I have never tried a primer before and I saw this product and decided to try it under my make up,it made my skin smooth but I'm still looking for the glow
I havent tried many primers but i do like the way this one feels on my skin and it does make my makeup go on smoother and does not break me out. A little goes a long way and it is very affordable.
This primer feels very oily, but it did make my skin look very soft. I didn't like how there was so much glitter. It also had a funny smell that I didn't enjoy. As a drugstore brand, it was good for the price. I'm not sure I'd invest in another one of these.
Its not the best primer ive ever tried or the worst. For 6$ its a good priced primer and will take you a long time to use up. It feels similar to monistat anti chafing gel, as they are both silicone. Ive never had problems with it breaking me out and made my makeup last. a work horse product.

I wanted to try an inexpensive primer since I have a very hard time getting makeup to last on my skin all day, so I decided to give this one a shot. Unfortunately, it was definitely not for me. I gave my skin a very filmy/oily feel and did nothing to help my makeup go on better or last longer. It may be that it just isn't for oily skin.

I have, love, and use the other two primers from Hard Candy, Sheer Envy Primer (the original in the white tube) and Illuminating Primer (in the purple tube), so I thought I might as well pick up the other primer (Skin Perfecting Primer in the pink tube) to complete the collection. After using all three on and off for the last few months I have to say that I've noticed all three primers work identical on my skin, by filling in small lines and pores, leaves my skin feeling silky, improves make up application, and extends the length of wear too. The biggest difference I've noticed amongst the three primers is the shimmer and illuminating properties. Sheer Envy Skin (white tube) contains no shimmer, Sheer Envy Skin Perfecting Primer (pink tube) contains very fine and minimal quantity of shimmer, and Illuminating Primer (in the purple tube) contains quite a bit of shimmer particles compared to the other primers. The reason why I prefer Sheer Envy Skin Perfecting Primer to the others in the Hard Candy line is this primer delivers a really nice, realistic, and subtle illuminating glow from within for my complexion. I can wear this primer either during the day or night and feel good that I'm not overly shimmery, especially in direct sunlight. Personally I enjoy all three and have found a purpose for them, but I would repurchase this primer first before the others available in the collection based on the more natural radiating glow that compliments my complexion and personal taste.

This stuff is pretty good. usually i use the ulta prime-time primer which is a little weird textured. this stuff goes on super smooth and a little goes a long way. it makes your face feel velvety soft and controls oil without drying out your face. the packaging is great ..almost all hard candy packaging is great. it lets you control how much you want on your face.. the only problem is there isnt much for what you pay. but its a good primer really. good for begginers or those who just dont want to spend much.

This product is overal pretty great! I used it once, but decided I didn't feel it was good for dry skin. However, I now use it almost everyday! It smooths the skin and feels amazing and silky during application. It also does help keep foundation on a little longer with a cleaner look. I definitely recomend it for anyone who wants to try it out(:
I wouldn't normally have written a review for this one because as it turns out, I am allergic to it. I wanted to write about it though in case there is someone else with sensitive skin, so they don't have an allergic reaction as I did.
Going on, it was weird! It was like I had little salt crystals all over my face. I am not sure if this was from the product or our water softener acting weird. I didn't yet put foundation on over it. I did find that it made my skin look a little better, just using it and no makeup. My skin also felt hydrated (up until my skin freaked out and puffed up). If you don't have sensitive skin, or don't typically have a problem with products, I would try it. I have problems with my skin a lot when trying new products.
UPDATE: This stuff ended up breaking me out after a week of use. I also noticed the glitter for the first time when I got halfway through the tube. The glitter really looks fake and awkward on my face. I broke down and purchased Smashbox Photo Finish Primer yesterday and I'm going to try that instead. It's worth the price to have a good primer.

It is SO cheap, I had to buy it. It seems to tone down red inflammation on my face and I don't breakout. Its obviously not the quality of the expensive products, but it does the job for me right now. The consistency is probably strange if you're used to the nicer primers, but it doesn't bother me. Very gel-like and it doesn't take very much to cover the entire face.
