Ladies on a tight budget, this is definitely a great buy if you figure out the best way to use it. My hair stylist is always on my butt about using heat protectant. She thinks heat protection is the most important styling product you should have, blah blah blah. Luckily, she doesn't push her salon products and lets me make up my own mind about the hair products I buy, which means I almost always buy the cheapest thing available. So I'm in my second month of using this Aussie product and I think it is great. First off, I've noticed that some of the reviews on here say that this spray makes your hair harder to brush and harder to dry. I've always tried to get a much water out of my hair by towel drying and brushing right after I get out of the shower. Start by squeezing the water out with a towel (don't tussle) then start brushing and detangling. Always make sure your hair is not dripping wet and completely detangled before using this product. My favorite way to use this is by spraying it directly onto a comb or brush and then running it through my hair. This way you can get a lot of product in your hair without getting it soaking wet again. I have not had any difference in my blow dry or flat ironing time when using this product, and I do think it adds more shine to my hair. The smell of this product is very nice, and for less than $3.00 it is a great buy. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 lippies is because of the packaging. Getting the lock off the pump was kinda hard, and the spraying could be better, but if you spray it directly onto a comb or brush, it isn't a problem. I will repurchase.

The smell of the product was very good. I didn't really see a difference in my hair after using it and then flat ironing it. My hair seemed a little harder but again it smelled very good. and didnt make hair shiny

I was in need of a heat protectant because I just rain out of my heat protection from Redken so i went to CVS and bought this for about, $3.00. The next day, I took a shower, and put this in my hair before blow drying and when i was trying to spray it in my hair, it like sprayed everywhere. It got all over the mirror i was sitting infront of, it got on my phone, my hair dryer, everywhere. It didnt come out as a mist either it was just a straight line and I didnt feel like it was protecting my hair from the heat. It took me forever to figure out what to do with it to work with it. Also, it made my hair wetter then it already was when i got out of the shower and my hair just felt really heavy, it didnt leave my hair with a shine, it was just an awful product for my hair. Bottom line, I would never buy this again I mean, I still have my first bottle from when I bought it the first time.

I needed a heat protectant, and a cheap one since I'm on a tight budget. I was using the John Frieda Frizz Ease Heat Protectant which was great but wanted to try something new. This heat protectant was okay, sadly. I've noticed a lot more split ends with this. Yeah it smells good and it makes your hair soft after blowing drying but it was not protecting my hair from the heat, hence the bunch of split ends on my sort of freshly cut hair. Sad, sad, sad.

I really liked this product, except for a few flaws. The first flaw that I could find was the spray didn'd come out of the bottle in a mist it was more or a squirt. Overall this product worked very well on my hair and although today was my first time using it I would absolutly buy it again. It was so cheap! If you can get any hair product that works as well as this one for under $5 that is amazing, however this one was only $3. I love it! My hair feels so smooth, and silky. It also looks so healthy because I have damaged hair. I also have to say my hair took longer to dry and it was harder to straighten, but after it dried and I straightend it it looked phenominal. I got lots of compliments and those are always good! I think this product is great it was only $2.88 were I bought it whitch was at Target, but im sure it is the same price at other stores if you dont have a Target around you! I love this product and I will buy it again once mine runs out!

I have fine dark hair and my issue with a lot of products like this is that it'll leave residue in my hair. My hair...well...one side of my hair, was REALLY damaged, so I started using this paired up with some other Aussie products, and my hair is amazing now. I love this product. Especially when using it with Aussie spray in conditioner. It has a smell, but it isn't an overpowering smell if you're sensitive, or just don't like products with smell. It's a very refreshing smell, reminds me a lot of oranges/tangerines. It's not flowery/perfumey. It's pretty cheap, definetly worth giving it a try.

I didn't really like this all too well. After using this, my hair felt very dry, but looked very greasy. The price was not bad in the least, and the smell was just so-so for me. I feel that it really did not protect my hair from heat. tried oh-so- hard to like this product, simply because I usually adore all things Aussie. A miss among many hits for them.

I was using TreSemme's heat protectant spray but didn't like how sticky it felt even after blow-drying and straightening. I like this spray MUCH better! It smells amazing and gives hair an extra shine. The nozzle does not spray very effectively, so I usually spray it onto a brush to distribute it evenly on damp hair or run my fingers through it before styling. It does a good job of protecting from damage as I have noticed fewer split ends (I'm careful to use relatively low heat when straightening and I am also using Aussie Cleanse and Mend shampoo and conditioner = healthy looking hair!) Aussie is my new favorite brand of hair care products! They are cheap, smell nice, and do what they claim to.

I bought this last night for about $3 because I was getting tired of my TreSemme heat tamer spray. When I got home I took off the saftey seal like thing (which was difficult! D: then I tested it out.

The first thing I noticed was:
-the smell was somewhat overwhelming
-when sprayed, it squirts in a straight line, it doesn't "mist"
-my hair started feeling thick And hard to brush through

Then I began to straighten;
-my hair was as stiff as a hard noodle! D:
-it was hard to get through
-added probably 5 extra minute to my normal hair routine

But, the end results were great=]!
My hair is really shiny, and I honestly do feel like the spray helped protect, alot!
It also helps my hair keep it's style all day, and it feels so healthy.
I will gladly repurchase , it's a great product for a great price (=
