Mine wasnt that pigmented, but it was a gorgeous color. I don't think it's the best gold out there.

A beautiful pure gold shadow! This is one of my favorites and perfect for a warm shadow look (especially with a bit of Expensive Pink in the crease). I really think It's one of those colors that works on all skintones. Will buy again and again!

One of my favorite eyeshadows ever!! It's the perfect gold and my first liked Mac shadow, and planning to rebuy for years to come!

Very pigmented and very gold. I've had mine for about 2-3 years. It has a beautiful frosty finish. It's the type of shadow that can be worn lid to brow as a wash and is also pretty as a highlighter along the cheekbones. It's a yellow gold that goes seriously good with black. I think it looks so sexy paired with black winged liner.

I absolutely love this gorgeous yellow gold! The pigmentation and colour payoff is amazing and the texture is so smooth. For the longest time I was using Woodwinked for a gold colour, but really wanted to purchase a true gold with no orange undertones and this shade was recommended to me at the MAC store. Very happy I purchased it and a great addition to my collection.

Goldmine is a gorgeous frosty yellow-gold with amazing pigmentation and buttery-smooth texture. Easy to work with, applies easily and blends beautifully.

Beautiful color. It's a true golden. Maybe many of you have noticed that MAC's golden tones tend to have hints of green (gold and old gold pigment, for example). Well, this eyeshadow is a yellowish shade of gold.
Easy to apply, it looks perfect dry or wet. Very good pigmentation and a soft texture that makes it easy to blend. It's beatiful combined with purples, browns or even black. I would repurchase, of course.

LOVE this eyeshadow. Have had it for about 2 years now & am down to next to nothing! Time to go buy a replacement Goldmine :) On to the review though, I have NC20 skin & currently use this as part of my everyday makeup routine in the warmer months! I apply Clinique eyeshadow in a light pink shade, not sure of the name, to my inner corner, all over the lid as well as brow bone.. Then apply Goldmine from the beginning of my iris onwards & top it off with MAC's Satin Taupe in the crease :) It is the perfect combination for Spring/Summer & even in the Fall/Winter I wear this with just plain brown eyeliner!
Overall I definitely would recommend this, gorgeous satiny texture, glides on effortlessly. Lately I've even taken to using my fingers to apply this & you just get the most smooth finish! If you haven't swatched this already, at least do that :) x continued >>

This is a must have. It does look intimidating in the pan and I didn't think it would work with my NW20 skin and blonde hair. I bought it by mistake when I was trying to find a match for a discontinued MAC shade and thought it was too bright when I got it home but once I tried it I never looked back!

It's not a shadow I reach for every day and I tend to save it for Spring/Summer but it is amazing. My favourite way to wear it is to apply it damp as a liner in a thick line and pair it with bright pink eyes and lips (Stila Convertible Colour in Petunia is perfect). This way you get a great pop of colour but it is still wearable.

It looks a bit intimidating in the pan, but I love using Goldmine as a super quick wash (with the 217) over the lid to brighten my eyes and look awake. It looks stunning packed on with Amber Lights or Bronze eye shadows.
It's texture is really smooth and even, with a frost finish.
I will definitely repurchase!
