For my fine, dry, colored hair, this stuff is a money saver as well as a hair saver! In the past I have spent no expense purchasing salon brands to help put adequate moisture back into my hair, and this product not only works as well as the best, it out preforms many!
This is the best conditioner, ever! I will never use anything else because nothing else works as good as this.
Its a thick & rich conditioner that i only use on the length of my hair and i massage a little in the bottom part of my neck where my hair always gets tangled.
I have long, straight, thin hair.
This product makes my hair so smooth and easy to brush compared to every other conditioner i have used. The smell doesn't bother me and it is not so strong that it is lingering all day, which is good because that would give me a major head ache.
The cost is $5-7 for 8.5oz) and it is worth every penny! (even my h likes it! which i don't know why he would be using conditioner on 2 inch hair! lol) continued >>
I'll start my review by mentioning that I dye my hair a lot. I had virgin hair for a while & wanted a black-brown (1st time dying on virgin hair). Well it didn't stay dark enough so I went black. I had used Revlon colorstay (2nd-over the 1st black-brown) and it just fried my hair. That type of "fried" that you can't even run a brush through it when it's dry type. I was so sad and didn't think i'd ever get my hair decent again to be able to run a brush through it. Well this went beyond my expectations. My virgin hair is pretty "average" and this conditioner made my fried hair silky. The hair at my scalp is no longer so thick & coarse a brush would get stuck. I'm 100% positive if I ran a brush through it right now it'd just glide through. I love this tube so much because of what it has transformed my hair into. I also like tubes better than tubs for conditioners. And fyi everyone: this product is better than sally's beauty supply's ion coditioner, the Aussie 3minute one, & the Burts Bees Shea& Grapefruit conditioner. Those never did anything when I've fried my hair in the past. Yes this review is only after one use but I think if it can turn my fried hair into softer-than-virgin hair I'm happy! I'll update this as I use it to see if it continues being so awesome.
Update (12/25/11): Been using this everyday since my review and still loving it! It still makes my hair soft after so many uses (unlike other conditioners that build up and seem to stop working). Good product for such a low price! continued >>

I have been more pleased with this conditioner than not only any other drug store conditioners but even with some higher quality conditioners that I've tried. I am pleased with how my hair feels after use, it's pretty smooth. That being said I am still always on the hunt for the perfect conditioner & a little more bang for my buck. This one is a little on the pricey side, but I have found that Walmart & Target sell it for around 5 bucks.
Pros:
No residue left behind
Fairly pleasant smell
Descent at conditioning hair
Cons:
A little pricey
Sometimes have to apply conditioner a couple times to get hair smooth continued >>
I was looking for a conditioner that would be hydrating, but one that I could also use every day. I picked this stuff up at Target for around $5, because there was a coupon attached to it, so I thought I'd try it.
First, I like the texture of the conditioner when it comes out of the bottle - thick and not drippy - so I thought it would really moisturize well. It didn't.
Second, my hair felt like I had rubbed lotion into it instead of conditioner. It was hard to get out, my hair never felt "rinsed". I only use this on the lower half of my hair, from the ears down - not on the roots...but I swear, it really weighs my hair down, and it smells weird.
Lastly, it does not detangle well at all. I have a LOT of long, thin hair, which tangles easily. Most conditioners can untangle it pretty well, but not this stuff. I still have to use a spray in detangler after I shower, and it still takes me several minutes to comb out all of the knots in my poor hair.
The bottle design is nice, the smell is pretty bad, and I won't purchase it again.
I really like this conditioner! I have medium-thick, wavy-straight hair that is not colored or styled but it began getting very dry (straw-like) and tangely when I was using a shampoo/conditioner for "that tosselled beach look." I feel like this conditioner has been helping to rehydrate my hair. I have been using it with an herbal essence moisturizing shampoo I had on hand so I cannot say how this conditioner would work with its combo shampoo. I can't say much either way for the smell- it's not amazing but not bad.
This is the best conditioner I've ever used. I bought it after I read the rave reviews on here and decided to try it out. I have slightly wavy hair and this is so far the only product that does wonders for my hair. It leaves my hair non-greasy, and non-frizzy as well. I didn't use it one day and used a Suave conditioner instead, and my hair was frizzy. I am on my second tube of this and will continue to repurchase. My hair feels incredibly soft, looks incredibly shiny and is not weighed down one bit. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone with the same hair type as me. Curly hair might need more moisture, and pin straight hair might be weighed down. I'm not sure and couldn't tell anyone with those hair types how this product would be for them.

Man, I must have gotten the spoiled tube because everyone on MUA is raving about the scent. Mine smells like the drawing salve (ichthyous salve) that our moms and grammas used for zits. It smells exactly like PRID ointment - sulfurous and medicine-y.
I could forgive the stank if it worked, but it didn't. I have waist length fine hair but loads of it. The last five or so inches are fried from outdoorsy sports.
In addition to smellin like poo, this condish did zip for my hair. Didn't even detangle. At least detangle or something but no, the same old hair (it even knocked out the shine on the "good" section of my hair, bra strap on up).
No love for this at all. If it smelled good then maybe. I can only think that I got an old/bad tube and maybe that accounts for the pong and lack of function!

This is a great conditioner when your hair needs some moisture but is having issues with being weighed down. I keep about 3 conditioners in the shower at any given time (so I can use whatever my hair needs!). I purchased this along with the shampoo and both of them have been winners so far! Although I don't use this conditioner every day, it is awesome when my hair needs a good thick conditioner that doesn't weigh hair down, as sometimes moisturizing conditioners will do that. If you have curly, frizzy, lots of hair or dry hair, this would be something worth trying out. If it works, for around $5 its worth keeping around!
Update: I no longer use this conditioner. I prefer to use the deep treatment rather than this one. It has the same moisturizing properties as this, but I can use less and slather another conditioner over it and reap the benefits. I have found a regimen that works extremely well that does not contain this as part of it.
