This product has a wonderful creme formulation and superb color payoff/pigmentation. One downside (I like to think of it as an upside), is that if you are going for a true, bold red.. This specific product is not right for you. In the packaging it appears a standard, bright cherry red. But, when swatched and applied on the lips, it appears to have a blue/fuschia undertone throughout. Not at all unfavorable. Just misleading as to the true tone of the product. Overall, beautiful coloring and consistancy. Highly recommended.

Certainly Red is certainly not red, at least on me - it's pinkish in an unflattering, costumey way. The texture is nice, and perhaps the color would suit other skin tones better (I'm NW15). Not for me, though.

Really like this. Agreed with reviewer saying this looks like Chantecaille's Poppy. It does. Intense red, sort of cherry red on me. But nice. Stays on if you don't eat or drink but which lipstick doesn't.

It's more like 'Certainly Magenta'. This is definitely a blue red. I bought this thinking it would be a deep, bold, classic red color.. though it isn't. It's a hideous color(in my opinion, I'm sure some people out there love it). It's far too bright and there are nasty neon-pink tones that turn it into a weird magenta. It also feathered out on my lips(and I don't even have wrinkles) which pretty much no other lipstick has done. I'm definitely returning this and NEVER repurchasing.

Great, deep, strong RED. If stand out lips are what you're going for then you won't be disappointed with this color. Feels pretty good when worn, too.

I wanted a classic looking red, and this was not it. It pulled waaaaay too pink on me. Looks nice in the tube, but not on the lips.

I got this as a gift. The product itself is good; it might not be the most moisturizing lipstick around but the pigmentation is awesome! For a drugstore lipstick, the packaging doesn't look very bad either. I'm NC35-37 with olive undertone and this lipstick looks horrendous on me worn full force. So I just dab it lightly and put clear gloss on top. The finish is much more wearable and pretty!

This is a close, if not exact dupe of Chantecaille's Poppy... at less than a third of the price. It is a BRIGHT highly pigmented cool red. I am a red lipstick collector, the brighter the better, so I love it, but, if you prefer darker or more muted, this is not the lipstick for you.
Edit: I uploaded a picture taken in natural light, but indoors
it's the perfect hollywood movie star red! Love it! Shines, creamy, onctuous, beautiful!perfect match with raven red nail polish.glamourous!
When I put this color on my lips, my son actually burst out laughing. He said, "well, at least you can use it for Halloween!" Terribly bright fuschia red on me. Maybe I'm just not meant to wear bright colors. I wanted a true red, and all I keep getting is pink. As far as the way it feels, however, Revlon never fails. Creamy, soft, and non-drying...wish Mary Kay's lipsticks were a tenth of the feel of these. Oh well, on with my search!
