I love how this product worked in my hair. Lots of shine without weight. My hair dries out quickly and is prone to brittle ends. So far it has not made this worse, but I'll update if it does.
A few drops really go a long way in my hair (full, fine texture, poker straight). So far this is my favorite serum, and I've tried several. There may be better out there, but this one is definitely great.
This is the definitive serum. I've tried them all. This is the only one that delivers. I use as much as I want, and my hair is never, ever greasy. I thought I'd go through the bottle quickly using so much, but it is lasting so long! Truly the serum I've been wanting. I bought it on amazon.
I love this shine serum. I've been trying not to use hairspray so much on my roots to tame them [they're broken due to a bad layering cut O_o] and I read in some magazine that shine serum is great for that. A tiny bit goes a long way! I rub it through my damp hair before I blow dry and it makes my hair very shiny and smoother [I have terribly frizzy, thick hair, so nothing is going to make it completely smooth], and then a tiny drop over my roots to tame them, and my hair is shiny and soft all day! I really like this product and will definitely continue to buy it. I found it at Ulta.
This used to be called Spa Recovery Serum and I've used it on and off for years. It's really a fantastic product. I absolutely despise silicones on my hair -- I don't like the Barbie Hair feel, but this product uses silicone in conjunction with oils and I find that it doesn't continue to dry my hair out like other products that are straight silicone. Most of the time, I mix it with and equal amount of olive oil (extra light) and then apply to the ends of my hair (to cut down on the amount of silicone I'm using). But using it by itself, doesn't dry my hair out either. My ends look smooth and soft -- but more importantly to me, the ends FEEL smooth and soft as well. Highly recommend this product.
Contains alcohol and dried out my hair over time.
If there is anything better than this please let me know...This is a like treatment and shine serum in one. It seems to actually penetrate my hair feels soft straighter and shiny instead of puffy dried blonde hay. AAAAAAAAA+++
This is my favorite serum for my hair. I've been using it for 15 years and I am so glad that it has never been discontinued. I've tried so many others only to be disappointed. My hair looks and feels so shiny with this product. I can't live without it!!!!
This is my must-have.
I realized the other day that I have almost no, if any, split ends. My hair is the lightest it has ever been, and I haven't had it cut in nearly 3 months. Before, I would need cuts every 5-6 weeks or suffer split ends.
Granted I am using good products overall, but I generally always have. What has become consistent is me using this product every day. I blowdry - either just to dry, or to straigten - daily, pretty well. My hair isn't suffering the gradual build-up of silicone that I've experienced before - product works great at first, then does nothing.
It is strong though. My trick, I use a dime-size amount on chin/shoulder length hair, however, I put it in the back and ends first, then use what's left on my hands at the front/ roots area LAST. It is strong, you don't want to get too much in your roots/ front area, bc it could be greasy if you use too much. Also, it makes your hair very smooth, so if you want some more "hold" in your hair, I use a bit of straightening balm or volumizing spray (Bain de Terre of Phytotheratie, respectively) to give some oomph.
But the texture you are left with is quite exceptional - definitely silky smooth but not limp and lifeless, either. Fantastic product and amazing price for the quality.
I believe this is the same as the "spa therapy" listed. It's okay, but you have to use more than you might think initially (it's been working better for me since I realized that). The strong alcohol smell also makes you wonder how much this is really repairing your hair and not just drying it out further. I'm still convinced there's something better out there. Biosilk perhaps?
I stopped using this a long time ago (not sure why). I love this product. It's not thick and gloppy like msot silicone products. I like the watery consistency and will be using again. My favorite, however, is Ouidad's Shine Glaze. Now THAT is a miracle product.
