I was disappointed in this. It says on the website that it could be medium to full coverage, I would definitely say medium at best. I have red marks leftover from previous acne which are a pain to cover up. This concealer really didn't hide them better than a lot of the drugstore concealers I've tried (I have 8 or so drugstore concealers). I don't really see why people say this is full coverage, maybe they just don't have anything major to cover up. I even tried to build it up and use more and it wouldn't cover my marks. It could be a little bit cakey if you weren't careful, too. I've read reviews of people who said it felt heavy or like it tugged on their skin and felt really uncomfortable, well I didn't get that feeling at all. It felt like a normal concealer and wasn't uncomfortable to wear in my opinion. If you are thinking about getting this for your undereye darkness, then it could be good. I still use it for that but I don't use it for dark marks because it doesn't work well enough for that. It doesn't crease and it does stay on well, I give it that. Also, when I pump it out, I put the excess makeup in a plastic tub with a lid that seals, because it pumps out too much to use at one time. Bottom line, this really disappointed me when I tried to use it to cover my dark marks from acne, but it could be good for undereye darkness or less serious discoloration.

I love this concealer. My problem areas are usualy redness around my nose and T-Zone, also even though I am 15 I tend to suffer with rather dark circles and puffyness. I have tried a variety of different products to try and none seem to work as well as this one. Its amazing coverage and a really good consistency, so isn't really thick when applied to the skin. I do not suffer with oily skin so im not sure how this product would work with oily skin types.
I would deffinalty recamend this product if like me you suffer with dark circles. It gets rid of them completely! For £14:50 at a MAC counter its a great price and lasts ages, as you only need 1 pump per aplication (1 pumps is enough for me) Try It!

Oh, and I use this as a foundation instead of concealer, just so we're clear.

MY SKIN:
Now I am very pale with slight yellow undertones (BEHOLD, other brands, one must NOT be pink because they are pale!) I am about NC10, but that doesn't exist in MAC foundations, but NW10 does and it seems to work. A little uneven skin with small whiteheads on my cheeks sometimes, and some (just a little) discolouration and a little redness. I have also found a good match in MUFE Mat Velvet+ and Shiseido Radiant Lifting foundation in O00.
SHADES:
I am most certainly grateful for MAC's foundation shade range, though I can never find a match in their foundations, because I'm too pale. NC15 is usually two shades too dark for me, except MAC Studio Sculpt foundation which is just one shade too dark.
Their concealers on the other hand, I can usually find a match in the lightest shades. I have tried all their concealers (read bottom for comparison). This one I couldn't find a match in, because it dries significantly darker than in the bottle (it's already too dark in the bottle). I bought NC15 and mix it with Illamasqua Skin Base in White to get the right shade.
COVERAGE:
Full coverage but could be sheered down to medium.
FINISH:
Matte/natural, definitely not dead-matte.
LONGEVITY:
Lasts well over the promised 15 hours for me! Looks exactly the same when I put it on and when I wash it off. The longest I have worn this is 26 hours (horrible day) and it looked the same. Once I fell asleep with it on (shame on me) and it looked almost the same when I woke up.
PACKAGING:
I don't care about the packaging except I CAN'T GET ALL THE PRODUCT OUT! I have several "empty" bottles with plenty on the bottom that I CAN'T GET OUT! So frustrating.
CONCLUSION:
This is a staple of mine and I use it almost every day when I need to be awake for very long. I love how it evens out my skin texture and tone, doesn't accentuate flakes, bumps or anything, just smooths it out. I love how it lasts all day and covers everything I want it to cover. Great job MAC.

MAC CONCEALERS COMPARISON:
- MAC Select Cover-Up - sheer coverage, runny/watery liquid, ashy shades but pale enough for me. Creases, doesn't last. Comes in squeeze tube.
- MAC Studio Finish - full coverage, thick texture, the shades are great - pale enough for me. Looks cakey, lasts but looks awful after a while. Comes in pot.
- MAC Select Moisturecover - sheer to medium coverage, liquid (thicker than Cover-Up), shades I find too pink (both NC and NW), a little too dark for me. Creases incredibly, doesn't last at all. Comes in tube with wand.
- MAC Mineralize Concealer - light to medium coverage, liquid (same as Moisturecover), great shades and pale enough, lasts a little better than the others. Doesn't crease that bad. Comes in a tube with a brush-like wand.
- MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer - incredible full coverage, very thick and dry texture, the palest shades of all. Looks cakey and awful on me, but could be great on others. Came in a pot. (Discontinued)
- MAC Pro Longwear Concealer - full coverage, liquid but thicker than Moisturecover and Mineralize, shades too pink (in my opinion) and FAR too dark! Oxidizes. Lasts forever. Comes in bottle with pump.

P.S, I use NARS Loose Powder in Snow or Flesh to set this and Smashbox Photo Finish Primer to prime. continued >>

Not cool Mac! The NC15 of this is EXTREMELY dark, and doesn't even come close to the other concealers/foundations I have from Mac in NC15. This is orange, and it's so runny and hard to control. Furthermore, this makes my skin feel like it can't even breathe. For pale girls with warm undertones like me, who are normally NC15, you'll be hella disappointed with how dark this is, and how hard it is to blend. I would give this another try if they came out with a true NC15 colour, but I don't have much hope. I like my Mac Studio Fix concealer better.
Great concealer, doesn't crease on me if I take my time to apply it.
I've got hyperpigmentation spots, and it works fine covering them up if I layer it, and still - I wouldn't call it a full coverage concealer BY NO MEANS. So, if you need really full coverage, go for something else.
I use it on my under eye area only.
I blend it with my fingers for best results and always set it with translucent powder, otherwise it will run away off my face after a few hours.
I've got a big issue with large pores around my nose and Pro Longwear Concealer doesn't accentuate them - which is a huge plus for me.
I find that NW shades conceal and brighten up the under eye area better then the NC shades (even though I'm NC).
Cons: the stupid pump we all dislike; it retails for 45 US dollars at Brazilian MAC stores and Brazilian Sephora

I just bought this and I really like/really don't like a few things about it. I have to say that overall it is a great concealer, but I have some issues with it.
Firstly, the packaging is SO annoying. It's a glass tube, just FYI so be careful not to drop it.
Secondly, the pump is really hard to control and you usually pump out more than you need. Try to pump it really slowly, holding the pump with your thumb and index finger, trying to control how much comes out. It's really hard. I finally figured out how to do it.
A third issue I have with this is it dries darker than it looks. Quite a bit darker. I bought this with the intent of using it on acne scars and hyper pigmentation. They matched me at Mac for my colour (NW 20). When i used it the next day, I found it was too dark for my cheeks, but is good for under my eyes. If you're using foundation over top this might be ok, but powder didn't cut it and my cheeks looked blotchy even when i blended it.
Maybe eventually I will buy a lighter one, but for now this colour is working well under my eyes. It doesn't crease if you set it with powder, doesn't fall, and lasts all day.
I LOVED this product!
i saw many good review on youtube and online
I have acne prone skin, dark circles, and red areas around my face. i needed something to make my skintone an even color. I know this is a Concealer, but i use it as a foundation. This product is amazing! it covers all my red areas, covers well around my eyes to were i can see no dark circles. This product is $19 at mac, but worth it!
ill be repurchasing!
I have some serious dark circles and have tried so many concealers. There are a few hit and misses, but this one works well for my skin type. I have combination skin and major dehydration lines under my eyes. this concealer stays on longer without creeping into creases and doesnot cake up. i dont have to touch up all day long.
i recommend this concealer to those looking for longer lasting concealers. the only thing i actually dont like is the packaging. the pump dispenses way too much product. you have to be very gentle with the pump. Not very user friendly especially if you are in a hurry.
Will buy again just because it works well.
I originally bought this concealer for my hereditary dark circles. I hated how it applied, looked, and it didn't cover too well. I don't have super dark circles but they're pretty dark for my fair skin(it looks like i cried and not slept for a week). I bought it with many other concealers trying to look for my HG under eye concealer.
I don't like how it feels sticky. It being a little sticky makes it hard for me to accomplish the "I had 8 hours of sleep" look. I'm 22 and i don't have wrinkles, but it settled into my tiny fine lines under my eyes. Therefore, I stopped using it and it was just sitting on my makeup table.
I then rediscovered it for covering acne, scars, uneven skin tone. i work 12 hour shifts and i don't want to wear a foundation b/c i want my skin to be able to breath more.To better explain how i use the concealer, ill just write a step to step process and hopefully it'll help somebody out there who's wanting slight coverage on their face without putting too much products. Must be careful with pump b/c it will pump out a whole lot of product. I literally concentrate so i don't pump out to much lol
1. I always use a primer, but not to much(hourglass is my HG)
2. I then CAREFULLY pump about a quarter of the pump(its very hard with this pump)
3. lightly dab onto problem areas on face: acne, scars, redness, broken capillaries, etc.
4. Using a sigma F80, F82, or F84 brush(they all work perfect) i blend it out from inner of face to outer
NOTES:
- this does not give a full coverage effect. It's almost a tinted moisturizer effect. sheer coverage
- must work section by section since it dries fast
- for reference i wear the shade NC20. I'm NC25 on the mac prolong wear foundation and mac doesn't have the concealer in a nc25
Like other reviewers hate the pump, love the product.
Price: $24 CAD
Texture: slightly runny
Coverage: full
Finish: natural matte
As mentioned above, I hate the pump because it dispenses too much.
Tiny dot on under-eye area=no dark circle!
It covers up cystic acne well too.
I really like its fresh-sweet scent as well :)
