I really like this eyeliner. It was my first of two. So far, the Urban Decay 24/7 is kicking the drugstore eyeliner's a$$. lol. This colour is perfect for my fair skin and light blue eyes. Black looks too severe for an every day look. However, this dark brown adds softness to the definition of my upper lashes.
The eyeliner is very pigmented and has great colour payoff. It is easy to use and glides effortlessly across your eyes. There is no tugging or pulling involved. Also the line is easy to work with in regards to smudging out or brushing into your lashes.
As for the endless sharpening. If you buy the Urban Decay sharpener for the 24/7 eyeliners, it takes care of that problem. I am not sure why, but it just works like magic on these pencils. It is very soft and tends to break in other sharpeners, hence the endless sharpening. However, in the Urban Decay sharpener (which is inexpensive) this does not happen. The pencil comes out sharp after a minimal amount of sharpening.
Finally, the eyeliner wears very well. Especially if it is combined with UDPP. It lasts all day or all night without smudging or wearing away. Thus, I gave it four lippies. I took away one lippie because of the price. However, after trying to drugstore brand (which does not compare to the 24/7) it may just need another lippie. I will update. AND, I will definitely be repurchasing!

Love this eyeliner! I am pretty fair, and cannot wear black eyeliner as it always, always makes me look gothic. I discovered this liner last week. I used it with a smudge brush which makes a big difference. I never usually wear eyeliner either, so this is definately now in my makeup routine.

i'm stunned by all the negative reviews for this pencil! i thought i wanted the 24/7 in Perversion, a super dark black, but when i tried that one on, it looked way too severe. Demolition is a rich brown-black (like NARS Coconut Grove e/s) that gives me a flattering, dramatic look when i want to play up my eyes. plus, it stays on all day without fading or transferring onto my crease. the only drawback is that since this pencil is so soft, it can be difficult to get a crisp line, hence the 4 lippies rather than 5.

This is defintely my go-to dark brown eyeliner. Since I am very fair, black looks very harsh on me. It glides on well and stays on all day.

I was so happy when UD came out with a non-shimmery brown eyeliner. I liked Bourbon, but the shimmer not so much. I really enjoyed Whiskey when it came with the Naked palette. I was hoping that Demolition would be something similar. Demolition is a deep brown which is okay. It's a lot like MAC Coffee. The staying power is okay when set with powder. I use MAC Handwritten. It's an acceptable brown pencil but I was expecting a little more.

I don't understand why this product isn't getting more love. I normally wear black liquid eyeliner but I'm loving using Demolition with my more natural makeup looks. I really like the dark matte brown and best of all, it stays in place all day!

Ugh, I really don't like this eyeliner... I just don't feel like I'm getting any value out of it. I like this colour because it is really dark, but I feel like I have to sharpen it WAY too often and also I waste so much when I sharpen it because its really soft. I've heard some people like to put it in the fridge for 5 minutes before they sharpen so maybe I will try it out.

It also does not last very long in my opinion, even though I use the Primer Potion under it. Also, don't even bother using it to line your water line :(

I'm dissapointed because I paid $18 for something I could have easily found at the drugstore.

I was so excited to see a non-shimmery brown finally available. I typically use Bourbon; love the brown tone, but am not a fan of the sparkle, so a new brown that was more matte made me buy it straight away. The formula was perfectly wonderful (as usual with the 24/7 eyeliners), but the brown was WAY too dark for my coloring (like with the prior reviewer). Pity. I really want more matte color choices in the 24/7 eyeliners (other than just the black shades and Rockstar). Or, if Whiskey could become part of the permanent lineup, that would at least be a start imo.

I'm NC35ish, dark hair, usually wear Black liners. Demolition is Dark Brown, matte, glides on very creamily (is this a word?) and is VERY soft which is great because there's no tug or resistance when I use it to line directly against my lash line, but is heartbreaking because it runs out so quickly & sharpening is a disaster. But anyway, this is perfect for days that I don't need an intense black liner, but still want to look pwetty. I like.

This is a very dark, neutral brown that would be great on someone with darker coloring than me (I'm blond with blue eyes and fair skin). On me, this was too harsh, even on my upper lid. I love the formula of this, though - soft and creamy, but lasts forever. Also, having to sharpen these is a pain - yes, I'm lazy. Maybelline's new Master Drama automatic eye pencils have an identical formula to urban decay's but you don't have to sharpen. And, they have a softer, lighter brown that I love. Check these out if Demolition is too dark for your skin.
