I really enjoy this if used right this really makes the hair have a great wave to it. I spray it into damp hair then use a diffuser to dry my hair and I style as I dry it does not leave the hair crunchy or weird feeling I use this on day two hair bye it's self then I use it with dry shampoo day three and sometimes I will use it on day four hair but that's only if I leave it down. I am on my second bottle of it and I am still loving it I am still debating if I want to try the bumble and bumble one or just stick with this one.
This is certainly not for my hair.
I have fine, wavy hair which is quite long so I don't wash it every day. I thought this might be a good idea to refresh the wave in my hair on non-shampoo days. It had the opposite effect. It actually made my hair straight and super dry. God bless whoever's hair this works for, but it sure wasn't mine.
Maybe this is a case of you get what you pay for... The price was certainly cheap enough at Walmart for a big spray bottle that probably gives you twice as much product as Bumble & Bumble. But that's where the positives end - it did nothing for my hair which already has some natural wave to it. It just felt like I sprayed some water on my locks and that was about it... not anywhere near what my hair looks like after a day on the beach - no volume, no texture - no results...period. It was worth a shot, but would never buy another bottle of this stuff. continued >>

I LOVE this stuff!! I have stick straight hair, and I can spray this in my dry (or even towel dried) hair and get pretty waves. waves!! from straight hair!!! you can't imagine the excitement... my hair does not hold a curl very well otherwise, so getting these sexy waves is wonderful!
I love this product! I have naturally wavy hair, but sometimes it falls flat in the back. This spray helps add some volume to it, but not a whole lot. Mostly, it helps my waves become more shapely. Even though this product is intended to be used by itself, I use hair gel too. I spray it into my wet hair (do NOT brush it! This will break up the waves!) and scrunch my hair to help distribute it. After letting it set for a few minutes, I put a little bit of gel in my hair. (I just use La Bella Lots of Curls, it's like $3). I have found using these two products together gives me perfect, beachy, voluminous hair!
It does make your hair feel a little dry, but it's salt water, that's unavoidable. It smells really nice, and the packaging is cute and makes it easy to use. As long as you used a conditioner, there shouldn't be any problems!
I LOVE this product!! I have tried to many sea salt sprays for my stick-straight hair, and this one was BY FAR the best. It adds lots if texture and some wave and just a few squirts. I have to say it works best on slightly damp hair though.
I love the packaging of this spray, and the name, it's very original. But, this didn't work for me, it left my hair feeling dry and it didn't define my curls. On the back of the product it says that it gives a lite matte finish, which might explain why my hair felt, as I already said, dry and shineless. So I guess it delivers on that aspect. On the other hand, it also said it adds sexy, tousled waves, which didn't happen. The good thing is that its not an expensive product, so at least I didn't pay a lot for this. Looking at the positive aspects of this product, I would say it smells nice, like coconut, and it applies easily. Personally though, I wouldn't recommend this product.
I've experienced the amazing effects of natural salt water after a day at the beach & wanted to try a salt spray but the products I've found in the past (like Bumble & Bumble) were way too expensive. I came across this at CVS for $5.99 & was super excited to try it & so far I am very satisfied with it!
It smells nice & the spray nozzle provides a fine mist that makes it easy to use. I use it on both wet & dry hair but prefer it on dry hair to add some volume & life to my hair. No build up or sticky residue, just great volume & textured curls that separate & spiral. Very beachy looking hair & best of all super affordable!!

I bought this on a whim. I don't know why, but I've been on a hair product binge... which is especially odd since I rarely use more than shampoo and conditioner. I picked this up along with 2 other NYM products and tested this one immediately on my long, thick, naturally wavy but not curly hair. I find it works best for me when applied to very wet hair and allowed to air dry. When I applied it to slightly damp or dry hair or followed with a blowdryer, I got out of control volume and frizz. The scent is amazing and I don't find it to be particularly drying. I use it less than once a week and like the trigger/spray design. I would repurchase.
