This is the only mousse I've ever used and will continue to use. I've bought I don't know how many cans of it over the years. I hope it's never discontinued.
I think the reviewers below me make a lot of excellent points. Yep, it doesn't have very strong hold, and yep, it's not the absolute OMG best leave-in conditioner ever. But it doesn't boast any of that, it's a hybrid between the two and I love it to pieces because it works wonders for my hair.
It's probably better for people who have thick, wavy/curly hair. I love how it makes my hair so soft and manageable.

This has to be the only styling product that I've used continuously for over a year. I have long, curly hair down to about the middle of my back and, unless I use product, my hair ends up a wavy, semi curly frizz ball. I let my hair air dry while doing my make up, then run this through. When my hair dries, I have curly little ringlets all over my head. The hold lasts the majority of the day. Considering I live in South Florida which is extremely humid, I consider this a great product for that alone. If you have curly hair as well, I'd give it a try.
I love this stuff! It smells fantastic, and it does not dry out my hair. I have used this in damp hair before blow drying, and I also use this on dry hair before using a curling iron. This will hold my curls (although they do loosen) all day long, and there is no crunch which is so hard to find in products that offer good hold.

i used to use this every day and it was great just alittle is all you need i dont know why i quit using it
I like this and always keep it on hand. I think the reviewers below me hit the nail on the head here. If you want something with a lot of hold, don't buy this. If you want a lot of moisture, don't buy this. I have fine hair- but a lot of it, which is fairly long and a little bit of natural wave, but needs prompting to look put together. I find this has just enough hold and moisture to keep the frizz at bay and define the wave enough that it looks like wave, rather than just awkward half-straight hair (which is what happens if I don't use any product). I mostly use this on lazy days, after I shower I brush my hair, run this through, spend 20 seconds drying my bangs, then twist my hair into and bun until its almost dry then let it down so I have some really nice soft wave- that looks soft AND feels soft, which is why I love this. That is exactly how I did my hair in my profile pic if anyone is curious to see what kind of style Im talking about. Good luck!

I think this might have just been a bad choice on my part. I see how this could work well for others, but it's not really giving me what I'm looking for. I have long, fine, poker straight hair that I blowdry and curl in waves from the cheeks down. What's great about this product is that my hair feels very soft and touchable... more so than with any other product that gives "hold" that I've ever used. The problem is that the light hold doesn't work so well for me and the curls are almost 100% gone by now 2 hours after I did them. My hair is fine and soft already, so I don't think it really needs something to make it softer -- the effect is just limp. I'm going to try with a few sprays of Bumble and Bumble ultra hold styling spray tomorrow and see if that does the trick. In the end I think this is best for people who already have curls -- or hair that holds curl very well.
PROS
- soft hair
- absolutely no crunch
CONS
- not going to give you much hold (like the packaging says) if you're looking for that
UPDATE!
Okay, so this works well for me when used with another stronger hold product. I use it on days when I want the curls to appear soft and touchable and I'm okay with my hair being pretty much straight by the end of the day.

I think people have some high expectations for a simple product.
This is not a strong hold mousse, which it says. So thin/weak/straight hair is not gonna turn into a head of spiralling curls. Also, this isn't a reconstructive masque, or a heavy duty leave-in conditioner. It's more a mousse that won't strip your hair, and will help to leave it softer. I have wavy/curly hair that I straighten daily. During the summer this product is golden. I use it all summer, getting out of the pool/beach, I just run some through, it helps bring out my hairs natural curls, without killing it.
Are there better strong hold mousse's? Yes, but this product does not boast that. Are there better leave-in conditioners? Yes, but this product doesn't brag about that either. It's a best of both worlds, and for that I gave it a 5.

For reference, I have wavy, processed, shoulder-length hair which I'm trying to grow out. I bought this to cut down on my present 2-step routine of leave in and mousse. I really liked the conditioning-aspect of this product - my hair felt really soft, but it didn't do much for hold or definition of my waves. Also, it wasn't enough to condition the ends of my hair, which are really dry - I had to add some jojoba oil to soften them. The packaging also bugged me, since the nozzle kept popping off. I'm on the fence about repurchasing - I think there are better leave in conditioners out there.

I love this mousse! I have pretty thin hair that gets oily throughout the course of the day. Many styling products make it get oily a lot faster. This product makes my hair feel great and behave after I blow dry and go over it with a straightening iron. I've actually purchased this mousse twice... I went back to it after trying other mousses.

This is currently one of my staples. When I'm lazy and don't feel like blow drying my hair and giving it a break(which is like every day recently) I use this and I love the soft waves it gives me. I use it directly out of the shower on towel-dried hair and then twist and put my hair in a clip. When I unclip it later, my already semi-wavy hair has really nice piecey waves. I woudln't call it a leave in conditioner though, but it''s definitely not sticky or drying.
