The BEST moisturizer I EVER used!! I have very sensitive skin and most moisturizers (especially that contain SPF) irritate my skin. I also have oily/acne prone skin. This moisturizer definitely surprised me immediately and I will purchase more of this product before they fly off the shelves. It goes on very lightly and absorbs into the skin immediately. My skin feels light, moisturized and refreshed after I apply in the AM and PM. It does not feel greasy at ALL and stays on throughout the day. Unlike most moisturizers it does not feel greasy after a few hours or at the end of the day. I joined this website specifically to recommend this product to anyone that has not found their go-to moisturizer with SPF yet! I hope this product works well for others as it has for me!!

This barely absorbed into my skin, I had high hopes for a Cetpahil moisturizer for my normal but acne prone skin, I tried using this after my Acne.org's Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%) gel/cream and it'd just make my face greasy and help me break out, what a waste of money I don't have.

I'm quite surprised at the low rating of this. I have normal skin but as I started a new method of birth control with increased hormones, I now regularly break out around my chin and jaw. It is a struggle to keep that area under control while balancing the growing dry patches on my cheeks & forehead. :( my Clean & Clear dual action was no longer cutting it in the moisturizing department, and I always love seeing a high SPF in a moisturizer as I am burn-prone and super pale! So I decided to try this out. Well, it isn't anything fancy, but it does the job great - my skin has less dryness, I am not seeing any more breakouts due to the product, it is not greasy and the mild sunscreen smell doesn't irk me personally. I'm satisfied. If you have sensitive skin and want a no-frills daily moisturizer with SPF I'd give this one a go. continued >>

I've been using this moisturizer for about 6months now. Like many users have said this products does not stop you from getting oily. I love that it goes on smooth and I guess it has helped with my acne. I love the fact that it has SPF30. I just wished it did not make me oily, I mostly get really oily around my T zone especially my nose. The only reason I keep buying this product it's because other products get me more oily. I have tried Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF-30 and compare to that one Cetaphil Moisturizer works best of my skin.

I've been using this product for a little over a month now, which is a long time for me. I like switching products a lot, mostly buying products to specifically fight acne. My acne died down, so I cut down on products. I went from about 15 products to 4. This product I've still been using because I am seeing a slight improvement in my skin. Nothing life-changing.
I wash my face at 6:00am, then go to school. By 9:00am, I am an oily mess. And I accepted that, around 9:05 (when my class lets out) I go to the bathroom and blot my face with oil absorbing sheets.
Using both the oil control foam wash (which I love) AND the moisturizer, my oil production has gone from SUPER oily, to really oily. There really isn't any drastic change. If you'd care to know, I went from using 2 oil absorbing sheets on my face, down to one. But that oil sheet is like dripping oil when I'm done with it.
BUT;

Pros;
-Very lightweight, goes on smooth
-Is a good moisturizer for my dry skin
-SPF 30
-NO breakouts!!

Cons;
-Burns my face sometimes, don't you dare get it in your eyes.
-Makes my skin LOOK irritated (bright red) for about 30 minutes
-Doesn't control shine or mattify face to the extent that it says it will
-The price (I picked mine up for $15)

I wish I would have read the reviews here before I bought this stuff! It was $15.00 down the drain. There is nothing "oil-control" about this. It works just like a regular oil based moisturizer. Thankfully, it does have the added benefit of a sunscreen, and it didnt cause me to break-out. I wont buy again though.

-Update-
After using this a little longer I have grown to like it. It does give me a matte finish before applying makeup, but I still don't think it helps at controlling oil. I like that its SPF, but I don't think it is worth the high price. Also, it hasnt caused me to breakout, which is a plus. The price is the major downside to this.

Yikes! I have very oily skin, and I had very high hopes for this moisturizer because it's Cetaphil. I paid about $14 for it, which is a bit expensive for a drugstore brand. This stuff made my face look greasier than it already is! It goes on pretty smooth and it feels nice, but as soon as I apply it, my face looks oily. The only good thing I can say about the product is that it didn't break me out. Now it's just sitting there on my bathroom counter.

This did not control shine on me whatsoever. It wasn't absorbed and it did not provide me with a non-greasy, matte finish. I used a little, I used a lot, either way, my skin was so shiny. I will not be buying this product again.

This is just the worst.
Never have I been compelled to write a review for something because i disliked it so much!
Greasy, filmy, makes me break out. It lingers on skin like grease and does NOT absorb!

I bought this for a matte day time moisturizer/sunscreen. It is not mattifying at all, it is a standard sunscreen. And no matter how careful I was, it would manage to get in my eye and burn a lot which doesn't happen at all with my other sunscreens. I finished the bottle but am not buying again.
