I love this product for its colors but I have skin that become oily by 9AM and this makeup just makes me feel EVEN MORE OILY. I don't like how I look in the sun I look super duper shiny and I hate it. The texture of my face is just gross

I feel the easiest way for me to share my opinions and thoughts on
this foundation is to write out a list of pros and cons. I am a makeup junkie and I absolutley love trying and buying new products, especially foundation- liquid, creme, mouse, powder, I love it all!

Okay so let's start with the Pros (the good) of True Match:

-It's a medium to full coverage foundation with build-able coverage
(meaning, you can keep adding more to get the perfect coverage,
WITHOUT LOOKING CAKEY AND GROSS!);
-This product is not kidding when it says SUPER-BENDABLE because it really does blend so seamlessly into the skin. I use a brush to apply, and then a blending brush and blending pad to get rid of any lines you may have;
-It's oil- free and has SPF 17, I never break out from this foundation, I love that it's oil free because with my combination skin, I would rather moisturize with my own products before applying this foundation over the product containing any kind of oil. The sunscreen is just an added bonus, because it eliminates one extra step in the summertime when I need it most;
-They have an enormous range of colors- I cant even tell you how many. At least 20. It's pretty simple to find a shade that best suits you. If you are unable (which is highly unlikley), the colors are able to be blended together;
-They also have three separate collections of colors for cool undertones, neutral undertones, and warm undertones- which makes all the difference when trying to find that right shade;
-This foundation suits ALL SKIN TYPES! (Oily, Combo, & Dry);
-This tiny bad boy lasts quiet a long time, I can't tell how much I have left in my bottle, but I've already had mine for easily over 6 months;

Okie dokie now moving on to the Cons (the bad) of True Match:

-The packaging isn't the best, because it's a glass bottle and it can break easily. This has never happened to me, however I have seen this happen in makeup aisles in the store several times;
-Also the packaging is very inconvenient because you have to pour out the foundation onto a sponge or a brush- so sometimes it can be pretty messy because you have no control over how much product comes out;
-There is a lot of product that ends up getting wasted because there is no pump on this bottle;
-And the last con I can think of is that it doesn't work perfect with my skin during those few times a year when my skin gets REALLY dry and flakey. I moisturize, prime, and apply this to my face and it almost looks like I have scales, with all the dry patches and the makeup making it ten times worse.

As you can see I have a lot more GOOD to say than BAD, therefore I am rating this foundation 4/5 lippies!

Last, I will recommend this foundation to EVERY woman- fair, olive, dark, dry, combination, oily- it works well for all skin colors and types. Also, I will absolutely repurchase these foundations again. I use them for my Makeup Kit thus why I have several of the colors. They mix very well too for those who can't seem to find the perfect shade. continued >>

I love this foundation. There is no odor, and the coverage is very buildable. It lasts all day and doesn't sweat off. There is also a HUGE range of colors which is great. It's only about $9 and it has lasted me over a year.
I don't recommend it for people with very oily skin, as it can get a little shiny.
The only con of this is the packaging. There is no pump, making application less convenient.

This product has the most foul smell that I have ever encountered in a foundation, the finish on the skin is glowing but the smell is horrendous! The pump also gets clogged quite quickly (In the uk it has a pump).

firstly lets talk about the foundation. It is poorly package. A lot can come out at once. Although if you use to much it seems cakey. This foundation how ever is amazing. Great colour! I would buy this again! Now for the concealer, I've been using the stick and I've purchased the wrong colour, however last time I didn't purchase the wrong colour and it was AMAZING!!! I just bought the liquid concealer and lets see how it works!

I still remember buying this product. I had high hopes for it. I had researched it on youtube and figured that I'd read up on it. I was mistaken, though. I have now come to find out that this product is fantastic for people without oily skin. I'm one of the very unfortunate women that has uncontrollably oily skin. This foundation somehow made my face look patchy and oily at the same time. It wore off in a matter of hours, every single time I applied it. I do admit that it is very easy to blend. I often find myself thinking, "It's only $8. Should I try it again?" Then I remember why I cannot stand the product.

Pros:
Blendable
Small packaging
Cons:
Short wear life
Causes dry patches
Doesn't work with oily skin
There is no pump

It has a nice dewy glow , it makes my skin look great . But without any primer , the makeup looks honestly horrific .
The price here in Canada was pretty messed because it was 16$ and other places it should be around 8$
Gerd .. The packaging is adorable , only thing is .. Why no pump ? I don't mind it just using a pump would be easier .
Overall . Good product will be buying it again , it's my holy grail . But Be aware about the compact makeup . That is just BULL .

Hello.
This is my first review since joining this website, so I do hope my review is well described and becomes helpful to others.

I'm a rookie at cover ups considering I had only stumbled across a few. This was the first liqiud foundation that I have ever used because I was looking for something to cover my acne scars and facial blemishes. As well as my discoloration. My mother letted me try her's, but because she's a tanner colored skin than I am, it didn't match well enough.

However, I bought a lighter color(thank goodness for the large line of colors so I could pick a perfect shade for myself). My skin is dry, oily and prone to breaking out, so I'm always trying to find a foundation that works perfectly for those concerns I have. This makeup turned out to be rather well.

I never had the unwanted blemishes from this because of this, and it was a marvelous cover up. But I fear that it didn't stay for very long. I estimate about five to six hours in held, which I need longer.

But after my first try with it, I blended it with my powder makeup(Rimmel Stay Matte, Shine Control) and it lasted longer than I thought it would! No oil, no shine and it still stayed strong when I did my karate class. Which can make you sweat buckets!

I would recommend this, and re-buy, as long as I combined my powder with it.
