchase.
I just love it!It'sthe best product ever seen, my skin is inlove with this serum.
I've using this product for 8 weeks, and i love it.... I start to see result within2-3weeks. My skin is more hydrate, bright ,plump, and smooth . The best thing is my pores look more refine and my acne scarring seem to fade too. The only thing that I dun like is the price, for 50ml is $150 Australian dollar, so after i finish this bottle. I might check online to get better deal.
I used ANR once a few years ago, when my skin was going through hell due to work and health-related stress and it worked wonders. So when I came back from a holiday with dull and peeling sunburned skin, I didn't hesitate to turn to ANR again.
My forehead which looked like a windshield shattering into a million tiny pieces whenever I raised my eyebrows (and I could almost hear a crinkling sound effect!) was successfully rehabilitated in less than a week! (I also used my hydrating mask everyday for the first few days after I came back). It has been two weeks now since it's re-introduced into my skincare routine and I have to say, my skin looks even better than it was before I left for my trip.
This time around I did not neglect to use it on my neck too and I'm pleased to say that it looks less and less of a chicken's now :)
Sure there are cheaper stuffs out there but this works really well for me so I can't complain. Now that I am *ahem* older, it's staying as a permanent fixture on my dresser so will definitely repurchase.
I just wish that it still comes in glass bottle though, but no biggie!
I am a bit on the fence about this product. The first few days of use, I noticed that my skin was brighter and clearer. After a few weeks of use, I found that there didn't appear to be much difference. I find that it works best for me when I use this for a week each month as opposed to daily.
The design of the bottle is fab but it is pretty expensive in the UK.
The 1st couple of times i used it. I woke up with glowing skin, yes as if it had repaired itself. However, after continuous use (day and night) under my makeup, it created a lot of whiteheads. So then i only used it once a day, and the whiteheads remained. Overall, for that price i dont think its a miracle product and i wont buy again.
Have been using this serum for many years now. Put it on at night after cleansing my face. Don't need moisturizer to accompany the serum. Find my laugh line actually fade away. Skin looks fresher, more refined, and healthier in colour, pores look smaller.
It's fantastic. Really great product
EDIT: been a yr or so.. this is still my go-to cure for when my skin feels inflamed or irritated. just a tiny dab is all i need and it feels better. i don't use it regularly anymore, only to calm down my skin. yogurt mask is also good but i think this is worth having still.
CRAAAZY that this breaks people out! For me, this does the exact opposite--it stops breakouts dead in their tracks, and heals old pimple-induced blemishes!!!!
I took this with me on vacation, and anytime I noted a pimple forming due to stress/bad weather/whatever, I'd dab this on at night and the next morning it'd be totally healed. Also.... helps with OLD blemishes (you know, the kind that have TECHNICALLY gone, but still seem to hang around, a ghost of their former selves, in rough and pigmented patches?)
Similarly, this morning I realized I got a nasty painful pimple in a spot I don't normally get any--btw, this coincided neatly with recent usage of Dior Airflash (AMAZING FOUNDATION but with many cons, one of them being that my skin HATES it..still, I recommend it HIGHLY just cuz of the incomparable finish)...
Anyway, dabbed on EL serum... guess what, the pain from it is already gone, and it's REDUCED in size/redness!
So yeah. I only use it for such moments, otherwise, I don't really note any difference, like if it's even doing anything normally. I just save it for bad skin times... it miraculously seems to heal it up within that day, or by the next day! Weird but true!
Finally, it seems to help fade away old scars, although I'm not 100% sure about this, so don't take my word for it. (Could just be natural healing/renewal process).
I was totally prepared to hate this, thinking it'd be useless and a purchase I'd regret.. well, exact opposite is true, and it's been, what, over a month? Also, I think this'll last me a loooong time, esp since I don't use it every night.
The lame EL claims that this will stave off aging process, blah blah blah, i don't believe that. I think only an idiot or very desperate person would believe that they can totally prevent aging process putting their hopes in a jar on every day. Seriously, facial aging and wrinkle formation is muuuuch more complicated than that. For example, the bones in your face, the facial cartilage and the whole structure that is holding your face together, so to speak, deteriorates and 'shrinks' over time. Most age induced wrinkles form due to this and they are unpreventable.
People who go into mild depression because the face in the mirror is no longer as pretty and youthful as it used to be need to get a grip on themselves, stop placing too much value in their outward appearance, and accept it. Like the japanese idea of wabi sabi, that aging and imperfections add aesthetic beauty and should be accepted as natural process of life not a disease or something to be cured. The Estee claims are really deceptive n false. This or any other product can mainly improve texture but not treat the underlying cause.
