I have them both. Very beautiful shadows great pigment . Sometimes to shimmery and glittery for every day but I am more of a matte girl anyways. Very versatile and will last forever. Have had naked for 2 years and makes two for a year and have tons left

Pros:
-Pigmentation is great
-As someone with a warmer skin-tone, I lean toward this palette over the Naked2 palette.
-A lot of product
-Comes with a high-quality eyeshadow brush i use daily

Cons:
-WAY too shimmery and glittery
-the "sidecar" shade has crazy fall-out, no matter how much primer you use
-The "velvety" case gets dirty easily and the print on the case wears off easily

I caved in to purchasing the Naked palette due to all the hype. I thought it'd be great for creating daily looks. Once I received it in the mail and started using it, I realized how shimmery and glittery it was. This can be a good or bad thing, depending on your preferences. But unfortunately for me, I guess the shimmery/metallicy-ness of the majority of the palette didn't sit too nicely on my face. A year after buying it, this palette sits in the back of my makeup drawer, and I only use the mattes and highlighter shades occasionally. Other than that, all the other colors remain virtually untouched. I can see this palette being ideal for shimmer-lovers and younger gals. But my honest opinion is that this palette is just way too shimmery to create a natural, neutral look.

This was my first ever high end eyeshadow palette. And I love it!! The colors are super pigmented and have lasted me for about 2 years now and I still haven't hit pan.. The shadows are all amazing quality and they are very smooth and not chalky whatsoever. The color selection is great and there is a mixture of matte and shimmery shadows (more shimmery though..). I wish the packaging had a snap closure, and the fuzzy case gets pretty dirty. But I like that it has a mirror inside. It's pretty expensive, but definitely worth it!

To start off this review, i have both palettes and there are some differences between the two. The Naked palette is more of a darker neutral palette that i tend to lean towards when wanting a everyday smokey eye or even dramatic nighttime smokey eye, you can use it for everyday but i tend to grab for it for the reasons stated above! The packaging is okay, but i don't like how things can stick to the 'velvety' packaging, i have dogs so little hairs will occasionally stick to this palette, but thats a quick fix! One last thing about the packaging is that it is a little flimsy at times but if dropped holds together very well and protects the shadows! One thing i don't like is how both Naked palettes have the color "Half Baked", why not add a different shade of gold to the Naked or Naked 2? Other than that i am going to go onto the colors, my go to colors in this palette are Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, and Toasted these are great for everyday but if you want a smokey eye these definitely go good with darker colors like Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal! I do recommend this to everyone as i think these colors would look good on any skintone and these are very high quality shadows, easily blendable and look great up close and from afar! I think this is worth the price and if you can get it on sale, makes it even a greater buy!

Well, I held out a long time since I don't wear eyeshadow all the time... I go thru phases of wearing it... but I had a 15% off coupon last month and I finally pulled the trigger and got this pallette... and as already noted many, many times... it's totally worth it.
Beautiful colors... they stay put! (Imagine that)... I love it.
I've worn it every day since I received it in the mail....
You won't be disappointed....

I looooove this palette. I'm neutral toned leaning warm and this is perfect for everyday. My favorite colors are by far Sin, Virgin, Darkhorse, Buck, and Naked -- I use these all the time! I love how when I go on vacation I can just take this and it's all I need for eyeshadows :)

The only con is the packaging ... the gold letters fade and dirt clings to it like no other. But for the price who cares, you are getting full size UD eyeshadows for less than $5 a piece! I would much rather have a UD eyeshadow for that price than something from the drugstore.

I wouldn't repurchase just because I would like to try the Naked 2 and Naked Basics palette :)

After years of looking for an eye shadow to replace my beloved discontinued Revlon Wet/Dry shadow, I finally caved in to all the hype and bought this. I don't know if my expectations were too high based on all the rave reviews of this palette, but for the price I was expecting a shadow that would be highly pigmented- i.e. would show up really well, and that would have some staying power. Maybe it's just me, but even with the primer, none of these shadows are particularly spectacular on me. And I have e.l.f. shadows that cost a dollar that last longer on my eyes than these do. One thing I will say about this palette is that the colors are great, at least in the box. Unfortunately though, for me the search continues.

I have seen the positive reviews on this palette for years and have been curious about all the fuss. But I really wasn't into neutral colors previously so spending $50 on this palette didn't make sense. In the past few years I have gravitated more and more towards more neutral and interchangable colors and expressed an interest in this palette to my sister. Fortunately for me my wonderful sister purchased this for me for my birthday and I am so glad she did. I absolutely love this palette with all of the great but generally subtle colors. Most can be used together in one combination or another and I like the ease of having it all in one palette nice and convenient. The eye shadows are soft and blendable yet long lasting. The eye shadow brush that comes with the palette makes application a breeze and with the UDPP I got 10+ hours of wear from the shadows without creasing or fading. A mini UDPP comes with the palette. Yes, most of the colors are shimmers which I like. I guess that is my compromise for going to neutrals - I still need a bit of bling. I didn't have any trouble with fall out of the shimmer as some have stated. I have never said this about an eye shadow palette but I could take this on vacation and only take this with no back up eye shadow and be happy. Initially I thought the $50 price tag was too high but now that I have tried this out IMO it is well worth the money. I like this enough that if I should ever use the whole thing up I would repurchase. Now I want to check out Naked 2.

I was not too impressed with this product. I bought it because i read so many positive reviews about it but to me, this eyeshadow palette is just too ordinary for its price. the colors are nice, but nothing spectacular for $50 price tag. I can do same exact look with a cheaper $10 pallete from nyx and other drugstore eyeshadows such as maybelline, and loreal shadows which also has same colors.
This was my first expensive eyeshadow purchase ( all other eyeshadows I own are from drugstores). i find no difference in quality whatsoever. the lasting quality is okay, no better than any of my cheaper shadows.
for the same price, you can stock up on alot more eyeshadows at cvs, walgreens or walmart.
I would not purchase it again and my advise is to look for dupes for the colors as the quality is the same as drugstore shadows.
