This is my HG moisturizer. I found it about 4 months ago, and ever since, I don't think I will ever switch to a different one. It absorbs into my skin quickly, and moisturizes my skin without making me feel oily. It doesn't break me out, and has SPF. It also has a nice smell.

I love this lotion! I use it every morning and have repurchased it several times. It is more moisturizing than a lot of other daytime lotions with SPF 15 in them, but not as heavy or greasy as creams can be. It soaks in quickly, and has a very inoffensive scent. Because I have very dry skin, I usually use jojoba or monoi oil underneath my face lotion and overnight cream, but I think that anyone with normal to oily skin would be fine with this on its own. As it is, it is so inexpensive, gentle on my sensitive skin, and effective that I don't mind that I still have to go through this extra step (it is something I do morning and night no matter what else I use on my skin).

If you are looking for a gentle, effective moisturizer with a bit of sun protection in it, you can't go wrong with this. It's inexpensive, has a very faint and pleasant scent, and moisturizes all day. It's worth pointing out that while this contains a chemical sunscreen, it also has a physical sunblock in it as well. It does not leave a white cast on me, but I do like the fact that it doesn't have more chemical sunscreens in it than necessary.

The packaging is all pretty and dainty but I'd stay a thousand feet away from this product. I used this a few times and it caused major damage to my skin. Lots of whiteheads (immediate reaction to some ingredient) and red, dry patches.

The ingredient list is deadly. Vinyl complexes, methicones....it is horrendous. I cannot understand how Trader Joe's concocted this product, when a few other of their beauty products are so decent.

I really wanted to love this product, considering how cheap it is. I tried using it during the hot summer, and that was such a bad idea. It was too thick and emollient, I should have tried something oil-free. Also, I have dark skin and it left a white shadowy cast on my skin. I think this moisturizer would be great for someone with fair, dry to normal skin.

I'm on the constant quest for great skincare, especially now that I'm in my 40's (eeeeep). I'm not afraid to spend my hard-earned money on keeping my skin looking good, which can be challenging: my skin is combo-dehydrated, prone to clogging, large pores, hyperpigmentation, the works. Most things I find are either too heavy or too light, or they work well for a while then break me out or make my skin dull. It's always something.

Having just moved to bright and sunny LA, I wanted a daytime moisturizer that had sunscreen but would still be gentle, effective and non-clogging. I love TJ's for grocery shopping, and when I came across this while perusing the aisles, I picked it up without much expectation - I mean, it's $3.99, for goodness sake. Lo and behold, the stuff works! I just ADORE it! It's light but hydrating, does not break me out, does not clog pores at all, and tho I wish the SPF was higher, it still offers solid sunscreen protection. What's not to love?

One caveat for those of you with sensitive skin: the first few times I put this on, I felt a mild tingling/slight warmth (not hot enough to say "heat") on my face, both of which disappeared within a minute or two. After a couple of weeks, I no longer had that initial reaction - I guess whatever ingredient was causing that, my skin just got used to it. My skin isn't that sensitive - it reacts to certain ingredients but is fairly normal overall - but if yours is, just something to watch out for.

I use this every day, after I cleanse my face with La Mer foam cleanser and tone with pure witch hazel. This sits right next to my Rodial Glam Balm and La Mer creme (I alternate the two as my nighttime moisturizer). I will continue to invest in high end night creams and serums, but I've found my HG daytime lotion - at least for the summer (let's see how it fares when the weather gets colder... tho, I mean, it's LA).

Try this - it doesn't make claims for miracles, but it does what you need a daytime moisturizer to do. And you have so little to lose at this price point. Good luck!

Trader joes has just become available to me recently. I went to natural home care aisle and spotted this moisterizer. It is wonderful...its so reasonably priced at 3.99 and the texture of this lotion is great. Its blendable, hydrating and I like the packaging...I will def pick this over my oil of olay with sph.

Acne prone skin woman right here, and I absolutely LOVE this formula. I'm gonna continue using this for a very long time!! I had problems with this at first bc I layered it over my Clinique DD moisturizer and broke out. But I used this on a very hot and sunny day walking around a theme park with no hat for about 5 hours... I got zero skin peeling or bad burns with reapplying only once.

Wow! this is a wonderful little gem. I bought this for 3.99 at TJ and it is awesome. I have oily skin as is but I also use epiduo at night so my skin is crazily oily and dry at the same time. I was using cetaphil but it seemed to clog my pores. This is light, sinks into my skin, AND doesn't make my skin look like a greasy pizza. Love it. It has SPF too. A must have.

Wow, I'm a FAN. I bought this a few days ago, after seeing horrifying pictures of people who didn't use sunscreen on their faces. I have very acne-prone skin and have recently switched to a more holistic approach to skin care - using only natural oils, etc. However the problem with that is I get no sun protection. So I decided to continue using the natural oils at night but needed a good oil-free, relatively harmless face lotion with SPF. Enter Trader Joe's. I bought this little nugget for about $4 and have been using it for the past few days and my skin feels great. No, it's not 100% natural, but there are no parabens in it, no oils (my face is extremely oily, BTW). It sinks into the skin like a dream, doesn't make skin greasy and yet provides enough moisture, as well as some SPF. It would have been great if it was more than SPF 15 but I'm not complaining. This is a great purchase and I hope they don't change a thing about it or ever discontinue.

Trader Joe's Enrich moisturizing Face Lotion with spf 15 is so much cheaper than the basic Olay spf 15 sunscreen I used to use, and on me, it actually works better. Like many have said, it is light and it adds no shine (which is a big plus given I have combination skin which leans more towards oily skin in warmer weather). I have used it for a few years and it has not caused any breakouts. However, the best feature of Enrich for me is this: Being a woman of color, it does not leave the typical chalky tint on my skin like so many sunscreen moisturizers often do to brown skin. A keeper for sure, and a terrific value at $3.99 plus tax!
