I love this brush! The bristles are incredibly soft and perfect for applying liquid foundation (I use it to apply MUFE HD lquid foundation). Blends like a dream and gives me even coverage with minimal amount of product. I realize now why I ran through liquid foundation so fast - I was wasting so much of it by using sponges! This allows you to build your coverage while still blending foundation seamlessly.
Keep in mind that it is VERY expensive (close to $40 I believe) but it's definitely a great investment. Mine has not shed, bent, or left a single foundation streak on my face since I got it. I also bought it when I got a gift card, so if you have the money or want to spend a Sephora gift card, I would HIGHLY recommend getting this if you use liquid foundations!
Very good brush, especially once it's broken in. The foundation I wear tends to be heavy so I'm pretty rough on my brushes when I clean them. This brush has held up well under my scrubbing abuse, and I haven't had any problems with any of the bristles coming out.
Only a few dollars more than the Professional brush and it is sooo much better. A lot softer AND does not streak.
I use it to apply my MUFE HD Foundation and Primer and it goes on smoothly. Doesn't give me that cakey look. It's perfect.
I have two of these, so yes I have purchased this again. They are alwasy dirty, so I use them all the time. I have recently gotten into liquid foundation so I use these a lot along with the Sephora stippling brush. It has never shed on me, it is very attractive looking and the brush does what it is supposed to without making my face a streaky mess.
Great brush! This is a synthetic, medium sized, oval shaped foundation brush with tapered ends that allow you to sweep it into any crevices on your face (ie. by your nose).
With my acne prone, oily skin, I hate touching my face when I apply makeup, but I also hate sponges as they tend to be streaky & waste a lot of product. Plus you have to replace them so often.
This is the best tool I have ever used to apply liquid foundation. It is soft & smooth & glides easily over your face. I dampen the brush slightly before use & it hardly absorbs my foundation, so I don't waste much. It gives great coverage with minimal product.
It washes well & dries fast, so you can keep it bacteria free. It has held up great through many washings.
It's a bit pricey, but well worth it, as seems like it will last awhile. I've had mine for about 8 months now. continued >>

I have always used sponges of some sort to apply fdtn, but I got the idea to try this brush out. It's really awesome...it allows for a very even, very NATURAL application every time. I've used it with liquids and creams, and it always performs beautifully. I have fun "painting my face" with it hahah. It feels super comfortable, unlike the BE brushes which are natural hair and leave my face feeling itchy and inflamed every time. I've used this brush every day for quite a while and never found a single stray bristle on my cheeks or anywhere else (also VERY unlike the BE brushes). I don't have any other brushes of this exact type to compare to as I'm somewhat new to the brush world (except for BE because there is no alternative there), but I truly love the way it applies makeup so sheerly, yet also manages to get everything covered. It almost goofproofs your application so you can't over apply. It's fab! Oh, and as mentioned by previous posters, there is no chance of streaking! I've also washed it a few times and it comes right back, good as new.
This is the first foundation brush that hasn't streaked my makeup. It is a bit pricey but it performs nicely. I don't see much of a difference between brush and finger application but I'm not too bothered. I bought this mainly because I find that using a brush for foundation shaves time off my makeup routine.

I finally took the plunge and bought a foundation brush and I'm not disappointed at all. Makes my MUFE foundation go on super smooth and gives an almost opaque, airbrushed (but still natural) look. Makes applying a breeze. Very sturdy and the bristles are just right - not to long, not too short. This is literally identical to the MAC brush but much cheaper. I would without a doubt repurchase.

I use armani fdt, use armani brush really sucks, see a lot of lines there, but this one is 10 times better than the armani fdt brush, leaves a natural looking effect, and makes ppl doubt whether u have wear fdt or not~!
But I admit that the brush is a bit thick, the gd thing about this is the thickness make the brush bouncy and flexible, this add strength when you apply fdt and have a pressing effect which makes your fdt last long~ But the nay side is that it sorta eat up ur fdt, nevertheless, not serious and acceptable!
What is it: Foundation brush made of nylon sinthetic bristles. Sturdy platinum colored handle.
Pros: Great brush, soft, thick, and makes fundation application a breeze. Will not leave streaks. Nice handle.
Cons: Actually I don't know that if being too thick will make it waste more foundation that if it was thinner, but then again I have noticed that apparently all the foundation ends in my face with this brush as in no waste up to the date.
I have no comparison to any brush before except by the bobbi brown foundation brush, which I found really hard on the bristles and streaked like crazy. I returned the Bobbi brown one and got this brush from sephora for the same cost ($30 USD). I will buy it again because I just love the softness of it.
As a side note, I went today to the Lancome counter and felt their foundation brush, it could be twins with this sephora professional brush, but the Lancome one is thinner (same softness), maybe I'll get that one next time or/if I lost this one.
