Urban Decay makes amazing eyeshadows and the Vice palette did not disappoint. The only shades that I absolutely do not use due to the crazy glitter fall out/texture are Jagged, Provocateur, and sometimes Freebird. I feel that Freebird ends up being just glitter when applied although it looks like a nice soft pink in the packaging. The pigmentation is insane!!! The colors are bright, amazing and last all day. I love Unhinged, Penny Lane and Chaos.

Texture is smooth and buttery, and color payoff is amazing for most of these shades. Great palette for those who do not have a whole lot of Urban Decay palettes already.

I am slightly disappointed in the quality of these shadows. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, or maybe you have and just not noticed: when the brighter colors are used, they go on very brightly and pigmented. However, after a short period of time (less than 30 mins) they fade quite a bit and get muddy. I've tried a few different primers and techniques for these and it still happens. This is not user error. Some of them are chunky and the brush is awful. It's the same type of brush that came in my Naked2 (and that one is wonderful) but the bristles on this one are scratchy. The packaging is nice and sleek so that's a plus, and the variety is great. This is the first UD palette I've been disappointed with and I'm thinking maybe I got a dud?

Overall this palette is pretty nice, there's more neutral colors than bright (I like bright better) but they blend pretty well except for the blue color, I love the brush because it's 2 sided n works very well. The only problem I have is that the colors flake when u put them on n it's really hard to get it off when it flakes under ur eyes by accident but with some good eye primer it dosent flake as much.

LOVE this palette! Colors go on like butter! Except for one particular color jaged. This palette is defintley worth the 59$. The packaging is really cute and sturdy too! :)

I love this palette. This palette contains a good amount of colors and neutrals. It has a really good blending color and highlight. I do wish there were more mattes though. The texture is almost creamy and smooth like butter. They're really pigmented but not too pigmented to the point where it's difficult to blend. This is one of my favorites for UD next to the Naked2.

First off the packaging is really cool you push the button to open it and it pretty much opens by itself. The packaging is very clean and smooth if you get it dirty its easy to clean off unlike Naked 1. This palette contains 20 limited edition shades and they're all amazing, I was very scared to try colors like chaos and noise which are super bright but you can tone them down by using them as liners Instead of all over lid shades. Every shades is very pigmented as ud shadows usually are, their last power is also pretty long i can usually wear them a full work day and have no problems with them. Also this palette has a great assortment of rights darks mattes shimmers and neutrals.

I have never owned an urban decay product but was so influenced by the raving reviews online I was tempted to ship this to singappore becos UD just costs so expensive here. I usually use estee lauder and pop eye shadows as well as Canmake, lavshuca and other Japanese brands. Most Asian brands are more glittery than pigmented so I was interested in trying stuff like MAC and UD out.

I went down to Sephora (UD is only sold there) and was horrified by the quality of the vice palette as well as the rest of their more edgy palettes. I couldn't get any of the bright blue in the vice palette onto my skin and the more I tried to layer more on, more fell right off my skin in flakes and crumbs, I thought it was just be that colour but after scratching around on momst of the more intense colones, all I got was very uneven colour and fallout. I was not impressed. Thinking that maaaybeeee this palette simply dried out since it's launch. Perhaps it's just the tester. But seems all the testers for UD had dried out that day. I did, however, grab the naked2 palette cos I just couldn't beiieve UD could be that bad. I was in denial.

But the naked palettes were different. They were smooth, buttery, had a nice even application and were very pigmented. I just dont understand why there is so much difference in quality. And the naked palettes were selling for $70 whereas the vice palette was selling for $88.

I'm glad I did not ship this in!

I am in the middle of a 2 and a 3, but I'm giving this a 3, because I do really love most of what Urban Decay puts out.

I purchased this palette a few weeks ago along with the Naked 2 palette. A few of my friends have had the palette for awhile, and raved about how much they liked it.

I really really want to like this palette, but most of the colours just do not work for me. Out of 20 colours, there are only about 5 or 6 that I go to and can use. The rest have no pigmentation, have terrible fall out, or are just incredibly glittery and messy.

I can usually work with the glittery/messy stuff, but this is just over the top.

The bright blue shade in the palette even with potion primer has no pigmentation or payoff whatsoever.

Packaging: I love the packaging. It is sleek and durable. The first night I purchased it, i accidentally knocked it off my sink. Everything was intact and fine!

Price: for $59, its almost $10 more than the Naked palettes, but you get 8 more colours. I think if I could make more of the colours in the palettes work for me, I wouldnt have a problem with the price, but for 5-6 colours, its like $10 bucks a colour for me.

Pigmentation: A lot of the colours in my opinion, do not have the colour payoff that i have found in most of the other UD palettes, which is a shame. the colours look beautiful when you look at them, but you have to pack and pack and pack the colour on to get a good look. I may attempt to do some of the colours wet and see if I cant get a better payoff.

Fallout: Fall out for many of the colours in insane. I like to keep my palettes very clean, and cleaning this mofo after using it is so painful. Not to mention trying to clean off my cheeks after applying. I hold a cloth under my eye in order to pick up the excess.

Overall: I dont think I am going to give up hope on this palette just yet, which is why i gave it a 3 instead of a 2. The few colours I love (occupy, junkie, rapture, vice, nevermind, and echo beach are awesome) are definitely amazing. I just wish the shadows were more "buttery" and less chalky. I am hoping by playing with the palette a little more, I can make it work better for me :)

I agree with all the other reviewers, these colors are absolutely amazing! I was also afraid of such intense colors, as I usually wears neutrals & am semi boring, makeup wise..I didn't think id have the skills to know how to use these colors.. But whoa was I wrong!
They blend so easily, are so richly pigmented, I didn't need to wet brushes or whatever to have this insanely gorgeous color on my lids..with this palette, I just dabbed the colors on and wow gorgeous!
I agree these colors are actually super wearable, not what I thought at all.. These Colors can go for
Day to nite easily.. Im in lOve!! continued >>
