I loved this product. I have very oily eyelids, so eyeshadow and eye liner just melt off! I have been looking for an eye primer that isn't too expensive, and this works! I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews on it!

This is another one of those products I picked up on a whim, got home & tried it, loved it, then the love didn't last..

I had a $5 off Revlon face product coupon & already have back ups of my beloved ColorStay foundations so decided to give this a go since it was only $8-9 USD at my local WalMart (so I only paid $3-4 for it -steal!) I also wanted to try this b/c it is labeled as an "eye primer" & I'm always looking for something from the drugstore that performs as well as UDPP(my HG eye primer)

As an undereye concealer this is ok. I've definitely tried worse, and a lot of those "worse" ones were higher end. It's not as full coverage as the Maybelline Dream Lumi pen or the original Revlon PhotoReady Concealer -(the one in the black twist up tube, like lipstick -two of my favorite drugstore undereye concealers), but I feel that this does have better coverage than some of my drugstore undereye concealer fails like NYX Yellow Concealer In A Jar or Rimmel Match Perfection.
This does NOT give me the reverse panda eye look (you know what I mean right?! ;D) -which is a problem that I often have with having very dark undereye circles while having very pale skin. It comes out having cooler undertones which concerned me at first b/c I have warmer undertones, but this blends like a dream. The first time I tried it, I loved it. The second time I tried it, I didn't have any moisturizer under my eyes & it caked/creased :( So I now know that I can only use this product if my undereyes are well moisturized. I plan on keeping this in my purse for undereye touch ups as I feel it's best suited for that rather than use alone, especially for someone (like me!) with massively dark undereye circles..

As a primer it does an ok job. I was definitely pleasantly surprised that my shadow went 6+ hours before I noticed just the *slightest* bit of creasing, but it wasn't anything major. Is it as good as UDPP? -No. But it's better than the terrible $1 ELF eye primer that had my shadows creasing in less than an hour! &While it helped my shadows from creasing, it also gave a nice base, helped my shadows "pop" & didn't require me to hurry & blend blend blend the way that UDPP does.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, but wouldn't repurchase. I don't like the "clicky pen" that this comes in.. I had to prime it/click it for like 3 mins straight to get some product out, then it kind of squirted out, and ever since I can't ever seem to get out just the right amount - it's either always too much or always too little..*ugh*
But last week my back-up Maybelline lumi pen started leaking *another UGH..* so I clicked all of the product out into a plastic sample cup & have been really happy since doing that, so I *may* do the same thing with this if it keeps giving me a tough time (& I also highly reccomend this method if you have any click pens that leak or dispense too much / too little product! :D)

Overall this is just a basic under eye concealer with slight brightening aspects to it. It's not terrible, but it's not the best bang for your buck. If you have dark undereye circles like mine, look into the original Revlon PhotoReady one, Maybelline Dream Lumi Pen, or Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser and save this one for touch ups :) continued >>

Really happy with this product! Nice to have a brightener/primer in one. It is MUCH cheaper than higher end eye primers (i.e. Urban Decay, Too Faced) but seems to work just as well! I am really pleased with how nice my eyeshadow looks with this primer, with no creasing or fading all day. My shadows blended together well upon application. The undereye effect was very nice too - I am very fair and tend to have heavy dark circles under my eyes, but this product covered them nicely.
I don't love the applicator - it's hard to get the right amount of product to come out (I felt like I twisted the base a million times before anything came out, and then a whole lot came out at once.) I wish it just came in a squeeze tube. Oh well, nobody's perfect right? :)

For me this product ended up working great as a eyelid primer. I don't use it for highlight. I have fairly oily skin and that includes my eyelids. I really like the staying power that this product gives my shadows. It comes out a light pink color but it blends in and kinds of brightends the eyes a bit. There's no shimmer that I can detect. The price on this is a bit steep for drugstore but you can usually find a deal or coupon so you don't have to pay full price. I don't like the brush tip applicator. There's nothing wrong with the way it delievers the product I just don't like the pens you have to twist the product up to the brush. I'd buy again since it was a good bargain.

I am returning this product. It is expensive and absolutely does nothing. My elf $1 primer does a better job at priming and this doesnt brighten at all. Makes my dark circles and such just look worse. wanted to like it but oh well. I really hope Walmart will take it back!

Glad I used this on the weekend and not on a day I was in a rush to get to work, it would have been embarassing.

I'm going to try and bring this back to the store. The strange pinkycolor could not be blendable with ANY skin tone. It caked around the few lines under my eyes. Then the veins in my lids became very visible thanks to this stuff.

HORRIBLE product. I made sure to try it a few times before I posted a review, just to make sure I had a good idea of how well it works.
First time I used it I didn't notice much of a difference with anything, so I gave it another shot. Now my eyelids usually absorb and crease eyeshadow like no one's business. That's a problem I've always had, so I thought this might make my shadows last longer. Well, the more I used it the more I noticed how my shadow creased even more with the product on. Today I put it on again and my eyeshadow was completely faded and creased by the end of my 5hr shift. This is an eyeshadow I've used by itself before and had no problem with, and when I used it with the primer it couldn't even last a few hours.

This does the complete OPPOSITE of what it says to do. It just makes the problem worse. Do not waste your money.

It does help brightening the lid area, but it does very little to eyeshadow stay longer and I crease anyway and I don't have very oily lids. I think is pricey at $10+ and you get too little product. I'm not buying this agan.

I'm deducting a lippie for the price~It was $9.99 at CVS- for the tiny amount (0.08 oz.) you get.
Other than that, It's a very nice concealer for brightening the under eye without being cakey or settling into lines. It's very liquid-y and I find it best to put a bit on my finger and tap it on. My stand-by was the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind , but I've been reaching for this one more, lately. I'd day- wait for it to go on sale- I won't buy another one unless it was on sale!

Great primer, shadow looks much better over this! As a brightener works ok. I find it necessary to still use yellow with it to rid the dark dark of my proof of insomnia. Shouldn't bother people who know how to sleep once or twice a week.
