Am I the only one who's not that impressed with this? The issue I have with this is that the colour is not very brightening. I find it quite yellowy and a bit too dark, and makes me look like I have a case of jaundice instead of making me look more awake.
It stays on the waterline fine-ish (I'd need to reapply after 3 or so hours) and it's creamy so easy to apply, but the colour is just not what I'd call a brightening nude.
This is absolutely amazing! Firstly, I was shocked to discover how much a nude colour on the waterline opens up the eye. To find this product in the drugstore at such a bargain is so nice. It applies very evenly and smoothly. It lasts a good 7 or so hours on me, sometimes longer. I love this product! It's a must-buy.
I have to say I'm a little disappointed! After raving reviews on YouTube I just had to have this! I searched and searched! Rite aid, target, cvs, Walgreen' s all were sold out. I finally found them at Target. I was so excited! Once I used it I was disappointed. It went on beautifully. The trouble is it doesn't last long on the waterline. I'm annoyed because the black one stays like nobody's business! I heard the revlon photoready eye brightener stays longer so I'll be trying that next.
Finally a nude drugstore pencil. This is creamy and kind of gets on my lower lashes when I apply it to my waterline. It doesn't last all day, but it looks nice when you first apply it. It's the perfect colour but I just wish it was longer lasting. You could probably use this as a concealer pencil if it matches your skin.
I do not like this at all. I brought this because it was raved here and on youtube. I picked this up at CVS for about $4 and what I did not like about it was that when I apply this on, it gets all over my lower lashes and I tried different ways to apply and this still happens due to its creamy texture. It does not brighten my eyes and when I sharpen it, it gets all over the sharpener.
Thank goodness I found a replacement. My HG nude waterline pencil is the revlon photoready kajal in carbon cleopatra. It brightens my eyes without looking obvious. And this lasts longer on my waterline. Although this is not creamy like the rimmel, it works better and it still glides onto my waterline without a mess.
I love this for the waterline. It brightens up your eyes. Will buy again!
Thought I would love this - burned the crap out of my eyes, which never happens to me - so cheap, though, maybe it is worth it to you to give it a try!
Bought randomly and love! Creamy and lasts not too chalky.
So far this is the only pencil that lasts on my waterline! Very smooth, creamy. No tugging. Excellent buy for the price. Will repurchase. Nude is excellent for a natural brightening of the eyes.
I don't use this as an eyeliner. I found when I use this under my eyes, this irritates them. So on a whim, I tested this on a dark spot on my arm. Well, it works for that and a couple of other dark spots that were bothering me so much that I couldn't wear tank tops. I have a large dark blackish flat spot on my shoulder and I put this eyeliner on it once and another swipe after the first one dries and it really helps conceals it. And it matches my skintone!
