MAC creme sheen formulas are my favorite the formula is so moisturizing and feels great on the lips!

This colour is very beautiful and natural, to me it's a nice darker natural colour. The name "modesty" suits it perfectly!

I felt that this colour suited me better as a brunette than a blonde. It's a great fall/winter colour.

This is my latest lippie purchase and I'm very pleased. The color is more than a nude pink, it has some beautiful mauve tones to it that goes very nice with my skin tone and really makes my eyes pop. The staying power is about average. I firmly believe that if a lippie truly has good staying power, then it's usually too dry and chaps my lips, so I've resigned myself to living with moisturizing, short-lasting lipstick. The color is perfect, it's an opaque, solid shade that doesn't just gloss your lips like a lot of other lippies do, it does actually add substantial color. Again, I'm very pleased with this and am sure I will continue to purchase it over and over again.

I picked this up with my Back 2 Mac return items. I wish I would have gotten this sooner! My favorite lipstick is the now discontinued Bobbi Brown Blush lip color and this is a great dupe. I think this may have less of a brown tinge but I actually prefer it. I really can't say enough good things about this lipstick. Great, neutral pink color with moisturizing properties. So glad I got this!

It's my HG for subtle, pretty, everyday lips! I'm an NC44 and this shade looks like "my lips, but better". I feel that I look professional at work with this, and that I also look casual and natural enough to run errands or grab lunch. I don't even need a balm or lip conditioner with this since it's a cremesheen! A must have if you're an NC40-44.

I'm always on the look out for a truly natural looking lipstick. Most contain a bit too much brown mixed in with the rose-pink (being the color I look for, the rose-pink.) A bit of brown is always welcome as it tones this rosy-pink down. I think the name of this lipstick says it all: "Modesty." It is the perfect color, the color of lip, but pumped up a bit. The texture is also important and this fits the bill as it's one of MAC's "Creme Sheen" formulas. It lets the texture of the lips come through w/out being too sheer or too shiny. I'm not a fan of matte lipsticks unless I'm worried about longevity of it's wear (because I'll find myself in a position where I won't be able to check my makeup in a mirror and will not have the opportunity to reapply.) I am medium toned and this color provides just enough zip to shape and define my lips w/out bringing too much attention to itself. I like my eyes to be the focal point. A very bright, frosted, dark or shiny lipstick will detract from your eyes and bring your mouth into focal interest (not that there aren't times I like and use this method of application, but not on an everyday basisi.) This is a go to shade/formula for me. When in doubt it always works no matter what clothes or fashion you have on. It's a "work horse" so to speak for me. I'm never w/out it. Most Highly Recommended!!!

My first Mac lipstick ever. A great light pink-brown lipstick. Probably the lightest I should go lipstick wise. Great to go with a smokey eye or a simple everyday eye with a good blush. I love wearing it with Loreal Le Gloss in Nude Touch. Maybelline Totally Toffee is a close dupe. NC 37-40 for reference.

The perfect Nude for me. I really struggle with finding nude lip colours that suit me as I find that they can be more high maintenance than they should be. I love shy girl but I have to be really careful when wearing it as it looks horrid if I have drylips or if I have not exfoliated them, the lipstick just highlights all the imprefections. Then there are some that are so milky on my pigmented lips that it looks like I am wearing concealer on my lips, urgh! Then sometimes you find a nude that kinda suits but you have to blot most of it off to get it to look somewhat natural. Not so with Modesty, its the type of lipstick which you can just put on a go no lipliner needed. For me the colour is so similar to my lipcolour, it is the one lipstick that us girls look for the "my lips but better" HG. If you have a olive skintone and around the NC42ish, with pigmented lips this is the one for you. Don't bother with Shy Girl, Plink, or Creme Cup try this first you won't be disappointed.

SA recommended this as a nude. I have medium to olive skin and at first from Pretty Please all the time, I was hesitant to buy this one but decided it was free with recycles so no loss.

Love it! It's a great nudish creamy lipstick. It looks great with all eye makeup and now I prefer it over my previous fav Pretty Please.

This is one of my all time favorites. I was looking for a nude color with a rosy hint and I found the perfect match. If you like this color I think you'll also love MAC Bare Again Sheen Supreme lipstick. The price is around $25 which is a bit expensive but I wouldn't mind paying it again.
